I came to this Walgreens to get my vaccine. They were super nice over the phone when I called to…read moreask some general questions two days prior. Upon my arrival, the store only had a few customers inside. The shelves were well stocked and I was greeted when I arrived. I saw 1-2 employees stocking shelves as I made my way to the back of the store towards the pharmacy. I waited a few minutes for my turn. I was given some paperwork and then back in line to return it. The pharmacy tech called me back into a small room to administer the vaccine. She was really nice and we talked some during our short time together. It was over in a matter of seconds. She asked that I wait 15 minutes before driving away. This is the direction they give everyone after the shot. I was glad that I arrived when I did. After I finished completing my paperwork, a bus of about 8-10 elderly people were dropped off. They were making small talk amongst themselves and with the pharmacy techs. My wait could have been much longer if I arrived after them. They were a cute bunch and the techs knew them by name.

It was a confusing time because one car in the lot not paying attention had dented another and the police were taking statements and gathering information. Made it a bit more chaotic but did not disrupt my getting gas and bottle water for inside the store. Gas of course is self serve and at fairly good price compared to Charlotte. When I went in, the restroom were nice and clean and looked like they had just been cleaned. Picked up my bottled water and checked out with very friendly staff. Overall, a good experience although with the fender bender and having to navigate around it, it did make for a different experience.
