This CVS is the first retailer in this shopping plaza. It is very well stocked. They even have fresh roses by the register. Most of the new releases are already on the shelves, no special displays. I was very surprised to find Pat McGrath Makeup at this CVS. Pat McGrath is a high end brand I typically find at Sephora. Additionally they also have some high end skincare here. I haven't used their pharmacy or their photo department. This is a nice CVS I would be sure to return to in the future.

I was told they needed 15 minutes to get everything ready. I told her I'll be back soon for it. I came back two hours later, was acknowledged and told it would be a few minutes later. Five minutes later, someone else calls me, asks for the insurance information again which I had already given and said it would be an additional 10 minutes. I was told they only fill prescriptions while patient is waiting... which I was never told. It's a waste of time for busy individuals such as myself. Mind you, I was picking up a small device, not medication. To top off my annoyance, a staff member was rudely speaking in Spanish about another customer. Very unprofessional. First time here and I'll be avoiding coming back!

I like the products because they are more natural and not filled with all sorts of crap. The store itself is very clean and well organized. The product supplies are usually stocked quite well and you don't have to worry about them being out of your favorite product. Yes, the brand new products do go quick....it is in a high traffic mall. They have a great loyalty program. You even get free birthday gifts and you can pick your own discount day each year. This is pretty much my entire make-up regimen. It's easier on your skin and you don't break-up like you would with most other product lines.... I'll be back again and again!!

When I think of Bare Escentuals I think they cater to those who wear little makeup and who have limited makeup application experience. I was so annoyed that I wanted to leave the shop and head to Sephora. The place was beautifully decorated and the selection is amazing but the girls who work here can use some customer service lessons. Not everyone who walks in will be knowledgeable about a product. When a new customer walks in they should use that opportunity to recruit new loyal customers. I walked out with a makeup brush cleaner. Next time I'll just shop online. I walked in expecting to get catered to and figure the girls will be willing to demonstrate and let my cousin try out the product line.

The store is brightly lit and inviting making one feel safe as they shop. They even offer fountain drinks which I am a fan of! They have Coca Cola products available from the fountain and the only complaints I have is that the cups available are a little bit cheap and flimsy, additionally the sodas are a little pricey at $2.29 for a large. They also offer ICEE brand slushies as well as a large selection of hot coffee, I would love to see a larger selection of iced coffee as I thought they were lacking. The store is overall one of the better convenience store in the area and as for the Gasoline service they offer completive prices along with a clean and well lit service island. In fact you won't even see a store named "Higleyville Coin". Instead you'll see the Simsbury Pharmacy. Your GPS isn't broken, because Higleyville Coin is located inside the pharmacy! I visited yesterday and spent a good hour with Robert -the pharmacist who also runs the coin shop. He was super polite, a real gentleman, professional as could be, and very reasonable to deal with.
