They've told me I can bring her in, but I usually opt out because you never know who is scared of dogs. However, if I have a prescription pickup, I'll just stroll to the drive-thru with her and get it there. But I didn't realize that they don't have the electronic option to do Google Wallet, so I had to come in because I don't often carry cash on me. I usually see the same guy and pay by debit card, but I forgot it this time. So they told me I could come in and I did. The pharmacist at the register was different than the one at the window, and I quickly got my prescription. But the window pharmacist for some odd reason left the window, opened the door and had a dog treat in her hand. I usually opt out of allowing my dog to be fed by strangers and she gains weight too fast from store-bought treats, but the pharmacist looked so excited about it that I gave in. I never saw the bag of dog treats, which made me wonder why in the world pharmacists have dog treats behind the counter, but to each her own. She gave my dog the treat, and I allowed my dog to come forward. The problem is after she gave my dog the treat, my dog turned toward me to eat it (with her back to the pharmacist). And before I could stop her, the pharmacist reached down and just grabbed the back of my dog to pet her. I was startled. It is a TERRIBLE and DANGEROUS idea to grab a dog from behind. Even a friendly dog hates that. Always let a dog sniff your hand and come toward you before you try to pet them above their head. A dog could snap and bite you for doing that for the exact same reason no human being should walk up to another human and just ruffle their hair or grab their butt. It's so weird to me how some people react to dogs. It's too aggressive. Luckily, my dog just jumped and moved slightly away. I moved forward while my dog ate the treat and swiftly left the store. I will never allow my dog to be around that pharmacist again because she didn't even ask for permission to touch my dog. That's a liability case waiting to happen. I've never had that experience before and definitely won't let it happen again. Dog-less, though, it's a pretty easy place to shop in.

I'll use the self checkout even though I hate those things which seem to enjoy accusing me of stealing because their AI is incompetent. I scan my sodas and they show up as $2.79, with no discount. Okay, I guess I have to hit Finish. I hit Finish. No change. I look around for a store employee and none is to be found. I walk all the way back to the soda section and take a picture of the prices so I can come back and get my discount. I do that and go to the register where now there is a clerk, who was probably only there because they had to reset the self-checkout kiosk that I left in the middle of a transaction when I went to check the price. I was told that you have to get all the way to the end of the checkout for it to show you the discount. I guess I didn't tell it how many bags I wanted so it wasn't able to show me the correct prices. Because those are related somehow. Of course, they didn't even have any bags at that kiosk. So, that's a fail right there. A bag would have been nice. This is ridiculous. Show me the price when I'm checking out. Is that so hard? Gas stations can handle it.
