Probably one of the rudest and poorly managed CVS pharmacies that I have ever dealt with. I initially called to inquire about my prescription and left a voice mail. I missed the return call. After what takes several attempts to get a live person to speak with I finally get ahold of a person in the pharmacy. I told them I was returning a missed call from them. The woman who answered said " We never called you" I asked about my prescription that was called in by my provider several times. The person on the other lone repeatedly refers to me a "hun". She tells me " I don't know what to tell you hun maybe they called into another pharmacy. I spoke to my provider twice and they gave me the number they called and even relistened to their own voice mail message to make sure it was there . The woman just continued to brush me off. I had the worst experience with this pharmacy last night Absolutely rude and unprofessional staff I took my wife from hospital home and I ran to CVS to pick up her medications talked to Jim @ counter he was absolutely rude and didn't want to help with the problem I had with the order he just told me it's 8:30 and we will close soon I called the hospital to correct the order so I can get the medication since my wife was in pain Jim didn't want to deal with it I had the nurse on the phone to clear the order and resend it but Jim didn't want to deal with it Nurse from hospital told me wait she will send it again and will call the pharmacy to make sure to give me the medications since we just left the hospital Hospital called the cvs and lady in the back talked to them I was still waiting now it's 8:50 I asked them what happened Jim told me sorry we closing then I called the hospital again and they told me pharmacist didn't want to help I was beside myself I asked who did they talked to the nurse told me she talked to Kathy I asked who is Kathy .. My husband and I have been customers of this pharmacy since it was Longs Drug store, it's been close to 30 years. In the last year, this pharmacy has gone from a friendly neighborhood store to a rude, uncaring and inept excuse of a pharmacy. Besides being treated rudely, we have been given the wrong medicines, been given the wrong directions for medicines and have been told our prescription would be filled on a certain date only to find out the pharmacy doesn't stock the medicine, and we are not notified. We are switching to the PCH CVS. We have been in their store several times. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. I'm not sure how this pharmacy retains a 4 star rating. My husband and I had a miserable experience. It's Sunday, September 1st and we dropped in for a few items, bringing our own bag. They don't have actual checkers anymore - it's do it yourself checkout. So, I took an item from my bag and scanned it. Nothing. Tried again. Then the screen said help was on the way. A harried CVS representative came up to me, grabbed my items and accused me of doing it all wrong. Apparently you need to set the item on a scale, then scan it. Not intuitive, but OK. Did all that. I was about to put my bag to the left of the scanner when she yelled at me to STOP. If I did that the system would remove all my scanned items, and we'd have to go through it all again. "Where should I put my bag?" I asked. She pointed to the floor. The FLOOR!!! Ridiculous. CVS' self checkout is not intuitive, their reps are rude, and they just lost two customers for life. I've been coming here for years. I noticed a change in the staff and then it improved and that was great but then this person named Tina came and she is a person that probably needs to get a job that doesn't deal with the public. I know other people who had an experience with her, told me she's the worst person to deal with. She doesn't respond to you when you're talking to her, let alone say hello walking by her. If she's restocking and she sees right in front of the registers that people are there, she ignores it until somebody says hey can we get a cash register person. Went to CVS today on golden Lantern and was disappointed they didn't have a staff member at the check out counter. An employee who just walked in said to use the self checkout. Long line there. No one knew out to use the machine so the line got longer. Eventually a staff member came over and pushed all the right buttons to help. I love this pharmacy. They are so incredibly busy all the time YET they still manage to accommodate every particular need I have as quick as they can. I overhear them with other patients as they request specific things like myself and they always do whatever they can to accommodate. They will have a line 10'deep and I usually goes by in a couple minutes. They go above and beyond every time. Cathy and Marjan (the pharmacist) handle all the customers with a smile on their face. These women are doing Gods work. There's also a few younger guys that work there. They are so incredibly nice and friendly. High recommend this pharmacy! read more

Rapidly deteriorating store and service. The do-it-yourself checkout stations do not recognize the special prices. The attendant clerk would not check out the machine or manually check out several customers and myself. The machine would not recognize my CVS card. Something happened to this store. The special tags on the vitamin shelves actually cover up the product. The shelves are not check for items sold out. CVS previously was pretty good, but this one is not on my shopping list any more. A few employees are trying to submit glowing Yelp reviews, but this is just nonsense. By the way, the product that I was going to buy is already half the price on Amazon and about 2/3 the price at Rite-Aid. read more

The pharmacy has some issues with disorganization and an influx of new people, but there are staff that have been here for years and are great. Every time I try to pick up any prescriptions there, it's always a fiasco. The first time, they had gotten my birthday wrong, and tried to say they couldn't release my birth control to me. They can't even fathom how to use GoodRx coupons, & especially the eCoupons. It's like a complete foreign language to them. I sent the eCoupons so that I could take advantage of the free delivery, and not have to deal with them in person. I understand it is FLU season and the whole world seems to be sick but pharmacist and staff did sign up for the job right? Just as an accountant knows tax season is going to be stressful or teachers know the starting Sept will be crazy, don't pharmacies prepare to be busy during flu season? I am new to this pharmacy and on the two times I have been in, the staff is curt, treat guest like cattle, uninformative and rude. I do not write this review without the facts. I walked in, I went to drop off to make sure my prescription was sent over. She sighs, looks over quickly and responds, " I'm not going to get to you for several minutes." She comes back 5 minutes later, asks me why I didn't go to the other line, sighs- looks up my info and says only one med is ready. I reply there is 3. She says, well, don't know and hopes I will leave. I push, and ask to see if they are in que. she sighs, looks again, "yeah- wait 15 minutes." Before I leave the counter, she is already walking away, I ask how will they let me know it will be ready? She answers, "however they contact you." And walks away. I wait 20 minutes, have no idea how they will contact me as I am new to this pharmacy, and then go get in line to pick up. I wait 15 more minutes only to have a different staff member tell me she will expedite now but it will be another 15 minutes. Needless to say, I am sitting here still waiting, sick and frustrated beyond belief- so much so- I can write this review. I will be finding a new pharmacy to bring my business. In the midst of FLU season, I would recommend finding staff with some bedside manner and customer service skills. We the customers are not the enemy. Stop treating people like it. Just to close, I waited an entire hour for prescriptions. The woman who was so incredibly rude to me finally acknowledged my frustration being passed around and asked what I was upset about. It's YOU and how you treated me and how this whole process is treating customers. I watched so many people, most likely more sick than I and yet they were all treated like a burden to the staff. I truly cannot remember a time when the service in the Pharmacy was good. You can almost always walk in there and encounter a problem. I've used them because they are my insurance preferred location near me. They are the consistently the rudest people around. Once again my prescription was not covered (under the "let the old people die so we don't have to pay medicare and Social Security") not CVS's fault to be very clear. I am used to paying the "cash" price for most of my meds. What I really resent about CVS is how they take advantage of the situation and price gouge you because you need what they have. Example: I take two eyedrops. When I started the first one CVS charge me the "cash" price of $250 for a one month supply. I immediately went home and shopped around....I now get them every month for $75. Same thing when the second drop was prescribed...didn't give CVS the chance. Today I went in with a new med...not covered $158 "cash". I did not wait to get it..I came home and started looking around and surprise, surprise....heading out to get it for $40 at Costco and 4 other places were the same. Heck I could have even printed a coupon through GoodRx for $118 to get it at...wait for it......the same CVS that was charging me $158. I realize the picture is much bigger than one little CVS store....but that's another discussion!! So especially to my fellow seniors...lesson learned is instead of having the docs electronically send in a script and having to wrangle getting it transferred somewhere else, get paper scripts from your docs, find out who has the best "cash" price and and won't gouge you. And by the way CVS is not alone. Our "cash" price at Costco for my husbands inhalers were over $450 and now he gets them for $75...due diligence no matter who your "go to"is. Disappointed that when the self check out weight sensor glitched it locked the terminal and I had to wait five minutes for help which never came.
