I visited this location on 3/3/26. I get about 8 prescriptions filled every month here. I always shop here for sodas water snacks etc. They decided to put those poles on their carts so you can't take it outside. How in the world am I going to carry a gallon of water, gallon of iced tea, sodas and so on out without a cart! Customer service was called to help me but never came! I will be going to CVS for my meds and Target or Whole Foods for my other needs! read more

I had the absolute worst experience with this place. My prescription was sent to them July 12th. That day I was told it was out of stock, but they would order it and it would be ready on the 16th. Showed up on the 16th and was told it was out of stock, but they will order it and it would be ready the 21st. Showed up on the 21st and again I was told it was out of stock, but they would order it. I came back on the 29th and once again I was told it was out of stock and they'd order it! 17 days of them not giving me my prescription! On the 29th I requested to speak to a manager and he very unprofessional as he said my prescription will be filled at a "first come first serve" basis. He could not tell me when I would get my prescription. I wish I could give this place negative stars read more

The pharmacy has gone downhill as of late. In the past, I'd put in a prescription request and it would usually be ready the same day or the next day at the latest. Now, the message is always "we're running behind - we'll let you know when your prescription is ready". Recently, after being discharged from the hospital, my wife's prescriptions were still not ready three days later. For one prescription, I was told there was a computer glitch and that I it would be ready the next day. I never received it because the way they fixed the glitch was to report that it was picked up. My wife has had to go without. The two times I went inside the store to pick up prescriptions, the same staffer told me to wait even though there was no one else to be waited on. I felt totally disrespected. We will be changing pharmacies. read more

Worst experience ever And very unprofessional. Called three times about my prescription in stock. Two of the PT said it's in stock but hang ups very quick. Third time called old gentleman said it's out of stock but I'd remind him I've spoken two PT they said it's in stock. Older gentleman proceeded asked around if anyone spoken with me. These have got to be the most clueless people on earth! I get texts that my prescription will be returned to stock unless I come pick it up. Go in 3 times and the meds I'm supposed to pick up aren't ready! I can have a seat and wait 20 minutes! Seriously?!! Finally get some help and in the middle of the transaction the clerk goes on break!! The pharmacist came out and asked what I needed. Told her and she said, "your prescription has been picked up." I said, that's not possible." She insisted and then looked by the cash register. The girl that went on break left the bag next to the register and just took off!!!! Didn't bother to tell anyone. It's no wonder the Walgreen's by my house went out of business. Based on my experiences with this store, it won't be far behind. A couple of people waiting in line with me have had similar experiences. Based on my interactions at Walgreen's I'm afraid my Dr. will have to increase my blood pressure medication! This is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. They are super close to my house which is why I initially choose them. I have never been treated politely by a single member of the staff and yesterday was barked at by the pharmacist, where he proceeded to call my medical doctor names and insult how she submitted my prescription. I had to wait in the drive thru 28 mins with only two cars ahead of me for this pleasure of being lectured. She didn't do anything wrong and he was wrong. My doctor was floored by their lack of comprehension. Her office had to call 4 times to clarify a simple prescription. I also had to call 6 times. The prescription still isn't filled. It's still in this forever wait status. I would run the other way from this place. I'm in the process of transferring all of my business as we speak. read more

Called days in advance for refill but did not have daughters medicine as promised she is skipping her dose now due to a miscommunication with the woman I spoke to on the phone and Eugene the Compunder. The woman told him I wanted it a different day. Learned my lesson from now on to call early in the morning to make sure it will be ready before Eugene leaves work and not rely on an empty promise by the pharmacy front staff. I'm giving 3 stars because Eugene is very good at his job. The -2 is for the miscommunication. This is the worst Walgreens. It's almost as if they find new and annoying ways to hold up your prescriptions. I have Walgreens in the Bay Area and almost never had a problem, but this one is the worst. I moved all my prescriptions over to this store when I moved to Fresno in 2018, and they botched up each one. The final straw is when I called and told the pharmacist what to refill 3 times, and when I finally got thru the 1/2 hour wait drive through in 115 degree heat, they had filled the wrong prescription! Sitting in the pharmacy drive thru line for over 20 minutes, not a single car has moved. Figured what better time to write a review on unacceptable pharmacy service than now. This location is a joke! The car in the front line is just an inconsiderate for not going inside or coming back. Drive thru is for convenience. I waited to receive my text alert prior to heading down and I can't believe this line is as long as it is. Terrible terrible terrible pharmacy service! Will never use this location or this chain again. Edit: it took 40 minutes to pick up thru drive thru and only 2 cars were ahead of me. 20 minutes per car is UNACCEPTABLE! I am in the drive thru for over an hour and a half trying to pick up my prescription with no movement what so ever! Whoever was in the photo department put the envelopes in the machine to print wrong and they printed the return address on the back on two separate occasions. Good Lord. To whom it may concern: I have been a customer of Walgreens for over 20 years. In that time I have always had the best customer service. I am sadden that I have to write this message. On Thursday December 19, 2019 I went into store number 13871. This has been the store I have been going to since I was in middle school when the store was at the old location at Palm and Bullard. I went in to pick up my photos and I was not greeted but rudely asked what I needed in the least friendly tone from a guy in a plain black t-shirt from behind the photo counter. I later found out his name is Jason, and he is a manager. Jason had no name tag on, no vest nothing to establish he was a Walgreens employee let alone a manager. I was picking up some wallet photos. I asked to use the Scissors to cut the photos. Jason proceeded to lecture me like I was a five-year-old as to why I couldn't utilize the scissors I finally interrupted him and I asked him can you just please cut my photos but I was trying to ask him to not use the photo slicer in to use the photo scissors because I know since I've been a customer for so many years of photo slicer it's not always accurate on cutting on lines. Jason was busy running around and there is no need to be busy running around and he used the photo slicer and cut my pictures and of course they did not come out right. Jason practically threw the photos at me and proclaimed "they cut wrong" Jason then took it upon himself to order me new ones. What I needed from Jason and what I wanted as a customer wants to be heard and listen to and understood as to what my photo project was before he was making decisions and telling me how I was going to have my photos done. What I was trying to accomplish was putting photos in glass ornaments. I politely asked Jason to please not order more photos because I wasn't sure if I was going to need them. I said at the counter and I rolled up a photo to see if I was going to be able to put it in the glass ornament. Success it did work so then I did ask Jason to go ahead and please re-order me another set of photos. Jason just started leaving and I said oh I'm sorry I didn't catch your name and he "Jason" as he yelled across a group of customers. It's hard to explain in a text Jason's voice, demeaning words and how his nonverbal communication. As I stood there in disbelief with people watching and staring to see how in such a short amount of time I have felt embarrassed and humiliated in a store where are you consider all the employees family there. I am respectfully requested a phone call in my letter to the Corporate office but got a generic email back stating "Sorry we are looking into it" read more

I am 100% a fan of this store. It has literally everything you could need. From snacks to hallmark cards, to toiletries, to shampoo they have everything. The staff I will say 8/10 on customer service, sometimes the pharmacy is slow and sometimes they aren't in a good mood. The only problem I have 100% of the time is the filthy women's bathroom. I am appalled at how dirty and smelly it is every time I go there. There is never paper towels, the trash is always full, soap is empty and this is crazy because the store is immaculate and definitely employs enough people to keep a clean restroom. Every time I come to this pharmacy, there is some kind of problem. Every. Time. Tonight I'm getting off work late, and I just wanna go home. Stopped to pick up my RX, and, the pharmacist is on break for 15 min. So I have to sit in my car and wait. My dogs are waiting. I'm tired and hungry. Maybe I'm 'hangry'. Idk. I know it's a California law, but being told that several times by the person at the window somehow does not make me feel any more cheerful about it. Also, every month when I pick this up, they try to charge me full price, when clearly the last time I picked it up, I had a (much) lower price thru Good RX. Update: Now Walgreens does not accept ANY discount on prescriptions (my specific type of medication) from Kaiser. Funny, I have been refilling them up until March 2019, but was told the policy went into effect November of 2018. I'm done, Walgreens. read more

I pulled into the drive thru pharmacy a couple minutes before 5 which is when the pharmacy closes on a Sunday. One car was in front of me. When I pulled up to the window it was 5:00. I understand your hours are your hours and I'm sure everybody wanted to go home as it's Sunday night, but I was in line before they closed. They seem to lack common curtesy and were unable to be reasonable as the women kept repeating herself "the register is closed". When I explained I would be leaving out of town early morning the next day... there still seemed to be no empathy or care when it came to my situation. If they could've taken the extra 5 minutes to get my prescription which was already ready, that would've been so appreciated. I've worked for many companies where I've gone above and beyond off the clock to help a customer or client. I wish there was a little more consideration in this situation. read more

After a dental procedure I had a prescription for both pain meds and a antibiotic. I dropped it off and was told about 4 hours. 4 hours later no word so my wife went it and the pharmacy was closed due to some technical problem with their internet connection. No one was in the pharmacy to assist customers with transferring prescriptions or to even provide an update to when it would be ready. This was Thursday. I don't come to Walgreens that often, but it's mostly for makeup. Drugstores usually have a wider selection and newer releases. There's usually someone working in the beauty department to help you and ring you up. Drugstore makeup doesn't have testers so it's helpful to have an employee help you instead of being a jerk and opening up makeup and ruining it for someone else who would have purchased it. I hate people who open up sealed makeup and test it and make a mess. Sometimes it does benefit you to make your beauty purchases in the department because I got some free product samples once. Having a Walgreens Wellness card is beneficial too. It's free to join and you earn points from every purchase. Sometimes certain items give bonus/ extra points. I'm sure you could do it on desktop too, but in the Walgreens app you can browse coupons and perks to virtually clip to your card so when your card gets scanned it automatically uses them. Rewards can be redeemed starting at 5,000 points ($5 off). It's not hard to accumulate points because more often then not they have point multiplier promotions going on (you just have to activate it) like 5x points. read more

The whole hour process started with a phone call making an appointment for a flu shot and two other shots I needed for work... I was able to make the flu shot no problem online for my son and I made a phone call for my appointment because I needed more than one vaccine (Flue,Varicella,Hep B) they said I can only make the flue online and I could just walk in and tell them I needed the other two.. so I show up ti my appointment and they say no I have to make an appointment online. I try to make the appointment with the app It has it listed as an option however it doesn't let me actually make an appointment.. so I show the pharmacy supervisor that it won't let me and she said oh then you have to call.. so I call right then and there.. and the lady says you can make it online is the only way ... so the lady in the front was helpful but the supervisor contradicted herself... I know we're all busy and this is a busy time of the year... But even when my son got his shot it bounced off his skin and the injection went all over his shirt... The pharmacist was like oh oops and nothing was done after that... I'm a Nurse in a local hospital so I know the process of all this.. not to mention there were other people that were blown off while I was there ... Super difficult.. I will never go back to Walgreens for anything again... if you can't even give a shot the right way... what else are you going to mess up on? I went down to Rite Aid and boom talked to someone everyone was smiling and happy signed a paper nobody blew me off she check if she had the vaccine first before the process even started and super easy..... read more

I was under the impression that a drive thru was for faster service! Also this place has sent me messages saying that my prescription is delayed for a few days and then when I call to find out what's going on they say they can't order it or have no idea when they're going to get any. Would've been nice to know 4 days ago. After the lady today refused to tell me if they had the medication so I could have my doctor call it in I will never go here again. I came for a free covid drive thru test and I couldn't get one even though I had an appointment. I don't have insurance. The lady working at the pharmacy proceeded to tell me I have insurance when I know have no insurance. I just got a test done in Friday twice from another Walgreens location and had no problem. She proceeded to tell me that I was going to get charged 100 and something for my test. Which doesn't matter if I get billed. Just give me the test, I'll worry about MY BILL when it comes. The staff at the location on Palm and Shaw allowed a person to enter the store without a mask. It wasn't an oversight, the person asked and the staff gave explicit permission. The person entered with another adult that was wearing a mask. This other person probably could have done both of their shopping but the unmasked person was allowed anyway. I received a text saying my prescription was ready to be picked up, but when I arrived, I was told they didn't have the order. When they checked again, I was told my prescription was on back-order and was asked if a different manufacturer would be acceptable. I reluctantly said that would be fine. I was then told they would need to contact my doctor to approve the change. Since I came on a Saturday, I will now have to wait a few more days. I would give negative stars if I could. This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to. When there are issues with your script they won't contact you, you are supposed to just figure it out. I have an authorization and a prescription for a medication and they refuse to fill it because "they aren't sure" like... are you effin' serious? It's outlined for you for crying out loud. A second prescription I have they keep faxing information over to the WRONG number. I literally had to call the dr. then go to the counter and have the drs office give them the fax number over the phone. She assured me she would fax it right then! A week later.... Never faxed. How incompetent and frankly negligent. It's a different worker and pharmacist every single freaking time but they all have one crap attitude in common! I get the "short staffed" explanation but after a week of hearing it... it's old. After four weeks of hearing the same lines and hearing the same mistake and same misunderstanding ... the company is just garbage. I've been thinking of changing for a long time just over their general crap attitudes when they come to the window but I keep putting it off since I'm around the corner. Nope. Not anymore. My Dr Ordered a prescription for me on Wednesday afternoon, I called about 4 pm to see if it was ready and someone told that they were working on it so I waited till 6;30 to go, I waited in line for about 10 min to be told that it wouldn't be ready till 10:AM next day! So I went back today Thursday at 2:30 it was not ready!!! I got mad not feeling well, pharmacist told me to sit down and he would get it ready! I got it way after 3pm read more
