If you're deeply committed to looking tired, mediocre, and exactly your age, I would probably avoid Revay Aesthetics. However, if you enjoy looking hot and like several years have mysteriously disappeared from your face, preferably while being rewarded with a glass of champagne for enduring a little pain, go see Revay. I have been to a number of people (in LA, NYC & SF) over the years, and she is easily THE best. I travel 4 hours to see her because once you find someone who actually knows what they're doing, you become extremely unwilling to gamble with your face. I treat my face like I treat my tattoos: once I find my person, I'm loyal. This is not an area of my life where I enjoy experimenting (don't judge me on my first tattoo thanks). I will also absolutely have martinis with her any day, which is one of my more important and highly scientific ways of determining whether I like someone. She passes. WARNING: there is absolutely nothing you can say or do to get out of the before pictures. Nothing. I have attempted diplomacy. It does not work. Just accept that photographic evidence of your pre-Revay condition will be collected and move on. Ps. The entire office is also ridiculously friendly, and the space itself is a f****** vibe. My lips look fabulous. I wanted them a tad fuller but fillers tend to "migrate" for me so she used a concoction that has the least chance of migrating. So far they look great and symmetrical...and fuller! She also has a new(er) device for my pink, rosacea face that I will be trying out over break. Revay and her staff are fantastic! I went in for a consultation to have my lip filler "that I had done somewhere else" dissolved. Revay took the time to listen to what I wanted, made me feel comfortable and not pressured to jump into anything. I scheduled a appt to have my filler dissolved a week later. One great thing about Revay and her team is the follow up. They checked in on me a few times that week to make sure I was doing ok and answered any questions I had as it can be a little shocking to see your lips "deflate." When it was time to add filler back into my lips we decided to do it in 2 appts. I went in on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I bruise very, very easy and I had a little more bruising in a spot and was a little concerned. When Revays team called to check on me Thursday, Thanksgiving day I sent a picture and said I was concerned and wanted some reassurance that all was well as I was leaving out of town the following day. Loved my experience with Revay! I did a lot of due diligence before moving forward with an aesthetics nurse so finding her was perfect! I visited maybe 4 med spas for a consultation on micro needling last summer, mind you I'm a dark skin woman with the goal to fix hyperpigmentation. Every spa I went to before Revay said they'd do the micro needling no problem. But Revay was definitely more knowledgeable about how easy it is to get hyperpigmentation on darker skin so she informed me that the summer wasn't really the best time for me to get this procedure just like how chemical peels are more of a winter seasonal procedure. From then on I knew Revay definitely took pride in her work as a nurse she makes sure to share the same goals with her patients!
