This is for the CVS in Ocean Ranch Village at the intersection of Golden Lantern and Camino Del Avion streets. I have been going here for years because it is the closest to my home, but I won't be going back. The pharmacy in the back is too small and cramped so when there are long lines it is uncomfortable. There have been several mix ups with my prescriptions. During my recent visit the pharmacist was rude and condescending. I went to another CVS pharmacy and the physical atmosphere (ie way less crowded) and the helpfulness of the desk clerk and pharmacist were so much better. The second CVS I went to gets 5 stars from me, but this one gets only two stars. read more

This is absolutely the worst CVS in So Cal. There is always a long line to pick up RXs and the staff is rude and could not even attempt to care less than they do if they tried. My insurance requires that I use CVS and I hate going in there every time. I've used other locations in the past that were fine, but this one is terrible. read more

This is only in regards to the pharmacy, I went in to pick up 3 prescriptions only to be told I wasn't in the system, and to wait and they'd try to look me up again (I've been coming to CVS for years) and then after getting back in line and waiting they told me to go to the drop off window where the woman was exceptionally rude, once she found my medications, she told me 30 to 45 minutes, I had to return 2 hours later only to be told it would be another 45 minutes to an hour, and that was if they had them but they "probably would". I would understand if the wait time was consistent and would have had a lot more patience if the woman wasn't so incredibly rude. The two people in front of me got the same poor treatment and both were visibly upset as well. Very poor service and I will not be returning. read more

I agree with the low ratings on the particular CVS. There is zero communication here. I waited about a half an hour for the pharmacist to "approve" my prescriptions. This was due to the fact that prior to my arrival there was no insurance and then I gave them my insurance and they said it would be about 5mins to check it off. 30 mins later I'm still waiting and if I didn't get up and ask I would have still been waiting. It comes down to communication. You can't run a successful business with zero communication and upsetting patients. Just not the way to do things. read more

Unfortunately, this my nearest and most convenient pharmacy. However, the pharmacy is horribly disorganized. I have received text telling me prescription is ready, but when I arrive, it isn't. They often cannot locate already filled prescriptions. Is alphabetizing really that hard? Most unnerving, I regularly buy a specific Ambien generic. I have told them many times (20+) about my preferred manufacturer but they consistently get it wrong. I have tried everything to rectify. This inevitably wastes 20-30 minutes of my time, or worse if I don't notice until I get home. GO SOMEWHETE ELSE WHETE THEY ARE CONPETENT TO FILL PRESCRIPTIONS CORRECTLY! read more

I enjoy going to this store, everyone is super helpful and nice. The manager, Bryan, is one of the kindest person ever, very helpful, very friendly and very cheery. I go to CVS's all over south orange county every month. I recently tried to go to this CVS and the parking was a total nightmare. I never mind walking a bit to get to a store after I can find a place, but after ten minutes of driving in circles I said forget it and drove over to the CVS on Crown Valley and PCH and found tons of parking spaces. They need to do something about the parking problem in that center. read more

Best CVS in the Orange County area. All staff were uniquely helpful. MK was the manager on duty and was so helpful and friendly regarding all of my questions concerning the merchandise. I was here earlier. I usually goto the CVS off PCH, 1 mile the opposite direction, but I was just at Ralphs and thought I'd stop by and get a last minute Christmas card & stocking stuffers, big mistake! This is a smaller CVS so the selection is smaller, no big deal. The employees were great, except for the manager, Mr. Mike Wilson. He was openly very rude and condescending to the two employees in front of me. I can understand that it's the holidays but degrading employees in front of customers wasn't cool. I love CVS , and this CVS is no exception, though I do prefer the CVS on PCH as it's twice as big and the manager there has been there for years and if he's at the door, he'll greet you :) read more

I love this CVS. Love it. I live nearby and go here frequently. I've only experienced friendly, helpful service from the people who work here. There is a great selection of cosmetics and household goods. They have great coupons if you sign up with your phone number. And use the app. I use another pharmacy just because when we moved here that's where we landed. But I did use CVS once when my pharmacy was out of the medicine and the CVS pharmacist was very helpful. read more

If you do not want to work in a profession where you have to deal with people this is the last place for you to be working.. all of the people at the pharmacy are extremely rude and judge mental... it is not for you to wonder or give looks to people as to why they take the medications they do.. they are very slow in addition to their unprofessional conduct. Very dissatisfied with the service I have received at this CVS. When I call they almost always put me on long holds well over 5 minutes. Went in the other night and no one even acknowledged me standing and waiting to drop off my RX even though I was in plain view of the staff. I waited close to 10 minutes before they came over. They have lost my RX in their computer systems after calling me to ask me questions about it. I moved to Monarch Beach 2 years ago, hence had to choose a CVS close to my home. So I chose the location at 32575 Golden Lantern in the Ocean Ranch Shopping Center and regrettably find that CVS to offer the worst customer service. Pharmacy staff is very rude, slow and clueless- a real bad combo for a service-oriented business. CVS is my local pharmacy. I have been there a few times. The best service is that someone at the front register always says hello or Good Morning when you enter. The pharmacy is hit or miss. Just had Fontaine, the pharmacist go out of her way to consult me with new meds, very concerned and caring. 5 Stars for her! Heidi the pharmacy tech is truly wonderful, respectful, compassionate and efficient. Cathy who is always there is really a case. She can be rude, disrespectful and moody. She definitely has an attitude. I can guess why, she has been there a long time. She seems stressed but definitely "knows her stuff" She has knowledge of the whole store. The problem is her attitude and she is grumpy and has a definite attitude. When I am not feeling well, I truly can't tolerate it. I think she does the brunt of the work but that is no reason to take her attitude out at others or talk down to people. I tolerate because it is my closest pharmacy. read more

I used to use this pharmacy years ago and they were wonderful - but in recent events - they are horrible... horrible... horrible... and beyond RUDE!!!! If I could attach my voice mail from Cathy that I received about a prescription being ready I would. It was horrible. I just called now and after being hung up on 4 times before I could speak to someone, both Cathy and the last lady were horrible. They want to blame their actions and attitude and horrible customer service on things they can control but don't want to admit. They seem very short staffed and beyond unorganized. They need to remember out of all the people they are supposed to be help and be respectful - one of their customers may have just been given a life changing diagnosis and they should have more compassion or get out of this type of work. read more

Tried to get flu shot here today. Took 45 minutes. Try anywhere else. Takes 45 minutes to get thru paperwork; 15 secs to get actual shot.

we were visiting from FL when my son had an ear infection. The urgent care gave us 2 prescriptions that I tried to fill here. The pharmacist had trouble with my insurance card and kept trying and trying to resolve it. I offered to pay directly but the cost would have been over $200 for one item! The super woman named Fontanye interceded and figured out that there was a computer glitch and worked through the insurance company issues and got my scripts filled. I am very appreciative that she worked so hard to help me. She even stuck around to make sure my order was filled. Thank you Fontanye!!!!!!!!!!! I'm switching to CVS now. read more
