I understand that they were closing @ noon for Christmas but my called me from their door step right at noon & told me no one was answering the door or phone. I can't believe NO ONE was there to come to the door! My son was in pain! I was able to get in touch with our dr & have him resend the script to CVS where we were able to pick it up 20 min later! I try to support local, small businesses but thi gs like this make it hard. When I was young we had a mom & pop pharmacy who would open up (the back door) for customers to get meds in an emergency after hours.

It was a Saturday and the pharmacy was the only place that could do it for me. They charged me 5 dollars for 5 copies, I vowed that I would never go there again. Fast forward 6 years later honeybrook pharmacy closed and Ben the pharmacist is working there I was told so I would go there as Ben was exceptionally good at his job.after my wife and I went to our doctors we had all our scripts sent there.we called on Tuesday afternoon and spoke to someone who sounded like they were halfdead.waited forever on hold and finally found our scripts. I asked them to order the meds and I would be in the following day to pick them up. But they wouldn't order them until I gave them all my insurance info. Unfortunately I couldn't find it right then but didn't want another day to pass without ordering the meds, Between my wife and myself we spend around 5 thousand dollars on meds yearly and that doesn't count what my insurance pays. Needless to say one phone call to the pharmacy we are currently using and the meds were ordered and I had them the next day. I also found out that Ben doesn't work there anymore. My point is I tried to keep my business local and instead of just ordering the meds and worrying about insurance info later they refused to do anything. That is the second and last time you will turn me away I will frequent other pharmacy and spend my money there it's a wonder that you are still in business you lost thousands of dollars by turning me away YOUR LOSS

My copay was $1, unfortunately I was 28 cents short and was not able to use my card due to the $5 minimum. I was told to eaither add items or go to an atm and come back. I explained I needed my medication and didn't have any extra money until payday. I was basically scolded by the pharmacist after asking if the insurance would waive it. I had to drive away because I was wasting gas sitting there getting nowhere being made to feel like crap for not having 28 cents! Rather then them being a good human and understanding that I've been a long standing customer and even just loaning it to me until I swing by again which would be in a week. They made a customer feel less then, in a time when they could have chose the high road and had a different review.

Acme Sav-on has been on our list of preferred providers for local pharmacies every time (along with other local pharmacies). We have opted to stay with them each time we have changed.
