Nutty Fruity - Dubai Chocolate
Haku H.

Nutty Fruity - Dubai Chocolate :: I'm a little lost about this taste. The chocolate taste cheap and the pistachio taste cheap. The chocolate reminds me of Lindt chocolate but less bitter and more sweater. Sometime I can taste the undisolve sugar. The pistachio filling is not even pistachio. It's something else. The only thing that I like about this bar is the toasty Kadayif. The simplest way to describe this chocolate taste is a toasty froot loop chocolate bar. RATE : 1/5 I'm expecting a slight bitter chocloate taste and a creamy soft/fluffly pistachio flavor with crunchy Kadayif. AMBIANCE :: Costco is always great! I do self checkout. So, I do my own thing and leave. There's not much customer service interaction here.

I think the Clovis location was cheaper IDK I forgot .

I was running errands in the area and stopped by the Hanford Costco on Lacey Blvd for the first time. Honestly, I'm highly impressed! Even though Hanford is a smaller city, this location has a much better selection of unique and rare products compared to the three locations in Fresno and Clovis. They actually have Almond Roca candy in stock (which the Fresno/Clovis stores ran out of--you could honestly make a decent profit reselling these right now). I also found the men's Gillette Pro-Glide 5+ with the bonus handle, and a great Chick-fil-A 3-pack featuring the original, honey mustard, and Polynesian sauces. My overall shopping experience was great, but I did witness something unpleasant. I saw a parent yank their child's hair incredibly hard. While adults absolutely need to keep their kids from wandering or going wild in the aisles, it should always be handled in a civil manner. Abuse like that is completely uncalled for. That aside, if you are nearby or passing through Hanford, I 100% recommend stopping by this location. You can thank me later!

I love coming here for all my needs. I get my puppy food here, my groceries, and all of my apartment items to live comfortably. Their return policy is great. Their quality of products are always amazing. The service is quick and they make sure you're acknowledged. This Costco is always clean and organized. Probably the best Costco in the Central Valley. I'm definitely coming back here.

Oh Costco where do I begin? You've let me down. From scanning ID's at the door to not believing me, not much is keeping me as a member these days. When I heard on the news that they would start scanning ID's just to get in I was disappointed. And why? Because they're loosing money on non members going in to eat samples? Really!? Limit samples or get rid of them all together. Sample zombies that leave their shopping carts in the way while they consume their samples is the worst anyways. Annoying and rude! Not the sample peoples fault, but not necessary. As of my visit last night around 8 at night, it's official. It's started. Didn't create a line, maybe because it was late, but still annoying. Second incident (Fresno Costco) I got into it with the cashier who didn't want me using the separator sticks on the check out conveyor belt. I wanted to separate two of my items and the people in front of me. No need to get moody with me lady but whatever. Third and most annoying incident, I found dinner rolls for $.97. Look at them and sell by date was the day prior. Makes sense why the price. Cool I'll just freeze them and use them later. At check out they rang full price, almost $6. Told them I didn't want them and showed the cashier my picture who sent her assistance to check. The couple behind also said that's why they got them. By then two other employees had shown up and I mention to them they were past due. I told them she could just take them off and we could move on as the couple behind me were visibly annoyed by now and I just wanted out of there. She said she couldn't do it, she needed supervisor approval to delete it. So who the hell were the other employees there????? So guy comes back and says he saw no sign!!!! I didn't say it, but I was thinking, so I took the time to photo shop a sign for cheap past due rolls???? Come on Costco. And they were gonna give them to me for $.97 but he didn't come back with them. No apology, no nothing. Hurry up and build that Sams club in Visalia and I'm pulling chocks. You were one of my favorite stores but not no more. Costco, please fix yourself or I'm out.

Never disappoint! Had an employee look down and mentioned she liked my pants. Next thing you know she gives me this free hotdog.

They're super patient and helpful at the return desk. Mostly cashiers are friendly. Staff is helpful.

Are the hours different in the optometry dept than regular hours?

No they are the same as the store hours. However, it's only optical - no eye exams available at Hanford Costco.

They have lots of parking, clean bathrooms, and did I mention the gift shop!? They have everything from local, fresh cheeses, different types of milk, including banana, and so so many other items. I ordered scrambled eggs with no butter and just a light amount of oil. They came in a cup, and when I dumped them onto a tray to try to eat them, an unbelievable amount of butter/oil poured out. It honestly looked like someone had pumped popcorn butter all over them. Completely inedible. The kids' pancakes were also raw inside. Money straight down the drain. The outside of the place is cute, the bathrooms are clean, and the shop itself is adorable with a ton of stuff to browse and buy. If you're stopping by, grab a coffee, use the bathroom, check out the shop and then run out of there before ordering breakfast. If you have kids, they do have an outside play area.

The owner looked me up and down, and said, "Leave your backpack at the counter!" I informed him that it was my purse and contained my medications, wallet, and car keys. He insisted that it was store policy. I gestured at the Mexican and White ladies shopping who clearly had possession of their purses and asked him if he was stating that it was policy only for people who look like me to leave their purses at the counter while they shop. He actually looked me dead in the eye and said "Yes. Store policy." The lady at the check out counter turned and looked at him in absolute shock and dismay and it took everything I had to walk out of there calmly without cussing the guy out. I guess I have to give the guy credit for having no shame about his discriminatory practices but WOW. I've shopped there numerous times before and never run into him until today. I regret the copious amount of money I've already spent there and I definitely wont ever be going back. It sickens me to think I've been supporting a bigot this whole time. I can't recall the last time I faced such blatant discrimination but it ruined what had been a very pleasant day up until that point. It was so ridiculously offensive I'm seriously considering consulting with an attorney.
