I have to say I am a little sad writing this review. In previous years I have always given the CVS Pharmacy on North Texas 5 stars due to their excellent customer service. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Due to staffing changes, it now barely a 2. I have encountered rude, brusque attitudes as well as impatience. I actually had someone huff and puff when I put 4 items on the counter to be rung up along with my prescription. I did let CVS know about my treatment and how I saw others being treated. The shift manager who refused to give me her name because she didn't know me(?????) Is the rudest person to be dealing with the public (older blonde lady with short bob hair cut) printed out my cupons (on the kios they provide in store) did my shopping and got in line the manager said u can do self check out I said oh I have cupons perviosly I have had issues with self check out better with a person as soon as the cashier walked up she says notty she has cupons giggled and walked to self check out sked the cashier if they price check she said she wasn't sure she would ask a manager the manager came over and said they don't price match website (ok what ever right ..) she walks around starts pressing buttons and the price went up I noticed she was voiding my cupons I said hey wait your voiding the cupons she said no im not im trying to help you I took time out of my day to help you maybe you shouldn't be allowed to shop here I said wait a minute how did we get to this extreme she cancels my transaction and said get back in line since she has magic fingers I guess the cashier by that time I threw some of them away because they handed them back to me idk why now 5 new people are in line I went back to kios to reprint you can't so I asked can u open the trash can I threw them in she said no so I had to dig through the hole most embarrassing moment ever. I end up getting back in line and waited again by this time I now have less cupons because i don't know where she put some I paid and I will be going in to speak with store manager. I forgot to get her name I called back she answered saying she doesn't know who I am so she's not giving her name again your a manager the way you treat paying customers if someone asks you your name you should be able to give that. I feel so bad for the cashier to have a manager like that. I'll be back to talk to store manager but they lost a customer for sure until that lady is fired horrible she should be ashamed at they way she acts. read more

I hate to give this pharmacy even 1 star. Raleys pharmacy across the street closed last fall, and all my Mom's and my prescriptions transferred automatically to CVS at this location. It was difficult to get a hold of them to refill the first scrip Mom needed. Long time on hold. When it did come in, it was 3x the price on copay that Raleys was. They seemed unconcerned and so what? This is our price. I then had to stand in line for consult to ask the question - how much are all the other 10 prescription copays? After waiting 45 minutes in line, I was told - we cannot tell you that until we fill the prescription and run it through insurance. Couldn't the first person tell me that? Then I asked why it was not delivered to my Mother - as they have a delivery service to her senior community. I had been told when I placed the order it would be set up as delivery. They told me I had to stand in another line to ask that. Again, other line. Get a boy who said - sure we deliver - should be easy. Another woman said NO! That is a pay for service and she tossed a brochure over. I asked how much. The boy did not know. I went on line, found the pharmacy app, signed up. No delivery info. Called, placed on hold. Gave up. Called, placed on hold. 50 minutes later a person came on. Said it cost $100 a year. Again - no info as to where to find that. Just go to CVS.com they said. I told my mom's doctor to transfer all the medicines over to Raleys on Travis. Oh, they answer the phone. They also deliver to her senior community for FREE. And the copays are drastically less than CVS. And no waiting in huge 45 minute lines! Now, CVS is calling and calling my Mom saying a refill is ready for pick up. I told them we were never using them again back in November. WHY ARE THEY STILL CALLING MY MOTHER MONTHS LATER??? I do recommend NEVER going to this store. They don't care, they don't know anything, the customer service is non existent. And while you stand in line you can observe all the young ladies shoplifting the hair care and cosmetics in a group. That happened twice. Horrible store, horrible service. Horrible experience. read more

I get here to get a prescription. I've gotten prescriptions from here before so I'm not sure why they need my insurance information again. She says it will be ready in 20 min. So I decide to just walk around the store till it's ready. I get up to the counter and she goes actually the pharmacist went to lunch. He won't be back for 45 min. I was already there. Are you serious? Like thanks for not helping. I can't believe that someone would be ok with that when I am in pain waiting for medications. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I would give this place a 0 if I could. Do not go to this pharmacy for your prescriptions, especially if you need them to be filled by a decent time! I've dropped off 2 prescriptions there and every single time, they either didn't have the prescription drug available, which I understand that happens at times, but it was an Epi pen! They offered to transfer my prescription over to another pharmacy that would have it, which was fine, but once it came time to they never got around to doing it AND when I had rite-aid call them to check they didn't answer their phones. I called again and was on hold for over 20 minutes, and still no one answered. I had to drive down there just to get someone to transfer my prescription over. I decided to give them a try the second time and this time it was just as bad. I had my husband drop off a prescription around noon and he asked when they should be available and the pharmacist said not until around 8pm since they were short staffed. So he asked if they would be able to fill one, which was the most important since I was having severe allergic hives and needed the steroids only, they said they would try and have that one by 4 (thank goodness). Four came around and they did have that one available, then 8pm came along and we tried to go pick up the rest and the first pharmacist never put in the rest of the prescription...really?! I came here because they had a drive thru and with a baby it was more convenient, or so I thought, but honestly I rather drive somewhere else and be able to get the medication I need in a decent and timely matter. I was at the register at 9:55pm tonight and the manger was turning the lights off. Tacky CVS, just tacky. The one start you received from me was because Yelp requires it and the cashier was fantastic. As I exited the manager had the auto door off and was standing at the exit to prevent anyone from entering. He proceeded to say good night as he barely lifted his eyes up from his cell phone. I have been going to this pharmacy for about 2 years. In an age an time when customer service in America is depleting by the second, this store and staff are the exception. I prefer going to this store above all other stores in this area. Even though, they are a franchise, the staff are EXCELLENT. They always greet me by name, always helpful, and if there is more than three people in line they call for back up. Most of the staff have been there several years and appear to be happy. The specials are great and the staff are willing to point out the promotions to save you money. Customer service is the key for the store. I highly recommend you do business with this store in particular. You will not be disappointed. read more

My daughter was placed on antibiotics for 10 days for an ear infection. When I got to day 8 of the prescription I was out (equivalent of 40ml missing). Called CVS and they told me it couldn't possibly be a mistake on their part. I administered all the medication myself and it was certainly a mistake on their part and makes me wonder if my daughter had been taking a more concentrated dose than she should have (I'm thinking it wasn't mixed with enough liquid). I now have to call the doctor to see how to proceed as they refused to reissue the last 40ml that was missing. They have lost my business. read more

Do not use their on-line photo or Christmas card service! I sent in a photo file and asked for 5x7 copies. Their "system" cropped the tops of our head off, and the bottom of all the Happy Holiday's lettering at the bottom. No warning, just went a head and printed of $70 worth of cards that were all badly cropped. When I took them back and asked them to do them again, I was told they had no control over how "the system" sets up the photos for print. Hard to believe since Kinkos, Costco, and many other provide the same service and also provide proofs to avoid such mistakes. When I asked for a refund, the told me they couldn't unless I went all the way home, printed out a copy of the email confirmation of my order, and brought that back to them. That's an hour round trip for me, just to get a simple refund. Just sound's like "we don't really want to help you, please stop bothering us" to me. read more

Its a good store especially if you're a club card member because you get to use your coupons. But,,, the staff there really sucks! They are not friendly and it seems like they always have their personal issue and they get to bring it to their workplace. I just went there this early morning and an old tall grumpy with long gray hair lady was assisting me about the ads. She couldn't find what im looking for that was on the ads. She was showing me different items. So i asked her again and she said with annoying voice "honey, i just showed you". But when i showed her the picture again, she told "oh, i see what you mean!".....dah!!! And she silently agreed that its not there and then leave me. Sorry, that i didnt say thank you for the time she spent but i guess she really doesnt deserve it. I feel sorry for these people who grew up but didnt learn to find happiness in their lives. I guess its not good to go there when they just open the store in the morning because this is not the first time that their employee had an issue. The last time i had problem was i ended up talking to the manager about her attitude. So i suggest to not go there early morning if you want to have a good start of a day! read more

The pharmacy staff is very good and helpful. The non-pharmacy aspect is good. Their liquor specials are better than bevmo and come close to costco for "well" drink liquors. read more
