Julian M could use more training for his job and instructions on customer service. I came in to pick up a prescription, and Julian informed me that the order had been sent to the wrong CVS location. He told me that in order to get it to this location. I would have to call my doctors office to have them resend it. I did this, but then received a message from the pharmacy saying that the prescription could not be filled until the 30th because it was counting as a refill, not a reroute. So I called the pharmacy themselves, and spoke to a pleasant young lady who informed me that Julian was mistaken, and he could have switched it over from the very beginning. An hours worth of phone calls back-and-forth between my doctors office and the pharmacy, all for something that he could have done in the first place. When I returned to pick up my prescription, Jillian was again working the drive through window. This time, he was busy purchasing a Gatorade at the pharmacy's checkout counter, and having a conversation with the cashier. He motioned his finger up for me to wait for him, which I did, for approximately three minutes while he finished his conversation and purchase., I let Julian know what had transpired and let him know that in the future, he's able to take care of that himself and not cause such a hassle for his customers. He curtly replied."ok" and promptly turned his back on the window, got my medications and told me to sign the slip so I could be on my way. I had an irritated tone to my voice, but was extremely respectful in the way I delivered my message. An apology would've gone a very long way in the situation instead of an abrupt OK and sending me out the door. read more

This CVS pharmacy blows (and not in a good way). The pharmacy staff (some not all) are incompetent and lack customer service skills. First, the drive thru window is full of posters and the attendant stands off to the side, as if they are hiding, so there is no eye contact. You just kind of speak into the abyss unless you are a contortionist. Second, I don't need a snippy lecture on downloading the app to get my prescriptions. I'm sorry if your job sucks but just no. Third, there are like 10 people working behind the counter and they still can't get it together. I'm sure they all have their own jobs but the system does not work together. Fourth, I've lost count of how many times they have had to order meds AFTER my prescription was due. I have had to wait a number of days (up to a week) and go thru withdrawals from meds before these yahoos get their $hit together. I have picked up a prescription, leave and then get a phone call that I have another prescription ready?! Like, what?!???? I literally left and on my way home I get a call for another prescription. Changing pharmacies asap. I've had nothing but problems with this store. Long lines. Couldn't find my refill. Go back to the back of the drive through line while they fill it again. The medication is considered a controlled substance so I can't call for a refill until only one tablet is left. Called first thing in the morning and they contacted me at 7:30 pm to say it was ready. I show up at 8:45 and the pharmacy is closed. They say, come back at 9. I show back up at 9 and it's still closed. Then I see the staff walking in at 9. Then at 9:05 they finally open the doors but they cant help anyone because the cash register isn't set up yet. They didn't help the first person until 9:10. For someone not feeling well I'm sure standing in line was what they wanted. read more

I've been using CVS pharmacy for over a year now; I switched from Target pharmacy because I was finding Target had longer lines, longer wait, was out of my meds & their pharmacy hours weren't jiving with my schedule. CVS is only a minute or two drive from my home & the pharmacy closes at 9pm (6pm on Sundays, I believe). Sometimes there are lines, but with the convenience of the two things I mentioned prior, it's worth the wait. I also would encourage using the CVS app! I can check in whenever I want to see if my meds are ready for pick up, get a text message when they are ready & also request refills. I haven't had a problem using the app thus far. My husband or I come in here often (weekly) for stuff we need & dont want to go far. It's...expensive here. If you use your extra care card, you will get coupons & CVS cash back during certain times of the year. You can get a good deal if you're couponer though - oh & I often get coupons for 20-30% off my instore purchase. If you get them via email, you can have the convenience of sending it to your extra care card (so you dont have to lug coupons around) & it pops up at the register. I also like that they sell a good variety of gift cards here! So convenient when we dont have time to shop for a gift & on are on our way to a party :) read more

CVS has great products and outstanding customer service. Your prescriptions are ready quickly and you can be notified by text on your phone, if you like, when they are ready for pickup. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the prices are good. I highly recommend CVS at 11th and Fargo. read more

After this pharmacy moved to the new building on Lacey, it it has seemed to struggle to maintain sufficiency; understaffing, out of medications, medications not filled in a reasonable time, long lines, poor customer service. It was a great pharmacy when it was Longs Drugs, but once CVS took over, it went downhill. read more

I changed prescription insurance companies and needed to pay for a 90 day prescription of Atorvastatin out of pocket one time. CVS wanted to charge me $362.99!!!! I've read articles about prescription costs and knew that generic cholesterol drugs are fairly cheap even without insurance. I called the pharmacy department to clarify if the text I received was the correct amount and was told yes because it was coded as "cash." I promptly looked up comparison costs for this prescription without insurance and the prices ranged from $26 to about $60. Costco being the least expensive as I called them and had my prescription transferred there and the cost is $27.30 for the same prescription and amount that CVS wanted $362.99 for. I have no clue how or why CVS justifies charging over $300! I have no intention of ever going to CVS for a prescription whether I have insurance or not. This is shameful to me and should be for any other person as well. read more

I love this store. I go here at least 3 times a week to grab things. The employees are so friendly and helpful. Using your care card can definitely save you money. I have received over $40.00 in CVS cash in the last 6 months. The only complaint I had was that they had no carts you could take out of the store. They all had the tall pole on them. When went this weekend, I noticed they got in several new carts for hauling to you car, YAY! read more

This is the worst pharmacy in town. The service is terrible. It's understaffed and it could use a good cleaning. They will give you a time to pick up your medications, and most of the time it isn't ready, and will ask you to come back in a few hours. Not just once, it has become a regular occurrence. The new thing now is they are regularly out of common medications, and you have to wait several days. You almost get the feeling CVS is trying to get you to use the new pharmacy they just built. read more

Absolute worst customer service in the pharmacy. Horrible and rude! Three trips in one day for a prescription on the fourth time was told pharmacist was on lunch and had to wait for her. But they text me to say it was ready. I guess they forgot to put but we won't give it to you cause the pharmacist is on lunch. Guess her time was more important than mine. I've always went to CVS Pharmacy before the drive thru for 33 years now the drive thru for two more years total time I've been a customer 35 years. August 10th, 2016 at 4:45pm I went thru the drive thru the guy answered he would be right with me he continues to put prescriptions out in the bins ignores me waving at him after five minutes standing outside my car at the window waiting for him to come and retrieve one Prescrption CVS called that was ready. Anyway he keeps putting prescriptions away I knock on the window he still says just a minute I yelled at him I had been waiting already five minutes and asked him what was he going to do not wait on me and continue putting prescriptions in the bins and I just had one prescription he asked for my named and info I sign the recept to leave. He slams the pen on the floor and goes back to the prescriptions throws his pen across the counter. As I said I've never ever had trouble with CVS until today. I couldn't get his name as he covered up his name with his hand. He saw I had my phone in my hand ready to write a review well here it is. The other ladies have always been so nice in the pharmacy. read more
