I was staying at the hotel in the same parking lot for work and needed a few items. I came by at 8pm and the doors were locked and the two gentlemen inside would not let me in. There were no signs on the door to indicate why they would be closed early or if their posted hours were incorrect. She is always so pleasant and cheerful and knows me by name and is always super fast at getting my prescriptions ready and fulfilled. Employees in the pharmacy need to work on not being rude. Some meds are for serious conditions which cause stress to begin with then you have to deal with an objectionable person. Having been in business I told our employees you have a job because we have customers. Treat them with kindness. It goes a long ways. read more

I went through drive thru about 11 this morning. No one opened the windows. I waited almost 10 minutes. Pressed the yellow call button and even knocked at windows. Was still ignored so I entered the store. A woman told me someone will be with me. I told her I was just waiting almost 10 minutes in drive thru and no one helped. She said he's on the phone. I said I'm talking about the clerk at the drive thru. She said sorry and said he's on the phone? Not sure why she didn't address the other man at the window. Never had such crappy service til today. This is the CVS closest to the SpringHill Suites in Fresno, so I usually stop in 2-3 times each visit and I have always been able to find what I need. Staff is friendly and helpful. You will have to ask someone to open the locked freezer cooler with the frozen dinners, but staff always do so when I ask and I can get always get something to eat after a long day. The coolers are not super stocked, but I can usually find enough for that night and the next day's shift like a frozen lasagna or frozen mini burgers. Drinks cooler is always nicely stocked too and I can score a cold Diet Coke anytime I need one! SpringHill Suites only stocks Pepsi products, so I usually pop in to this CVA for my Diet Coke in the morning. Plenty of parking. Store is clean and well-lit. Great staff members. Omg... pharmacy drive thru is very slow. Open for COVID testing in the same line as pharmacy pick up/drop off. Went inside because niece had to use the restroom. Had no toilet paper or toilet seat liner. Used the self check out because I only had three items. Machine didn't register that I had placed my items on their sensored counter, so it locked my transaction and signaled for an employee. I just left it and went to the cashier. I was visiting and went to the CVS Fresno a few times. All the stores were open and clean.

Seriously, I don't understand why people have to be so rude! Angelina was very rude to my daughter and I today. We came in and bought a few last minute items for our trip. I also picked up 2 chapsticks brand by Nivea. They had a sale 2/$5 or one for $3.89. When she rang me up, the price was $3.89 for each and it did not give me the price for 2/$5. I told her that that's what's listed. She said well, "my machine scanned it for $3.89, if you can't afford that then you can look at the .99 cents chapsticks" I was sooo insulted and I told her she can check the price. She said well it didn't scan that price. Then told me to take a picture of the sale price and show her. My phone was literally at 1% then it ran out of battery. So I brought the small chapstick stand up with me to show her. But she was now helping the next customer so I had to wait again behind two customers. When it was my turn, she rolled her eyes at me, I showed her the price of the sticker and she had the nerve to say she can't change it. What was the whole point of me going to take the picture or bringing her the stand to show her the price? I was so irritated I ended up leaving my stuff and having to go to another store to purchase my items. How do people work in customer service and seriously have no people skills?? read more

I was in line at the pharmacy for 10mins behind another car. They saw that i was in line and was taking a long time with the car in front of me. I saw the lady arguing with the pharmacist. When she drove off they rudely closed the window on me not allowing me to pick up my med. My husband just got out of the hospital and needed this med so he doesn't develop antibiotic resistance since he had a bad infection. The girl earlier told me to come back when the prescription was ready and that's when I did. If they didn't want to serve me before rudely closing the window on me, they could at least said sorry we can transfer your med but they didn't say anything to us just closed the window on us despite waiting 10 mins. Very bad communication, does not tell you you can not pick up when there is a consult. Give pharmacist hours at least, now there are 5 people waiting after me, 6 people... frustrating and should tell us before we come in. Some of us work and cannot come and go so easily. I waited, the consultation was him reading the name of the medicine and pointing to how many tablets to take and reading side effects. I've never used the pharmacy here, but staff refuse to check anyone else at the register and force everyone to use self checkout, no matter how uncomfortable with it someone is. Then when you're at self checkout, they literally stand right behind you and watch everything you're doing as if they're expecting you to steal and want to catch you. Hardly ever does someone finish a transaction without the machine needing an employee override for something. I have nothing against self checkout but the way they've rolled it out at this location is awful. On the other hand, the store itself is always clean and well stocked, and the coupon center is always working which is nice. read more

Wow, did that really happen? I went to this location as my usual CVS was out of Benadryl and the deodorant was all locked up. Score! Tons of Benadryl at Fresno and Herndon. The deodorant was locked up here, too, but I was able to reach around on the side and get the ones I wanted out. Pet peeve. I wouldn't dream of shoplifting, so it irks me when I have to ask for (and wait several minutes for) deodorant and razors to be unlocked. Note to self: check to see how Target does theirs next time you're there. So I had my items and headed to the registers. Every one was void of employees. There were NO employee manned checkouts. A girl told me I could use the self checkout and that was the only option I was given. She said "they" wanted customers to start using self checkout. I've used it before (when it was my choice), but she proceeded to walk me through the whole process and helped me with my rewards redemption. She was nice, but come on CVS, give us a choice! Nice reviews. FYI, CVS, people go get COVID and FLU tests because they are not well and they oftentimes drive long distances for these tests. If the testing nurse is not present, you should CALL or MESSAGE the customer to tell them not to drive a damn hour. I get there at 11:00AM and they tell me to come back after 2:30PM because the testing nurse is not there for my appt. I said I was not coming back. I go park and schedule ANOTHER test at another CVS location 20 minutes away. I get there and they can't process me because this INEPT CVS did not cancel my appt. The other location tried. So, after driving around town for a solid 3 hours, I was able to get into the COVID Clinic at the mall and they had me in-and-out in 10 minutes and that's w/ a FNP consult. I'm so done with CVS. They truly do NOT care for their customers. It all falls on the pharmacists. Ridiculous. read more

Honestly, it's hard to think of a better location and the store itself is state of the art. Parking is easy and it's not in a dangerous location like some are. The store is clean, modern, well laid out and the help is about as good as it could be. The aisles are wide and you're not packed with the masses you get a some locations. During this C19, my 87 year old dad is on lockdown and remotely asked me to pick up a lot of things on a list. Not only did I need help looking for all this stuff but Lori, jumped right in and offered her friendly help in locating the items. She even checked on me again once I was in line and sure enough, I'd forgotten the shaving cream, brand, type listed. She jumped right in going to the other side of the store and grabbing it for me while I stood in line. I'm not really familiar with these types of stores so what a big help that was. As is my habit, when I'm impressed with service like this, I'll tell you what a great job you're doing and want to lift you up. Several times a day I get text and emails saying I have a prescription to pick up and I finally get there to pick it up and they're closed. Apparently they have lunch between 130 and two which is understandable but it on the app or general hours posted I made a comment to one of the associates and he takes me over to one of the signs at the very back and at the bottom in small print. It says lunch from 1 to 2 again I understand people have lunch needs, what I don't appreciate is that it is not in large print everywhere. Do not use this pharmacy! Multiple times I have been told prescription was ready when I go to pick up they said they are out of the medication, or limited. They provided me a few day supply still charged me the full price and when I went back a few days later to get the remaining meds charged me again the full price. Called this time to confirm my medication was in fact there pharmacist said it will be filled in a few hours, called back three hours to be told the meds will have to be ordered they are completely out of stock. If this was a one time thing it wouldn't be a big deal but it's almost every time I need my prescription. Very unorganized and very unprofessional read more

The pharmacy at this store is the worst for customer service as they consistently ignore incoming calls from customers and doctor's offices even when there is no line at the pharmacy counter. I stayed on the line for over an hour and no one picked up the call. It seems like a bad business model if neither doctors offices nor customers can talk with anybody in the pharmacy.
