I had hoped to do the survey but ended up losing my receipt. I wanted to commend Kimberly, an associate who helped me out earlier this month. She was an enormous blessing! First, as I was in self-checkout, she applied a $5 off coupon to my purchase, since she said she needed to test it. A few minutes later, I came back through with another purchase and she offered me another coupon! I had just gotten a 40% off one with my last receipt and said I'd use that instead, but I apparently didn't know how. I fed it into the machine prematurely and Kimberly kindly opened up the machine and retrieved my coupon so we could apply it correctly, without acting at all put out by my mistake. Pharmacy customer service is horrible! The pharmacy tech, Mantel (I believe that was his name, but I may have misspelled it), was helping me, and he made me feel like I was such a burden. He was slamming my insurance card and medications around and had a horrible attitude. No one pissed you off, dude. I just had an experience with a pharmacist named Amedpreet I think her name was. I wanted my pain medicine filled a day earlier than the 20 because I have a back issue and recently broke 2 ribs so I used up all my meds. I asked her if she could fill it earlier than 20 days and she said NO. I have friends and relatives that go to the same pharmacy and they have allowed them to get their medication 28 days. I looked it up online and it said that it is the pharmacist discretion to refill it early but that it can be done 1 to 2 days early. This is the very first time that I have asked them to do this for me. I feel like I am being discriminated against because the other people that told me that they got theirs early or white and I am of Hispanic. I am in the apartment management industry and if we let one person do something then we have to let everybody do something. So why is it that this pharmacist can give some people 28 days and I have to wait all 30 days. read more

It is BEYOND me that a manager would let the ENTIRE pharmacy take their lunch at the same time. As a manger I would let half of the team go on their lunch and then let the other half go once the first half had their lunch. Not saying people shouldn't take their breaks but making it an inconvenience to the people doing business with the us company is ridiculous. I took my lunch to grab my meds and now have to come back later to get them. What is going on with their management??? ***updated*** Every single time I use this pharmacy I regret it. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this location. From management not knowing how to properly off set the lunch schedule so that there is always someone working the counter as well as being extremely unprofessional this place is a headache all around. I've never had such an issue trying to get a prescription refilled in my entire life. I would highly recommend the company do some investigating and QC at this location. The gossiping about customers is pretty rude too. You would think that people wouldn't comment on your medicine or make assumptions about someone that just picked up a particular medication but you would be wrong, especially at this location. read more

I came to CVS in Clovis off Ashlan as I was filling an order for Instacart around March 2021. Inside the shop they were administering the COVID-19 which the store was busy than usual. I really don't come to CVS as I mostly shop at legit stores if I need to and really don't need prescription medications as I go to Kaiser but as a Instacart shopper as my side gig it is nice to shop for other people! Anywho, the store was clean and organized and I felt this location was huge. They had a little bit of everything from clothes, make-up, food, alcohol, medicine and much more. I had to interact with staff a lot due to difficulties locating products or out of stock products. The staff was hands down so helpful and I whole heartedly felt like they wanted to help me out and took their time or even checked their inventory. I was in the store about 30 minutes total which went by fast!! Check out was mostly the longest as there was a line as there we're workers on the floor helping customers and one checking people out. The check out lady was a young girl and we had a lovely conversation on my side gig so it was nice to be helped and hopefully help her too on my personal shopping side hussle. Lastly, I only have positive things to say about this location and definitely would love to go back in a heart beat!! It was nice to go to a different store for a change even though it wasn't for me but definitely will stop in periodically if they have any sales going on!! Make sure to sign up their rewards program! I'm all about saving money and earning points or rewards to save more money!! A win win in my Princess pocket book!! read more

Masks worn by workers and required! I went in to get sweet and lo and laundry detergent. It's very convenient to walk in, get what you need and leave while also looking around a little bit. I walked in and the store is very clean and well taken care of! Great music playing! They have their Easter section up and there's a bunch of great Easter stuff! I spotted the individual Reese's white chocolate packs and had to get one too after picking up the sweet and lo and laundry detergent. They have self check out and I planned on doing that, but it was having issues giving me a discount on the sweet and lo from an attached coupon so the very nice worker said she would be happy to check me out instead. I got the sweet and lo discount at check out and the great worker wished me a good day! They also have deals everywhere as you look around. It's pretty great! =) Fantastic service and store! This pharmacy is terrible. I've been getting the same prescription for the past 16 years and this pharmacy continues to mess with me. This last time was the last straw. I received my medicine and half of the capsules were halfway full. I realize there's nothing I can do because they can simply say that I took some of the medicine or someone close to me took some of my medicine but that's not the case. It just sucks to have something prescribed to you and then they want to cheat you out of your proper dosage. read more

Switching pharmacies from Walgreens because with my new insurance I have to go through CVS... Trying to switch over one medication is not rocket science. I called yesterday morning and CVS said they would take care of everything and it would even be ready for pick up. No calls no text to tell me the med was ready yesterday, hmmmm... so I called today about 4 PM and they have no recollection and no notes of me even being in the system or anything ever happening yesterday then I got hung up on by the pharmacy clerk who said he'll get it done and hung up. I am most irritated that he asked me to spell my name and give them the date of birth then at the end of the call he asked for it again so did he even really take it down in the first place or even look? read more

My experience with this pharmacy was great. I was required by insurance to use CVS for Maintenance meds and when I called, they made the transfer easy and even followed through to be sure everything fit my insurance requirements. Yes, I had to hold and wait to speak to a tech but they were helpful when they got to me. When my husband went to pick my prescriptions, he had only about a 5 minute wait. He said there were maybe 5 people working in the pharmacy while he was there. Good to see that! Based on our first experience, CVS may be a keeper. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have dealt with. Customer service is terrible. When answering phones they ask you if you can please hold, but then put you on hold before you can even get a word out. They are always saying they are understaffed and not experienced with certain medications procedures with those medications and must wait for the other pharmacist. It takes them hours to fill prescriptions. read more

Slowest pharmacy I have ever been to in my life. I understand they are doing covid testing but if you can't get people in and out and be convenient like you are supposed to be then maybe it is time to stop trying to do it all. I literally sat there blocked in for 46 min just waiting on one car. It's extremely disheartening and frustrating. We decided we're going to swap pharmacies over until they are done doing testing because it's so slow and so inconvenient. The worst part is that I don't mind going inside and unloading the kids but the people who operate the counter are always pissed off and grumpy so it makes it hard to go inside because I just wanna get my meds I don't want to aggravate people with my presence. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. There was a problem with my insurance and LINDA was not being clear on the information we needed to get for her so I could get my prescriptions. After her saying "no I'm busy I cannot help you by calling your insurance" we hung up the phone and I called another CVS. The lady at the other CVS in Sanger was so much more help. She was happy to call our insurance and figure everything out which is her job. We were able to figure everything out and get my medication within 45 minutes. I had the lady at the Sanger CVS transfer my medications to that one where everything was figured out. Linda from CVS on Ashlan and Fowler your customer service sucks. There are really people who need medicine because they are really sick and you told us no. Go find another job where you can go tell sick people no you won't help them. read more

This, particular, store is famous for saying, texting that my prescription is in and after waiting in the drive thru line, getting to my turn, they say I'm sorry your prescription is not filled. They say come back in 15 minutes, as if I had all day to go back and forth to get my medication. They are, also, rude when explaining why a prescription isn't/wasn't filled. This review is only for the pharmacy, they're terrible. I'm in debilitating pain after just leaving the hospital, I dropped off my prescription for Epifoam and was told it would be an hour. I know a lot of pharmacies tend to run out of this particular medication so we asked to make sure they have it on hand before returning, and they assured us that they did. When we returned after an hour to the drive through line, we had 4 cars in front of us and each car was taking an average of 15 minutes to get through the line. This is ridiculous for a drive thru service. When we finally got up to the front on the line, the gal at the window said she had to do a stock check and make sure they carried it. This means they never even looked for it before! She said it would be another 15 minutes to fill it, so again, they did not even begin to fill the prescription I dropped off over an hour ago. She also informed me that the medication expired at the end of this month, and wanted to make sure I still wanted it. At this point I was desperate and pissed so I still bought it. Long story short, this pharmacy is completely unorganized and needs to be re-evaluated by corporate. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for about 5 years now and I've never had a bad experience. Wait times aren't too long, especially if you go inside. They text you to know your order is ready, it's super convenient. I use the drive thru a lot and it's been a very smooth process. They are thorough and very kind and respectful. One time I came to the pharmacy to get a prescription for pain medication and being new to my job my insurance hadn't kicked in yet, I knew it was going to be a pretty penny and mentally prepared for that, when the pharmacist saw I didn't have insurance he took some time to look and see if he could find me a discount and he did! I was so thankful! I see a lot of people complaining in other reviews about long wait times and I'm sorry but 15 mins is not a long wait time. Yes, they have a drive thru but this is not McDonald's, this is prescription medication they are dealing with, I'd prefer They give me the correct meds and you never know what is going on in the car in front of you, maybe the driver is asking a ton of questions, maybe they are trying to commit some type of fraud, maybe the driver got a new prescription and wants the pharmacist to go over how to use it, maybe they are looking to see if they can get you your medication cheaper! Give these hard working people a break! read more

Never heard of a pharmacy that will only Accept one insurance even though you have other insurance that covers your prescription. I was informed that they can only bill one private insurance when I asked if I can include both my private insurance since I have dual coverage. read more

This place is horrid! I called to make sure my dr called my medicine in. A male pharmacist answered and was mute on the phone as I asked if it was ready! He just mumbled so I decided to come in and get it. as this is not my regular pharmacy I knew it would take longer to fill out forms and all. There were 4 people in line and one waiting in the drive thru and only 1 person at the register! It took 20 minutes to get to me and then she told me I would have to wait another 20 to get 2 pills!!! Wtf! They are so unorganized and slow! The place looks gross and falling apart. I brought in a competitors coupon of which many have said they take and they refused it. I was charged more than any medicine I ever pay for and would definitely never come here again! I rather go to Walmart! Only made my migraine more intolerable! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience having to run to this CVS on Christmas Day. I had called to see if they were open first and the man who answered the phone was so cheery for having to work the holiday. Then, as I got there and attained the items we needed, the staff was cheerfully and very quickly working through the line of customers they had. Good job staff! This is so far the worst pharmacy in town. The Pharmacy supervisor, Patricia Hill was very rude, very unprofessional, very dismissive and does not know customer service. She even told me "it seems like you are very concerned about your son's medication so go ahead and come here and I'll pay for the $4 medication!". I reported her and her supervisor called and visited this store but I guess his visit didn't improve the quality of their service. Today, I pick up my son's medication that I refilled thru the CVS app but the pharmacy tech gave me a different medication. When I told him about it, he said "I asked you if you have a question regarding the medication". I told him "if we are talking about the medication that I refilled and expected to get then yes I don't have any question about it since my son has been taking it for years and I am very familiar with it". I told him that he did not tell me what medication is ready which is their standard practice and I don't understand why I was given a different medication. Since they already gave me the medication, I am not able to return it. The pharmacy tech even told me that next time I have to tell him if the medication is right so I can still return it. This doesn't make sense at all since they should know what medication is being refilled by the customer and as a customer, you are expecting that you will be given the right medication that you refilled. I WILL THINK TWICE IN USING THIS PHARMACY if you don't want a HEADACHE! Aside from the long wait in the drive thru, the customer service is definitely the worst!!! read more

I dont know what the hell is going on in their pharmacy now but we will be moving our prescriptions somewhere else asap! Last two experiences have killed it for me. Went to drop off 2 prescriptions, one we needed asap, the other were could wait a day, if need be. 1st was told we'd have to wait on the one (that we had some leeway on, so that's fine), but the other would b ready in about an hour. Ok, cool. She then tells me to hold on, comes back n says actually we cant fill either cuz we're out n she didn't know if they'd get more in on their next shipment n to go find another CVS to see if they have it! I try calling the CVS on Sunnyside and Herndon but couldn't get thru so i drive over there. They had it n got it filled asap. I told them why i was there (they used to be our regular location but we moved and the Ashlan one is now closer) and they were floored. They said they could see those meds were both in stock at the Ashlan n Fowler store n they should've never sent me away, especially like they did. Now today, we drop off a prescription yesterday afternoon we need as soon as possible. They say they're super busy n it wont be ready in an hour, but willl text as usual when ready. Hadn't heard anything so i call today. After i get handed off to 3 different people, each new one not knowing why im calling so I'm having to repeat my question n info each time, they tell me the girl yesterday forgot to enter my husband's prescription so they never filled a thing! Very poor costumer service by Kristine, pharmacist. I received a text message saying that my prescription will be ready by 12 noon. I actually went to pick my med 2 days later but my it was not ready. So I told this pharmacist that the automated text message is not accurate. This all knowing pharmacist insists what she wants while talking at the same time with me. I was so frustrated with her and at the same time so upset going home without a med (missing my dose). I told her to bring up problem with management so it won't happen again with other customers but she said customers need to call customer service number so management would know. This person is ridiculous! Not proactive to initiate change for better service. Very poor listener. Very bad customer relations. read more

I went into this CVS today because yesterday my father-in-law was diagnosed with leukemia and told he had only a few weeks to live and he has been having some nosebleeds. I picked up the materials I thought would be most helpful, but I wanted to get a pharmacist's opinion about whether there were any other options. I went to the pharmacy counter where an assistant was busily typing into a computer. There were 2 other people in the pharmacy who wouldn't even look at me. The assistant kept typing and after about 3 minutes with me standing there, grieving and still somewhat in shock, barely glanced at me and said "I'll be with you in a few minutes." I waited about 3 more minutes and then left, upset at the rude treatment I had received. I am 60 yo and have been in many pharmacies and this was one of my worst experiences. They were obviously short-staffed but a customer should take priority over typing in a computer. You would think that they would understand that many people are in pain, physical or emotional distress and would greatly appreciate a smile and quick service. I was very glad I did not have to get a prescription filled there and I will not be returning to this pharmacy. read more
