My family and and some family friends was headed back from a day at the Newport aquarium back to Lousiville when our friend had told us about these chains that we don't have in Lousiville so we decided to check them out. I mean a gas station/Ice cream parlor combo? We don't have those in Lousiville but we were intrigued by the concept. The parlor is legit a full fledged Ice cream front that offers serval flavors, cone types, sundaes and shakes. For some reason I was expecting like 3-4 flavors and a small area. They actually had there own little area with dining room tables as well. Between my family of 7 and our friends who is a family of 6 we sampled the flavors pretty well. We got everything from a banana split to ice cream flavors of mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, mocha, cotton candy and peanut butter. We all mainly stuck to a two scoop cone which was massive. They do some friendly sized scoops and stack them high. All of us were satisfied with our ice cream choices and enjoyed them. I personally got a the mint chocolate chip with a chocolate dipped cone. Very good and very filling. Overall what a cool concept. Had a full service gas station and mini mart that shared the space and the employees. It would be cool to see this franchise ventures down the road 90 minutes or so here to Lousiville.

The Beer cooler. You will have to climb over boxes, crates of water, trash to get to what you want. I I don't think the floor in this location has been washed in years. Door has been broken for close to a year. Trash bins, overflowing, so just done away with at doors. Entry carpets done away with too. A basic caution floor wet sign is thrown out. Totally embarrassing Speedway. We expect better! There is a new Wawa going in down the street. Clean up your act, or hey, get out.

It's a fine enough location..they usually have in stock the things I stop there for. The store itself is kinda run down. Just seems like an older location that perhaps hasn't been as maintained as much as it could've been. It's always extremely busy during peak morning hours (7-9) but the staff they have on is usually pretty good at keeping the line moving and getting you on your way. They are always pleasant as well. Overall a decent location that I will more than likely continue to stop at when I'm in the area.

Growing up in Florence, I've been to this Walgreens many times, once even late on Christmas Eve…read morewhen we realized we had forgotten to get someone a present. This Walgreens was the only spot open. So I was pleasantly surprised to see its transformation as a Kroger pick-up spot, which means it now has a modest produce section as well. It's also bright and clean. It looks like the rest of the store has undergone a makeover as well. The staff wore masks, and there was signage urging people who are unvaccinated to wear masks too. I wish everyone still had to wear masks, but oh well. About half of the customers I saw wore masks. My opinion of this Walgreens has definitely improved. I bet I will be stopping in again soon when I'm back in town to visit family.
