Today, I noticed a new rack filled with beautiful casual jewelry. I was so impressed, this jewelry is what I would order from a famous online store and I can get them here. The prices are reasonable and no shipping costs!! Love this location. Valentines Day is here! They have those 18" dolls that little girls love. They are knockoff American Girl Dolls. First off, I sent a prescription in that we normally have filled and they continued to tell me that it was not covered by insurance. I had to go back-and-forth with them four times before they realize they were running the wrong insurance. My son is type one diabetic and we were literally on his last pump and I had to call and figure it out with them. Called my doctors office and they confirmed that the prescription was active, but the pharmacy kept telling me there was nothing they could do. So we're completely out of supplies and I finally get them to fill it and show up at 1:28 to pick it up. The pharmacy closes at 1:30 but I made it just under the gun. He yells from behind the counter that they are closed and I'm going to have to come back and he's very passionate about making sure his team gets their lunch break. Thanks for putting my son's health in jeopardy. Thanks for the hours of back and forth between insurance and my doctor's office and the wasted week, which means we have no backup supplies now because insurance only allows us to fill every 30 days. I shop here often and have always encountered friendly and professional service. CVS has a great rewards program and the coupons save me a ton of money. Regarding the pharmacy, I've also received great service here. The wait is reasonable and they have always had all my meds available. I actually switched to this pharmacy from the one closer to home, which often had an hour or longer wait. Overall, I highly recommend CVS, specifically this Eastlake location. read more

3/16/26....about.. 5:15 pm....I have been coming here for a long time for a family member's prescribe medicine for free through the fam member's health insurance. Today, there was an out of pocket charge or a co-pay for the refill. I did not pay. I told the cashier to process the medicine through the health insurance so there is no cost. The cashier sends me to another counter to speak to the pharmacist to check if the health insurance is on file. Obviously it is. The med is then processed through the insurance and there is a 10 min delay because the refill needs to be fixed. The medicine has been forgotten to be process through the health insurance. This shows some incompetence. Whoever does the refill needs more training on processing the medicine through the customer's health insurance on file, provided the customer has health insurance. The mistake should not happen from the start. The staff showed no apology for a refill med delay. I wonder if they apoIogize to other customers for this matter. I see this as a poor customer service. It reflects the lack of accountability and empathy. Lastly, the staff there look bored. read more

We moved to San Diego from the East Coast recently so my child can receive gender affirming care and to be closer to family. While most blue states provide gender affirming care for transgender kids, the waitlist for care can take many months and even years. I was quoted 18 months+ for Children's National in DC and some providers in Massachusetts have closed their waitlist and this was all before Trump took office. On February 12, 2025, I went to the CVS in Eastlake to pickup medications for myself and my child: Apparently, the medication for my child was flagged because a woman who works in the pharmacy (not the cashier who got the meds) comes over and starts interrogating me as I am waiting at the counter for my child's medication that their doctor prescribed at an office visit on February 11. - Are you the parent? - How old is your child? - Do you know that this medication is not intended or tested on children under 18? - You should speak to your child's doctor about your child taking this medication... How bizarre to ask all this?!? I am picking up a prescription that was prescribed by my kid's doctor and this random person who we don't know questions my kid's medical care? Most medications for children are prescribed "off label" because most drugs are not tested on children. I have picked up numerous prescriptions all over the country at various CVS locations and never been interrogated like this even for schedule 2 drugs. Certainly the stupidest, most bigoted pharmacy I ever had to deal with! read more

bad customer service. the Asian lady wearing eyeglasses with a long hair has an attitude towards customer , I was trying to get my baby's RX and she told me to wait 20mins so I waited knowing that she knew what she was saying when she's talking to me . i lined up and expected that I'll be getting the right RX but they gave me the other meds which I don't need now she wants me to go back to the consultation window again saying I don't know what's she's talking about to her co worker, so rude. Let's see, if you like to stand in a line for 30 min to get your prescription, then you will love this place. If you want them to work slow, make mistakes and just all around disappoint you. This is the pharmacy for you. Here today (5/27/25). 8!people in line in front of me. They handle 1 person every 5 min. It takes that long. While I stand here others started complaining in front of me . You know once in a while like this is fine, but this happens every time I come here. Clean store. Friendly, attentive staff. Pharmacy is quick. Scheduled a vaccine at 6:30. From check in to exit it was 10 minutes! Phenomenal performance. I was not surprised when i saw the low rating, the pharmacist and it's crew are not responsible at all, my doctor submitted a prescription at 3pm they never reached out or called so i had to wait in line and ask the arrogant pharmacist for her to tell me that they are waiting for my doctor to submit it, after i called the doctor's office they confirmed they did 3 hours ago which i communicated to the arrogant pharmacist she checked her tray (did her job) and found the sheet she received 3 hours ago and told me to wait 10 minutes to prepare it. These people have to respect for their job nor their patients, a pharmacy run like a carwash... what a shame! read more

My regular pharmacy closed so I had a prescription ordered at this CVS. I got there at 1:35 pm and was informed by an attendant at the pharmacy that they were closed for lunch and I could come back. This is a bad parking lot to get in an out of and is certainly not convenient to my home in Bonita, so will have to find another pharmacy. Closing for lunch is ridiculous. read more

I wish I could do -5 stars This had been my Pharmacy for many years the pharmacist back at that time I would say in 2018 transferred to this location because this is where she was from when she knew me from a previous location. Everything was wonderful during the pandemic pharmacist always took care of me. Make sure I have my medication's above above and This new staff is horrible. They are rude and disrespectful today. I spoke with Stephanie. She is a blatant liar. I spoke with her over the phone after getting a text message for me to reach out to the pharmacy. I told her that I needed this medication by today because I had no more medication. It is pain meds. I will go into detox because they never have time they always have to order , the previous time the last time to four days before To doctor in the prescription for my before 3 PM. I was going to come in and talk to them in person and wait for it to be filled. I received a text from the pharmacy saying that they needed me to talk to the pharmacist I called before 5 o'clock. I spoke with Stephanie explained to her the situation explained what insurance it was over under and if it wasn't covered yet because it needs a prior authorization that I would pay cash she took a while for her to process it over the phone. I got it to go through. You'll have it before 8 o'clock. I told her yes cause I really needed for it to be have it today. Never received any Updates about medication being ready for pick up decided to drive over to the Pharmacy waited in line when I get to the front of the line the girl tells me it's not ready. It'll be ready tomorrow at 10 AM because it's already almost 8 PM now and they're about to close. When I spoke to the person on the phone earlier today, they told me would be ready I asked to speak with the manager of course there's no manager on duty. I waited to speak to somebody and end up being that I spoke to Stephanie in person she was rude and just plainly said no I told you it would be ready tomorrow at 10 that's it nothing else. I explained to her the situation that I needed my medication that I had no more she didn't care couldn't be bothered and just side and did an eye roll and. Needless to say, I will be going to another pharmacy I have been CVS Pharmacy customer since early 1990 back then it was Savon. If this is their level of customer service and lack of respect for their customers, I strongly suggest that you do some major training with your staff. read more

Horrible to say the least. For emergency purposes, I've ordered my meds to be delivered to this pharmacy for convenient pickup. They could not find them, even though I was told as well as given the tracking number, still were clueless about it. Second time same thing happened, I spoke to a rep from the Specialty department and said that if they did not have my meds ready (as I had already ran out and they aren't ordinary meds, these are transplant meds) we would have to escalate the issue. People working here should be aware when medications are sent/ delivered etc. to be ready on time for customers. read more

Me and the family usually come to this CVS just to pick up small things. I am a member and usually utilize the specials that they have. The location is right in the corner in the shopping center and easy to locate. Since it's in a shopping center parking is vast and easy to find. And issue with the location is that it's near the stop light so oncoming traffic comes around the corner, so caution is needed. Once inside, the store employees usually welcome you and ask if anything is needed. The various isles are labeled and easy to read. The employees can help with any questions asked if any. The prices are reasonable and if a club member then the discounts are great. So if you are in the area and want to snag something quick and at a reasonable price then this is a good spot. read more

It's always clean here. They're very nice and professional in the pharmacy dept. I don't interact much with the workers but when I did they were helpful and gave fast service. It's never a bad time here and I'm glad that everyone knows and respects me because I have so much respect for them as well. I pickup my moms prescriptions here and they are amazing communicators. They do vaccinations here for shingles and pneumonia which my mom needed a few months ago- so I'm thankful they offer all these options for health care of course through our insurance network. read more

I'm going to keep this review short and sweet. I've not had a bad experience here. I think I've shopped here once or twice but I primarily deal with the pharmacy. When I did come to shop I needed help bit times and was helped with a smile and the employee walked me over to the item I was looking for. To me, that's great customer service. The pharmacy staff is really nice. When there is a long like the staff doesn't just look at it and put their heads down, they jumó on a register and get to helping. A few times I've shown up right after the RX was called in and the wait was no longer than 15 minutes. Now, I use their app and text messaging system when it comes to filling my prescriptions and it makes things super easy. My RX is usually filled within the hour it was called in and I get an app and text notification. I usually have shied away from big box pharmacies because it's a less personal experience but this pharmacy reminds me of the small retail pharmacies. The employees at this CVS pharmacy are personable. They remember me (not sure if that's a good thing) and they get me in and out with a quickness. read more

Was not pleased w the young guy working tonight 1/9/2022 around 8pm. I was using the self-checkout, but the screen froze twice, right when I was finishing my transaction of 15 items of Skincare stuff, Totaling a cost of $152- ish dollars. He then said he will help me after the woman he is currently helping. I waited.... Took some time as it looked like the woman was returning items? Or? She was getting a large some of money back. , so I decided to try the 2nd self checkout booth, while he was helping her. It froze on me so I had to wait some more..... He came over to unlock the Screen... Then, I told him.... If he could wait a little, until I was done, so the screen won't freeze on me, again.... He told me, he has to get going and that it shouldn't freeze anymore...... All I said "....Wow." I did Not Appreciate his customer service.... Even if he had to go, he handled the situation unprofessionally. *He had told me he would help me after the woman he helped...But, Left before my Transaction was Complete. (I don't understand why he couldn't wait a few seconds until my Transaction was complete to make sure I was well on my way.... as he could see I was waiting some time, now.) After he left, Well, the Screen Froze, AGAIN. And, so I waited some more until the woman came to help me unfreeze the screen. She was nice. This particular cvs is located in the same business plaza as Trader Joe's, tj maxx and sprouts. Extremely clean location. Very well organized and stocked. Pharmacy is very prompt, efficient and friendly. If possible, check out back there. Because there are loooooong wait times to check out in the front, 1 cashier and 1 self check out. Good luck. I switched my prescriptions to CVS from Vons because it was closer and hours were more convenient for me. What a huge mistake!!! I have yet to have a friendly staff person help me! I never hear anyone greet customers or see anyone with a smile on their face. Everyone looks and acts miserable. It's extremely frustrating when I try to treat everyone with kindness and respect. If you work in customer service, these things should be inherent to your job. Be better! read more

This CVS just opened September 2017 at the Village Walk shopping center in Eastlake. I had 3 coupons that were mailed to my house tempting me to go check them out. Free 2 liter of soda, free CVS brand pharmacy product and $5 off $15. I scored two large containers of cashews and fancy mixed nuts, a medicated lip balm and a 2 liter of diet coke for under $10. Now if I was shopping here without a coupon, the prices are standard for a drugstore...meaning you need a CVS loyalty card to get any sort of discount on select products. This store is nice and clean and surprisingly they have carpet throughout much of the store which kind of warms it up compared to standard cold tile. Right now it's extremely clean and I had one glitch at check out but the cashier quickly summoned the manager who resolved the issue quickly. My only gripe and the reason they lose a star is I'm not sure that the parking at Village Walk can accommodate a Sprouts, Trader Joes, TJ Maxx, half a dozen restaurants and a CVS. The holidays certainly will not be pretty. So I suggest you do as my mom does to avoid the traffic in the parking lot, shop early in the morning. read more

This CVS does not have many medications in stock. You need it today and they tell you they will have it ready for you in two weeks. It has happened to us several times this year. Today the pharmacist sent us to another CVS and after driving clear across town only to find out that that medication could not be transferred. Had to reach out to my Dr and gave him send out another prescription to the other CVS that dues have it. So, tomorrow another trip across town. Very frustrated to say the least! read more

Now a fan of CVS. Good location, lots of space, options, and excellent customer service. 1). Selection. There are lots of selection in this location. The aisles are both conveniently stacked with medical choices as well as others (seasonal, small groceries, etc). 2). Customer Service. More attentive and more organized than Walgreens (sorry for calling you out). The stockers are knowledgeable and go out of their way to assist. Smaller lines too. - The pharmacy has lesser lines and they are more efficient and more organized. They have a nice comfy waiting area. 3). Atmosphere. Larger, more organized aisles, and clean. The location screams sanitary. The bathrooms are also quickly located and is not a maze to locate. 4). Others. Lots of parking. Lots of seasonal offers. - Ensure to sign up for the CVS card for discounts and offers. The rewards system here seems easier to earn points and discounts. Both pharmacies are close but I am going to switch here for our primary needs because it seems above average than your local pharmacy. Very strongly recommended location. read more

For a CVS in the other half of Chula Vista, this one seemed clean, and stocked up fairly well. In particular I was searching for haircutting clippers (which online said store only for a specific Wahl brand I was seeking). I went to the CVS in National City (they had one brand of them) and the Sweetwater location (they had nothing) to no avail. This store had more choices of the clippers I sought out plus other brands. The location of this store with Trader Joe's, Sprouts, and the other retail outlets makes this a good choice. Plus the other CVS locations I usually shop at are kinda hoodish. read more

Pharmacy doesn't follow HIPA, is very rude. I received my fill for a new medication, being a previous Pharmacy Tech I know Pharmacist usually consult you go over concerns and such. Pharmacist just signed off looked at me and said it's going to take 3 weeks for it to feel like it's working and continued on to a conversation with someone in the bag. Twice they have given me the wrong medications that were from old prescriptions . I never asked for the auto refills of these old medications . Rather than apologizing and being accommodating the pharmacist Ms Hewi Dapi on duty decided to very rudely interrupt me and harshly say it was on me to check ( even though someone else picks up the medication ) and that they would return the wrong prescription one time only . read more

Very rude costumer service. Stay away from the fair-skinned lady w/ short hair standing 6 feet tall. I was in the cosmetics section casually minding my business. Then I hear "Are you putting that on your face, you aren't supposed to do that!" literally from across the aisle. I always go to Sephora so I'm used to trying on stuff. Her tone was very demanding and dehumanizing. Tone and attitude is everything especially in costumer service. Which apparently she can't control. My advice: stay away from that particular CVS employee unless u want a headache. read more

I originally don't get my prescriptions filled here, but last month on December 17th the pharmacist at Rite Aite tells me that my sons prescription for his seizure medication is on back order til January 2nd, and my best bet would be to look at other pharmacies to see if they have it available. Or call my sons doctor and have the prescription changed. So I went to 3 other places before coming to CVS. They had 60 pills, but my son needed a 90 day supply. I thought this would be perfect until they can fill the rest. The pharmacist tells me, "I'm sorry I only have 60 pills, and since it's the same manufacturer we have the same issue and won't get more in until January 2nd." I said, "well I have only 5 days left supply at home couldn't you give me the 60 pills and then give me the rest when January 2nd rolls around?" She reluctantly said, "yes, which pharmacy has the original prescription." Now today I go back to pick up his refill and keep in mind they never gave me the remainder of that first pick up. I pick up his medicine and it says 60 pills. I didn't realize this till I got home. So I call CVS to ask if they will give me the other 30 because the ordinal prescription was a 90 pills for a 30 day supply. The pharmacist tells me that Rite Aide only sent over a prescription for 60 pills. I then reply, "ok, so how do I get the 90 pills?" She tells me, "you'll have to call your doctor for another prescription and have it sent here. That's Rite Aides fault." I call Rite Aide and I've been with them for 18 years. I tell them the situation. They pull up my sons file and show me that they sent over the prescription to CVS and it says 90 pills. I told them how I hated CVS and only went there because they had my sons medicine. But I don't ever want to have to deal with them again. Rite Aide told me to not worry and they will contact my sons doctor and have the prescription sent back to them and pre-order his next refill so that I don't run into this problem again. That's the kind of service I expected from CVS Pharmacy, but both time was left frustrated and basic had to figure it out for myself. Didn't get the Pharmacist name but it was the same Asian lady both times. read more

I like that this CVS is close to my home but they have a hard time locating products for me, customer service isn't the best and OMG don't order photo panels from here! I had to get mine redone twice and finally had to go to a different cvs so they can make it right for me! Other than that it's a clean store and I don't use their pharmacy so I can't add a review to that. read more
