But, this week, they did not have in stock 2 of the 3 series rx's I was prescribed. They had the final, but can't take it without taking the first two. Told first two would arrive yesterday after 3pm. called this morning, nope, not arrived. Maybe in 2 more days, provided it was ordered for delivery. Never communicated to me throughout about status of order. I agree with another reviewer here, women in pharmacy who answered my two phone querieswere crabby and impatient. Next time I have an Rx, I'll try Walgreens.

More recently, I went to pick up a prescription and I attempted to enter my phone number in order to benefit from the 5 prescription purchase 20% discount on food in the store, but the person behind the counter closed out the transaction. I asked her if that would affect my registration of the purchase for the purpose of getting the rewards associated with the purchase, and she told me that it wouldn't. Then I asked the store manager, and he told me that this was not true. I went back to the pharmacy and they finally gave me the voucher as well as another card in order to keep track of the purchases. I had to argue to get this. Then I was told by the pharmacist that people on government assistance can't use it and that's why I wasn't offered the promotion. I am not on government assistance and I believe this is a type of discriminatory profiling. Shame on Jewel-Osco for having employees who are that stupid.

They always have an awesome sale on chocolates from the holidays. The shampoo and conditioner are always well stocked. It's always been a pleasure shopping here, on the way into the city. CVS is really the premiere pharmacy focused company. I can see why they gained so much of the market, while their competitors close their stores.

On too many occasions, my prescription wasn't ready when it was supposed to be, and it felt like they didn't actually start processing my prescription until I came to pick it up. The store itself is a good supermarket, but the pharmacy part just hasn't been very reliable for me. Overall, it works for basic needs, but I've learned not to rely on the pharmacy for prescriptions without calling to confirm first.

I was quite surprised by their wine selection and I was even more surprised that an entire section was 75 percent off. Yes, that's right - 75 percent off!! It was a Spring cleaning day and they had to make room for their shipment. I jumped on Binny's site to do a quick price comparison and confirmed that these bottles were dirt cheap. The prescriptions are very shoddy. I called in a prescription for a patient and instead of filling the prescription I called in they filled it with al older prescription from EPIC. Caveat Emptor.
