Super helpful, knowledgeable, they get to know their patients / customers, take time to call Insurance and the Doctors. Ok, so they can't compete with the hours of the Big Box Pharmacies. So Pay for your Rx online and they'll overnight ship it to you. Problem solved. So many advantages to working with a local Pharmacy! Next time you're at CVS, pull up to their drive thru window only to find out it's broken and go inside. Then wait in their germ-infested line wrapped around two aisles only to get to the counter 25 min later and find out CVS: (a) only filled one of your two Rx's despite their App saying it's ready, (b) charge you out of pocket cost bc they never answered your insurance company's calls, or (c) CVS never filled your life-saving cancer med bc they just well forgot. I've been going to this pharmacy for over a year now and I never encountered any bit of a problem. I may have encountered dozens of problems with my Doctor's office or insurance but the owners are always ready to help and give advice of what you can do. I'm always busy and don't have time to usually post comments about a business entity but I can't help myself to give back to this pharmacy's unending support. They have the fastest service in getting your medications ready if there are no issues from the doctors office, insurance, etc. You go in and out quick since your needs are quickly met. I went to Vincent's Pharmacy with GRANDMA in the 1970's when it was up in the building across the street from Rockville General Hospital. I went to was a patron when it moved to the strip mall down in back of where the old Zahner's used to be.... My mother used them all her life and they saved her from being extorted by one of her live in aides with me.... then they move and new ownership comes in and wants to utterly ruin their relationship with the long-term customers like I am who only owes 6 dollars and needs medication for a yeast infection that can be paid within two weeks, they can't give me my medication even though I've been paying my bill and have payment on file with them. I'm not one of those who use them wrack the bill up and then move onto other places either.... I cared about my relationship and loyalty to them and they snub me. Well forget them....I guess I'm going to have a yeast infection for two weeks..... these younger people don't know what loyalty of a customer truly is. I'm furious. I wish John didn't sell he cared about the person not the pocketbook when it concerned the health of a person! It's not like a yeast infection medication is a controlled substance either. WTF really? My five star rating just went down to two to one stars with this place. These new owners had better pray to GOD they never get sick when they are older and are denied basic healthcare services. If I didn't know better they are predjudice against people on SS Security or State... He told me to go someplace else and get my medication. He also told me to call my doctor to get a cheaper copay one this is why I think he's prejudiced against those with state healthcare. Why would he say that if this med was only$20? Pharmacy's are part of a healthcare team for an individual. People who have been loyal do not like to feel like their loyalty is disregarded either. I'm not out of line here. The only out of line thing I did was drop the F bomb a couple times. I got the yeast infection because I was on the antibiotics. Now see after hours nurse called me back calling office tomorrow seeing what they can do and then First Choice does have a pharmacy, so I'll take my business there... I'm done. I do NOT recommend Rockville Pharmacy to anyone at this point. They have changed and do not care about those in the community who are on fixed incomes anymore. We have a lot who are. First Choice Healthcare Centers has always been good to us and I go to them for everything. They just started this pharmacy so I'm going to call them and see about rolling everything including my daughter's things over. Want to know what the problem is? Yeast Infection with an open wound. I have a boil that just burst and another one that will be soon on my inner thigh. I have to be very careful the yeast doesn't get into the bloodstream through this open wound. The pharmacist didn't need to know this!

I have never had even the slightest problem getting a prescription filled for my spouse (or my cat), except for delays by my insurance provider. The pharmacists are always on top of any vaccine requirements as well. I was formerly with another well known pharmacy firm that begins with C, who often dispensed the wrong meds (with another person's name on the vial), or was out of the required medications or dispensed meds with the wrong dosage. The pharmacy at the Newington Walmart has never made any error at all.
