Worst customer service ever !!! Got a new insurance from BCBS that had my health insurance , dental and prescription info on it and even verified this with the insurance company that i did not have a separate prescription card and they said that it sill on the on card. I informed the lady that i had a new insurance card and she told me that that did not have prescription info on it and i pointed specifically where it said "RX" on the card and she very rudely told me I was wrong . I finally told her to call the insurance company , after standing there for ten minutes she finally told me that "BCBS lost their contract with CVS" that took you 10 minutes to figure out ?!? You do this all day and I am sure I am not the first one to come in with that insurance today , shouldn't you have known that the second I gave you my new insurance ? No wonder BCBS got rid of their contract with CVS , i was going to this location due to the convenience and the fact that it was 24 hours but i will highly recommended snider since my insurance company isn't there and the incompetence of the staff. This is 100% the WORST CVS I have ever experienced! I stopped to pick up a script for my husband. The person who handled the transaction, Adan, flat out LIED to me about my FSA card being declined and when I asked said the card had no funds left. I handed him another card and finished, he wrapped the receipt around the card and handed that and the meds to me and I left. I checked my FSA account to see there were more than ample funds available, so I called them. The FSA agent confirmed that the transaction was approved for $46.21. I then checked my bank card and showed a $0.79 charge pending, totaling the $47 he originally stated. I called CVS and spoke to 2 people, I missed the first name, but the pharmacy mgr Jennifer got on the line and explained that Adan "must have hit Accept on the screen instead of decline" to a charity promo in which each purchase is rounded to the nearest $ amt and the remainder (in this case $0.79) went to an Alzheimer's charity. NEVER WAS I ASKED TO DONATE. Both of these people claimed that I had to bring the card and receipt BACK into the store. This is stuff that can be done over the phone but they FLAT REFUSED to refund over the phone!! Among other times where the script wasn't filled, wasn't 100% correct, DELAYS due to really long lines, and the RUDENESS of their staff, I will NEVER EVER go back to this CVS location. People!! Read your receipts!! You could be paying for stuff you don't even REALIZE because they're too underhanded to even mention it!! Absolutely awful. The cvs on Custer is much better even if it's a farther drive. Each time I've visited THIS location, I end up waiting over an hour for a perscription to be filled that should have been done hours or even days ago. They wait last minute on everything and I had to settle on a different brand of a medication and wait for them to fill THAT one. I don't even use Yelp. I downloaded it with the specific purpose of this review because I'm that frustrated with the service. Take the ten minute drive and go to the one on Custer, they fill prescriptions within the hour of them being called in instead of being last minute like this location. Also the lines are always SUPER long at the preston one (and again, over an hour to pick up a single prescription. THERE WERE ONLY TWO CARS AHEAD OF ME). I'd give zero stars if I could. Terrible. Went to this CVS to fill a perscription today. It took 40 minutes to wait in a line of about 4 cars to drop off the perscription. The person couldn't find my account and then after re-entering all my information, suddenly found it. I asked when it would be ready and they told me to come back in an hour. I came back after an hour and a half, waited the standard 30 minutes in line to find the perscription was never filled. She asked me how long ago I dropped it off and I told her over an hour and a half ago. Then after another 10 minutes trying to put it together they realized they didn't have the meds to fill half the order! She said she could call another CVS and have me drive to another store. I said can you just call the Walgreens across the street and she said no. So after 40 minutes dropping it off and 40 minutes picking it up, I have 1/2 of my order. I'm not sure who needs to audit this place, but something needs to change. My son won't be getting the medicine the doctor ordered until Monday (3 days). That's just unacceptable. I wanted to purchase the CVS brand foot cream for pain. I knew this store carried the product because my daughter purchased some at that same store about a week ago. I looked in the foot care section but couldn't find it. I asked for help to find it from one of the managers. She walked me back to where I had just looked and started reading off all the labels for athletes foot products. I told her again that it was a CVS pain product containing menthol and that I had used it before. She wasn't familiar with what her own store carries and asked me once again if it was a CVS product. Then she said it must be online only. I asked her if someone in the store could check online to see if she carried it. She said I would have to provide the item number. Incredulously, I asked why they could not just search on CVS foot pain relief cream and was told they couldn't do that for me. I said to her that she was really NOT being helpful and she just shrugged her shoulders and went into her office and shut the door. I would rate this CVS negative stars but it is not an option. I have been using this CVS for years mainly for the convenience and due to my health issues I need a 24 hour pharmacy. Today I had a SEVERE run in with the pharmacist on duty. Not sure what her name is but she was working the afternoon shift and I see her often and had never had an issue before. I have severe debilitating migraines. I must have multiple migraine medications refiled often. Yesterday I had a migraine went to CVS after work received and after receiving my 3rd toradol shot in 15 days. I had a rx for fiouricet for only 10 pills fille to get me through until I could speak to/see my family doctor. Today my family doctor called in a normal rx for the normal amount of 30 pills to get me through the holiday knowing that I will be coming in for an appointment 12/24/15 at 8am. Also knowing that I am having multiple tests (MRI, labs, etc) run over the Christmas break. This pharmacist took it upon herself to tell him that I had been in yesterday and had a rx filled making it sound like it was an extra rx with 30 pills not the rx with the 10 pills him and his staff were already made aware of by me. Him and staff now think I had 70 pills filled of migraine pain relief rx medication filled yesterday which was not the case. When I was alerted to the fact that the rx would not be filled and why by the pharmacist and I explained the whole situation to her. Her only response was "Oh I was not aware of the situation". Of course she is not aware of each customers health situation nor should she be because it is none of her business. I guess in order to receive sufficient health care and be able to have the rx filled that my doctors have prescribed for me I will need to bring in a schedule of tests with results and letters to and from each doctor I see so she is aware they are all in contact with each other. If you want even decent healthcare from a pharmacist that does not try to insert themselves where they do not belong or speak with no information and half truths I would HIGHLY suggest you use any other pharmacy. read more

One reason I give this Pharmacy such a high rating is the simple fact that I personally have never had to wait unreasonably long for anything. They have some of the most amazing Pharmacists and Techs I've encountered. Sometimes they are slow and busy because of the questions customers ask as well as changes in insurance paperwork causing things to back up and have to be sorted out. Another HUGE reason things seem slow at this location is that they are EXTREMELY understaffed at night especially when the majority of customers seem to frequent this location, DUH, I would too, it is supposed to be a 24 HR Pharmacy after all. Try to be more patient with the staff here as its totally NOT their fault and they are doing the best they can. Unfortunately CVS Corporate Office seems to think this particular store does NOT NEED more staff hours than other locations. This location has always been one of the most frequented locations around given its ideal drop in location smack in the middle of Frisco, Texas. This location could be the BEST CVS in the Nation if they were given the Needed Staffing Hours to man it properly. The Technicians are simply OVER worked and hugely UNDERPAID! read more

I give one star for the pharmacist that was very kind and tried to correct the error but I had already been lost. After moving here from out of state I start to get all of my men's transferred over, no problem. Until I am told that one is a controlled substance and cannot be transferred between locations and that my GP would need to put in another prescription at that location. That doesn't even bother me a couple more minutes out of my day is nothing if it helps protect with the prescription drug abuse epidemic. So I call my GP they send it in, then CVS tells me they were waiting on a response from the doctors office to verify everything ,still not upset call the office asked if they had verified they asked if cvs could fax over what they needed, so I called cvs and they said sure.so on my online account I checked and presto the prescription was transferred. Nothing abnormal about this yet, and still not upset. I go in to pick up my prescriptions and I asked about the one that was just transferred, and the young man says sure we can fill that "it will take 15-20min would you like to wait?" Sure I can wait. So I walk around for 10-15 min and come sit down, another 10 min and still nothing, but hey they are a busy place so it's ok so after another 15min sitting right in front of the counter the young man says can you hold one second and proceeds to get the pharmacist. So aperntly they cannot give it to me because the prescribed dosage was not included, an error by the GP. Ok I am not upset about that I understand!! I get it !!. Here is the kicker no one could have paged me, could have called me up to tell me this sooner?? Done anything to value the customers time. Our time is very very valuable to everyone and when that is disrespected by untrained staff it is very disappointing. Even after making eye contact with them several times while sitting there they had no comment, can I help you sir, it will be just another moment sir, let me check on that for you. Even when I am the only one there. But nothing , I get nothing in exchange for doing business with them. I blame the head manager for lack of training the tecs. You sir need to have an in service with your staff. I really want to give them another chance but I cannot afford 40 more min of my time, so I will seek my medication elsewhere. So I went to this cvs at midnight to feel my wife's prescription and the Pharmacist verified over the phone before I went and had the meds in stock and that the wait time was 35 min at time of the call. When we got there the wait did go to 45 minutes but she was by herself and 2 ppl were ahead of us and was very polite. She even offered to call us when it was ready so we could go grab a bite. She went above and beyond and called us and said it would be ready in 10 minutes after the 30 minute wait .My wife needs the meds every month and has to get them on a certain date so I pick them up after hrs a lot due to my work schedule. I use to have to go to the one on 75 in McKinney and the Bi@&H always had a horrible attitude and the last time I went she said she would even fill it that night for me period that she had to much work left from the previous workers. I told her you are always rude and never wanna fill anything and called the district mngr because she was a total B%&h and refuse to fill mine period not even if I waited 2 hrs .I seen they closed the store 24 hrs now probably because at night she drove away their business .It was so nice to go to this one because her customer service was above and beyond what I would expect.I wish I knew her name so her mngrs would see how great she is she was probably 30 ,medium build and African American.Thank you to the lady that made something that is usually horrible to deal with in the middle of the night so much more easier and friendly.God Bless her read more
