It's not busy today, but the coffee area is filthy, coffee beans are empty, whole milk for coffee is empty, not paper towels in hand wash station, prepared food area is under stocked, coffee prep area is filthy, most napkin dispensers are empty - other than that, it's fine. read more

Just visited for a gas & bathroom run on the drive home from Riverbend. It was the first time I've ever been greeted hello & goodbye from the cashier across the store. The bathrooms were SO nice & clean! I will always stop at a pilot when i can for future trips. read more

Everything especially the bathrooms. With 2 stalls, it was filthy. Very pissy and very nasty.

Calling this a "travel center" is deceptive. It is a barely functioning gas station. Gas pumps do not dispense receipts. No running water inside, no working restrooms, SubWay shop not operating. Avoid this Pilot. read more

Pilot Travel Center - Pilot - Gas Stations Near Me - Walton, Kentucky

This Pilot is smaller than some of the bigger Travel Centers and is more like a Pilot convenience store. Despite it's smaller size, it still has a reasonably good selection of merchandise, snacks and beverages. It also has a Subway store attached. As with most Pilot Travel Centers, it was clean, well organized and well lite. The restrooms were also clean. read more

Worst Pilot I have ever seen. Should not be a truck stop at all. DO NOT stop here. No parking no where to even get out of the way to go inside and get a scale ticket. When you come off the scales you are in the middle of the road. This is should be classified as your typical run down convenience store, not a truck stop read more

Not the typical Pilot Travel Center that I am used to stopping at. This location is smaller, and is more like a normal convenience store gas station. Nice selection of snacks, drinks, and other merchandise for travelers. Restroom was pretty clean too. Gas prices are definitely cheaper than California! If you find yourself in this part of Kentucky, then this Pilot Travel Center is a good place to stop at. read more

Smallest Pilot Travel Center ever and should be just a gas station. The bathrooms were closed. The grills were closed. Subway is closed. The place is falling apart. I recommend if you just need gas that is fine but the machine has no paper to print receipts. If you need anything else go somewhere else. And if you have enough fuel, keep going and get gas at the KY Speedway, gas is even cheaper. read more

They have discount signs in the store then when you try to buy the discounted items they say I'm sorry that sale ended 2-3 week ago. Will not honor the sign. read more

My co-driver just said, "There are plenty of stupid people out there." He's right. The Subway staff members here need to either be replaced OR retrained in common sense and customer service. When it comes to customer experience, the Subway in this Pilot fell far short. I'm a trucker, hauling necessities like toilet paper, dog food, and hand sanitizer across America. I'm a nice guy who follows the rules, drives the speed limit, treats people with goodness and respect, and foes all that with a measure of common sense. I suffer through the abominable food served up for truckers across America. Plus, I can't ingest gluten. I eat at Subway a lot. Salads only (because of the bread gluten thing). I commonly ask for a large cup, instead of a salad bowl. My kitchen table is the front seat of an 18 wheeler. There is no place to set down a takeout salad bowl from Subway. I ALWAYS ask for and receive my tuna salad order at Subway in a large plastic cup. Works well for me in the truck. I can place it in the drink holder when I need to set down the best meal I ever get on the road. I'm away from home 4-6 weeks at a time. Work 7 days a week. One of the very bright spots in my week is the 3 or 4 times weekly I get to enjoy a Subway salad. It's been a few days. I just pulled into this Pilot in Walton, Kentucky on Richmond Road #278 (Subway location # 15079) and, with a watering mouth, I ordered a salad. The young girl there said she couldn't make a salad because they were out of takeout salad bowls. I told her not to worry because I always get my tuna salads in the plastic cup. I explained why and told her that everywhere I go I get it in a plastic cup. All across America. She said to me she can't do that. I said but they take care of me everywhere else like that and she responded with a question... "Have you gotten it in a cup at this location before? " I told her no and she said, well I don't think we could do that. Then she looked at her fellow staff member who was working at the register. He gave her a deer in the headlights look and said nothing. I politely said, "Well, I guess I'm not going to eat lunch today." and walked away. Another customer couldn't believe how I was treated. I went to the cooler and bought a protein drink. It tasted nasty, and probably isn't very good for me. I am very disappointed in the reception and the response I received at that Subways location. Before my Trucking days I spent many years in customer service in retail locations. I know, if there's a way to treat customers and accommodate their needs (is reasonable and possible), while meeting the needs of the company, i it should be done. I might've even paid more for a plastic cup, but was never given the option. I suggest the franchisee or corporate owners either decide to hire smarter people that are willing to accommodate customer needs, especially during these trying times. Truck drivers are hauling necessities in horrible conditions most of the time, but especially now during the pandemic. Food is hard to get, rest stops are closed, and we're often hauling loads containing things everyone needs, including us, but we can't park and run into stores to get them. Meals are a good example. There are a whole lot of appreciative kind people out there who show us kindness. The snippy girl in this Subway isn't one of them. I find Subways in Love's far more friendly and accommodating. read more

I'm a professional driver I reserved a shower by app today and I walk in there's someone in my shower they gave my shower to someone else I don't recommend to this place to anyone it's waste of time read more

Very irritated, I came in today. STACEY "& I know this name because I heard the man call her this" was slow as ever taking the man's order in front of me, because she was extra busy gossiping. I understand if you know someone and or want to be personal but it would be nice if you didn't make your other customers wait to be served before you get into deep conversation and gossip. I got out of line and just left. Do better! Your job is your job. Act like it! read more

I've been a fan of Pilot's ever since I did a couple road trips and these were the only clean stations in the area. This particular one had cheaper gas than the station across the street, so no brainer. The music playing over the PA was, I kid you not, Kris Kross' Jump! See: http://youtu.be/010KyIQjkTk for you youngsters that weren't privy to such early 90's rappers. Like many Pilots, there is a Subway inside so you can get a somewhat healthy bite to eat as you embark on your next epic journey. Take it easy and drive safe. read more
