I get to use my employee discount. Different assortment of items that come in handy. Cashier had two guys and they were very humorous.

But, this week, they did not have in stock 2 of the 3 series rx's I was prescribed. They had the final, but can't take it without taking the first two. Told first two would arrive yesterday after 3pm. called this morning, nope, not arrived. Maybe in 2 more days, provided it was ordered for delivery. Never communicated to me throughout about status of order. I agree with another reviewer here, women in pharmacy who answered my two phone querieswere crabby and impatient. Next time I have an Rx, I'll try Walgreens.

More recently, I went to pick up a prescription and I attempted to enter my phone number in order to benefit from the 5 prescription purchase 20% discount on food in the store, but the person behind the counter closed out the transaction. I asked her if that would affect my registration of the purchase for the purpose of getting the rewards associated with the purchase, and she told me that it wouldn't. Then I asked the store manager, and he told me that this was not true. I went back to the pharmacy and they finally gave me the voucher as well as another card in order to keep track of the purchases. I had to argue to get this. Then I was told by the pharmacist that people on government assistance can't use it and that's why I wasn't offered the promotion. I am not on government assistance and I believe this is a type of discriminatory profiling. Shame on Jewel-Osco for having employees who are that stupid.

Specially the younger one (Diana). While this concept of getting medication on lower prices (as opposed to our American greedy price gouging pharmacies are ) is appealing and a great idea, but, there's nothing appealing to do business with these two self hating unattractive women! it is the most depressing and unfriendly place to do business. One of the women, the older one with the heavy Russian accent is a tiny bit more willing to help, only if she can get her ass off her chair and computer screen. But the other one (Diana), seems to be the one who runs the place (at least it looks like it) is a VUTURE in every sense of the word. Unhappy, no manners and nothing graceful about her. Certainty, doing business with them makes an extremely unpleasant experience!!! I would avoid going to this place, at any cost!

The automated phone system, however, is painful to navigate. I know this isn't unique to CVS but companies need to stop putting up roadblocks to service for important, healthcare related matters. Not this time. Fine. I go back get my sodas which were labeled as $2.79 or 2 for $5. Okay. I'll get 2. For $5. I go to check out and there is not a soul around at the registers or the self checkout kiosks. Okay, fine. I'll use the self checkout even though I hate those things which seem to enjoy accusing me of stealing because their AI is incompetent. I scan my sodas and they show up as $2.79, with no discount. Okay, I guess I have to hit Finish. I hit Finish. No change. I look around for a store employee and none is to be found. I walk all the way back to the soda section and take a picture of the prices so I can come back and get my discount. I do that and go to the register where now there is a clerk, who was probably only there because they had to reset the self-checkout kiosk that I left in the middle of a transaction when I went to check the price. I was told that you have to get all the way to the end of the checkout for it to show you the discount. I guess I didn't tell it how many bags I wanted so it wasn't able to show me the correct prices. Because those are related somehow. Of course, they didn't even have any bags at that kiosk. So, that's a fail right there. A bag would have been nice. This is ridiculous. Show me the price when I'm checking out. Is that so hard? Gas stations can handle it. They scan 2 sodas and the discount shows up right away. Or do you just want to have some big "You saved this much" at the end of the transaction because some marketing idiot thought that would have more of a psychological impact than simply showing me the correct price when I'm scanning my items? This experience pissed me off. I walked all the way back to the cooler and took a picture of the price tag because your stupid kiosk wasn't able to show me the price I was paying until I am all the way at the end of the transaction. Which I thought pressing "Finish" was for. I hate these self-checkout kiosks. You couldn't even have a person at the register to help if someone needed help, like I did. Instead, I wasted my time when I was in a hurry. Goodbye. You've lost me as a customer.
