Okay so the pharmacy / store is very average overall. I had to wait a very long time one day in the Charmaine to buy Sudafed. Only 1 person was working the counter. It was very slow and inefficient. - do not recommend that. Now to buy a card or candy it's okay. The register is usually pretty fast and they are friendly. Now their WiFi overrides your phone and sucks u can't pull up the app to look for coupons, a store employee told me to go outside it would get better. Indeed it did. But that's annoying. Now the 5 star thing, they take FedEx! You go to photo counter and can ship FedEx. Absolutely excellent, easy, no wait, they text u a code with your confirmation, it's great! read more

I ADORE MY WALGREENS! It is my one stop shop! Mostly due to the customer service. Recently, I was approached by Lexi, asking me if I needed assistance in the cosmetic area. I said What? You mean like, Macy, Nordstrom, etc...She said Yes! Lexi is their Cosmetic Consultant and assists customers with her expertise and Walgreen's product. She is invaluable!! I prefer buying my lip stuff at Walgreens than paying a fortune At Macys. Ruby, the Manager, is very helpful, she has taken me to several products to figure out my needs. Also assisted me with coupons, very friendly, approachable and available to customers. Every cashier is super friendly, one I remember her name is Kayne, she taught me about my coupon and showed me how to use it! GOLDMINE! I turned around and bought candy. Others taught me about the coupons on-line! I now order on-line and pick-up great deals same day or next day!! Lastly, if the line is long, instantly, they get another cashier or take folks to photo for check out. I have NEVER waited in line long. I called in a prescription at this pharmacy a week ago. The past three days I've been trying to get ahold of a pharmacist to ask why it still hadn't been filled. Each time I called, I waited 20+ minutes on hold never getting ahold of anyone. Finally I drove to the store and was told my doctor hadn't approved the refill. I immediately called my doctor's office and the pharmacy hadn't approved never called for them to authorize an approval. This place is a joke. read more

This pharmacy is ridiculous! We have been going here for years and the service is so bad now. Our prescriptions are regularly delayed. Several times now they say they are out of the medication, which is a common statin. Recently, I had to call them 4 times to get the prescription filled. They sent a text saying they are awaiting insurance authorization, 4 days go by with no follow up. When called to follow up, they said they we're still awaiting authorization, but upon further questioning, they said "oh, it has been authorized, I don't know why it hasn't been filled yet". Today, my physician sent in three prescriptions, and they filled two, and texted that they were waiting insurance authorization on the third. Eight hours later, I called to find out the status, after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, they say that they can only give us three pills, because I do not have a history of taking opioids. Shouldn't that make it easier to authorize? They say they are calling the doctor for authorization. I reminded them that the doctor just sent in the authorization this morning. Then they say OK, we can give you 20 pills. ???? I guess I'm looking for a new pharmacy. .. read more

Walgreens pharmacy has horrible customer service, spent 15 minutes on hold to be hung up on and then another 20 minutes after my second call to be told it'll take 5 hours to fill a z-pak.. looks like I'll be using the CVS from here on out! read more

Walgreens accepts my insurance or I would not be using their store. The store at Herndon and Fowler does a good job with my meds. They are filled on time and the Walgreens Ap does a great job with notifications. The staff is friendly and helpful. This particular store " however is filthy on its exterior. Debris from bird nests are left on the pathways outside the store. Trash is not picked up and the sidewalk has ground in grime that is awful. Today was the worst so far - I used the drive thru to pick up a prescription. The window area was covered in spiderwebs, including spider egg sacs. They were not in a corner of the window but in several corners and down near the drawer area. How does this continue and the store or corporation seem to have no interest in keeping the exterior of their store clean. Come on Walgreens -do better read more

Pharmacy is a nightmare. Staff stopped trying to assist customers a long time ago. They just want them to go away. I was told to return in 40 Minutes for my prescription. When I did she said the wait was two hours. When I asked the same staff member why, she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. When I asked the pharmacist she acted like I was lying to her. Unfortunately, this is how it's been for a few months. Time to move on when they act like you're lying to them for their own incompetence. read more

It's been 7 years since my last review. At that time, I only reviewed the pharmacy. Now, the entire store has lost their collective mind. If you make the mistake of shopping there, watch out for sale prices that are wrong. Check your receipt and make sure you aren't over charged. They can't handle coupons, every thing is mis marked. Nobody seems to know what they are doing and if you say anything, a line begins to form behind you inconveniencing everyone in the store. I must say they are consistent in that they never get the prices right. I guess it's a numbers game. They cheat everyone and only the people who notice and complain get the discount. They have 2 prices for the same products. You have to ask for the discount and take them to the sign or pay double. read more

Indeed, kind of meh. :( Pharmacy is very slow but also they don't seem completely aware of what they have. I asked the pharmacist if they had Vit B6 25mg, told him I had already checked the aisles, which my ob friend told me was only going to have 100mg, and in response, the guy said he could have someone help me look for it. I felt like he didn't completely understand that I had already looked but I appreciated the effort and said okay. It took quite awhile for someone to come over and after scouring the aisles again I was starting to regret it, and when I told her what I was looking for she confirmed that they didn't have it. WORST pharmacy ever!!!! I go through the drive-through five cars deep with two kids in the car I finally get up to the Register mind you I got a text at 12:45 saying my prescription was ready so I went to pick it up at 3:30 when I get up there she says it's not ready so to go through the line again so I said I have kids in the car I cannot do that I need my prescription I will wait here until it's done because it said it be ready at 12:45.... The lady (short Asian lady) so RUDE and disrespectful so I'm back in the line again another five cars deep I will be in the line for over 30 minutes with two kids in the car worst pharmacy in town!!!!!! Does anyone work in the pharmacy on Herndon/Fowler in Clovis CA? Called twice and waited on hold for 30 min. The call never was answered and I called back and on hold for a additional 30 min I'd still be waiting but I hung up. The most unprofessional dept. I will be changing pharmacies because I am concerned about the incompetent customer service and the pharmacist who cannot handle anything other than their 2 hr lunches. Walgreens is a joke!! Waiting in line at the drive thru for well over thirty minutes now. I understand COVID testing slows things down a little but this much? I have one prescription to pick up-this is beyond ridiculous. COVID testing should be done separate from regular prescription pick up. The line is all the way around the building. Those poor people will be waiting an hour or more. read more

This pharmacy is an absolute joke. They're the absolute slowest drive thru in the world. If there is 2 cars in line.....I am 100% confidentyoull Benin line for 30 mins plus. If you want prescriptions filled this century.....I beg of you, go to a different Walgreens or different pharmacy altogether. We were even told recently that our meds couldn't be released to us (for our sick kids) because the actual pharmacist was on his lunch break. This is after we waited 45 mins in the drive thru also. During the height of the cold and flu season, this Walgreens is closed for lunch. They are closed from 1 to 2 PM. You would think hat a big corporation could hire enough people so that they would not have to completely close the whole pharmacy to the community. This is a bad business practice. read more

The most annoying pharmacy ever. During Covid I started going thru the drive-thru to pick up prescriptions. That meant waiting extremely long time due to staff member (one) serving drive-thru and the inside counter. Then today I went and the management decided to do drive-thru Covid testing along with prescription pick up. This caused such a backup. I waited 40 minutes with only two cars ahead of me! Here's an idea - have a separate drive-thru for Covid texting only! read more

Ask Me about Walgreens and I'll tell you about their awesome customer rewards program. Every time I shop there I get rewards and when I least expect it, I'm saving five dollars or I'm getting cash credit towards my purchase. It's awesome. I usually go here for one certain thing, but they have everything. Across all Walgreens stores I can expect t the same very well-stocked store and attentive staff. That's why it's my favorite pharmacy drugstore. This location is my home location and I feel at ease when I go here. The staff is always available and keep the lines moving very quickly. Pharmacy is very rude. Makes customers wait in line as people call and take priority. Doctors call in medications yet they can never find them until you press them to look harder. Really wish I could rate this store at a higher rating rather than just five stars. Their customer service is top notch as they go above and beyond to help. Ramiro who works at the store was called at 10:30 pm when their photo area was already closed. When explained what had happened at a different store they were so willing and understanding to open up and re do it at no cost. A different Walgreens did me so wrong and butchered a passport photo I really needed for an urgent appointment in San Francisco for passport renewal. They cut my head off and my visit would of been wasted as they would of rejected my application. Would of been a wasted trip. Thank you so much read more

This Walgreens pharmacy sucks... They discriminate against prescriptions that that they do not want to fill..Few months ago I had four prescriptions one was for migraine medicine all four were approved and had refills but when I went to pick them up they only gave me the three and not the migraine medication so I ended up going with mail order after four days of saying I don't have refills when I'm looking at the bottle now today I had another prescription that was sent in on last Friday by my provider and it seems they don't want to feel this one either says it wasn't approved by the doctor even though they faxed it again today and sent it on Friday....I believe I've been discriminated against they use their own judgment as to what they will fill in what they won't fill... Please use other pharmacies not this one.... read more

Went to the website to get pharmacy hours (open until 6). Arrived at 215 to find out they were closed for lunch. Advised the supervisor they could add lunch hour to the website to avoid people coming to the store for no reason. He didn't seems to care. read more

The absolute best pharmacy I have ever worked with. I have been pretty ill over the last couple years and they have been there for me through everything. On the days I'm having a bad day and snappy, they are still sweet and caring. Very disappointed with poor customer service over and over again. Poor management, long waits for common prescriptions, clueless clerks questioning of decisions made by my physicians.
