I've been coming here for years and have always had positive experiences with this pharmacy. Friendly staff, quick service, and helpful advice. Unfortunately, this time I was advised by Leanne to take a medicine at three times the dose prescribed by my doctor. This was concerning and could have been harmful. I double checked with her and of course didn't realize until I left. I hope the pharmacy reviews its procedures to ensure dosing advice is always accurate and safe. I still value this pharmacy for past experiences, but I wanted to share this so others can be cautious. read more

I don't even want to give this CVS pharmacy 1 star. I would give them a negative zero for their rudeness and unhelpfulness. I asked them ahead of time what information I would need to pick up my RX. They told me to come down in person. I requested the person's name whom I spoke with, and she kept saying, " I'm the pharmacist. "That's not a name, that's a title!!! I really wish they had people to actually check you out. The self checkout is annoying . Everyone around me was offered help at self checkout except for me, I hate to say it was because of how I looked, but I have somehow have a feeling that it was. When I mentioned this to the lady that was working, it would've been nice to have been offered help, She said oh I saw you scanning so you looked OK. I said yeah but it would've nice if you had offered and she said sorry, but I don't really know how sincere it was. I like shopping here it's not crowded and it's clean. read more

I had to pick up my elderly mom's rx today. When I arrived through the drive through window I was greeted by a kind and compassionate female employee, she definitely deserves 5 stars. However, the 1 star is for the rude Pharmacist. After the week from He... I went to pick up my mom rxs. When I arrived Mom ended up have two rx filled for antibiotics by 2 diff treating Drs. The pharmacist asked me which one I wanted. I initially selected the antibiotic I knew she had taken before, but when the pharmacist explained that I had to make sure she takes on a full stonache, I asked if the other one also required food because she currently wasnt eating. He got upset and became very condescending, he proceeded to say "again, which one do you want to take?" So, I responded if the other one doesn't not require a full stomach, I will take that one instead, he complained to the nice employee about all the steps he now had to take, so I before he strained his it'll fingers, I said" if it's too much work just leave it as is. He got upset and said I removed both already so again which one do you want. Honestly if my mon wasn't so ill I would have left everything there, to top it off he then realized he has to go over the antibiotic with me because mom never took it and proceeds to say it can cause stomach upset and diarrhea (same as the initial one I was gonna get). I sure hope he doesn't last long at this CVS because I am stuck with them and I won't be as nice next time he decides to be rude and condescending. I will usually avoid this CVS, unless they send me an amazing deal. When I went in today, the experience was much different from any other other experiences prior. Usually, associates are unpleasant, indifferent, and lack any customer service skills, often entering the realm of outright rudeness. This time, Debbie assisted me and she was actually a happy, driven, customer service oriented associate willing to assist customers to her utmost capability. I hope she remains at this store, as I will increase my shopping if this is the level of customer service I am to expect. Thank you, Debbie! read more

This business is a shame and they pick and choose who they should take care of. My father is elderly and they would not fill his prescriptions. I also take the same prescriptions from same doctor. I know every one is scrambling to find a pharmacy now that most have closed but for regular people to pick and choose how you should be taken care of is sickening and this pharmacy should be sued for malpractice. Been coming here for a while for staples, prescriptions, and shampoo products. I use the T/Sal and T/Gel for dandruff if I ever need it. This place always carries it. I needed some today since I was almost out. I have been afraid to go in stores during Covid, so Debby was able to go and get the products, then have the drive-through pharmacy hold them for me. We even computed the price ahead of time, so I could just pay with cash and grab the bag through the window. I really appreciate when customer service helps you out and takes care of your requests without any hesitation. Everyone beware!! The gift cards at CVS are compromised. I purchased a Nike Gift card for $150 and when my son went to use it the balance was $0. I have It was used 3 days BEFORE my son got it as a gift. I've gone to my bank, Nike, and CVS. I found out that CVS is the one responsible and yet they still tell me too bad. Now my other son just bought a Nordstrom gift card for my wife and that card was compromised too!!! Nordstrom logs show that the balance was looked up 2-3 days before it was even filled! CVS needs to purge ALL of their gift cards as they are surely compromised. I'll still fight CVS for my money as they are responsible for their customers purchases and for us to be able to trust their stores. read more

DONT GET YOUR COVID TEST HERE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE My husband and I get tested almost every two weeks or so since covid began. We usually go to the cvs in Brea but since we moved to chino hills recently we decided to go here! We came before and have had no issues but this morning we came and was "greeted" by and Asian lady with black hair and glasses. She was very rude and demanding!! She was yelling over the intercom for no reason , she acted like drill sergeant!! Also my husband and I always get tested together and NEVER have any issues !! But this lady said " we're first gonna test Danny and once we're done your gonna GO BACK TO THE BACK OF THE LINE for Rachel to get tested "!!!! She seriously couldn't have tested us both at the same time like we always do, we never had any problems!! So once my husband was done we circled back around and wait in line for no reason!! She needs an attitude adjustment or just quite her job cause she is extremely miserable with her career !! read more

Purchased 3 giftcards from this location...they were activated successfully before leaving the store. I gifted the cards to my family but to our disappointment none of them worked! FRAUD!! Called to file a complaint..received an incident number and had to wait 10 days. They never called to provide any update about a refund. Finally after hours they took me off hold and told me they would not refund the fraudulent giftcard they sold me! Terrible CVS customer service, business practice, and complaint system. The doctor office sent a prescription at 8am electronically, now almost 11am still show pending in CVS app. Fine. My issue is there's no way to find a live person when calling phone# to follow up. I'm sorry but whoever answers the phone at this pharmacy (male) needs a lesson in simple listening. I used to go to this pharmacy all of the time for prescriptions. Recently my prescription was sent to this location by mistake. Transferring prescriptions from this location is a nightmare when the person answering the phone is actively trying to rush you off. I would normally give this specific store a raging FIVE stars, but I am really disappointed in CORPORATE, who, in their infinite wisdom, are in the process of making the check out process even more challenging than it already has to be, with rising costs of items, older shoppers, and limited employees ( which mean longer waits and less assistance for customers). But the great employees like Emery or Kyle, or the great staff in the pharmacy, are now being replaced with computers to check out. And for older customers like myself, that's just not gonna work. Provide a computer off to the side if you must, but please leave the great human beings that already work there and are pleasant and kind and can smile and help you in ways that machines cannot. So these three stars, shoulda just put one actually, are for CORPORATE, five stars for the great staff who actually serve the public!!! read more

I made an appointment to get a booster shot realizing that it was a wrong time at a wrong location. I canceled it and made an appointment at this location. Then somehow they just cancelled my appointment with them. When I get there, not only they are dismissive, they pharmacist/pharm tech basically just kicked me out. I work at a hospital and have close contact with COVID patients every single day. They didn't even offer me to just have a walk in vaccination. It is hard as it is to work as a health care worker during this time, can't believe I still need get the attitude of this lady at CVS. I would have given no stars if I can. read more

this review is for the drive thru. today i had to go pick up a prescription for my husband which is part of his weekly RA treatment. it was not included when i walked in to pick up his array of medications he takes last week. (my fault for not checking). i waited in the the drive thru line for 45 minutes with 3 cars in front of me. i would have gotten out of the car and walked in and waited in store but i was in my pajamas because i. was sick and had a fever and chills. believe me, i did NOT want to leave the house feeling like crap to pick up his meds but he HAS to have his treatment weekly. it is not unlike a chemo treatment, in fact it's an old chemo drug from back in the day. when i finally made it to the window and commented on how long my wait was; (arrived at 2:07 pm and was seen at 2:45pm) Vonnie or Lonnie whatever her name is very astutely told me "well i'm doing the best i can, i am only one person" and indeed she is, CVS. why are you screening covid patients and filling RX's in the same line? there has got to be a better way of handling the covid screenings; which are about as lengthy as this review; in a more efficient manner. lesson learned. DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH IF THERE IS MORE THAN 1 person ahead of you. next time, just walk in with your mask and try not to infect everyone with your fever and chills when picking up yours or your family's rx. read more

I've two horrible experiences already with this locations pharmacy. Second issue I had was this past week. My daughter's dr sent the prescription on Dec 21st. I got a text saying I would be notified when the prescriptions have been filled. I called after the holiday and spoke to a pharmacy tech and was told that it had to be ordered and would be ready the next day by 5pm. I wasn't able to go that day but went the following day. When I was at the window the pharmacy text said the dr had ordered the generic brand and that's why it was holding it up I told him my paperwork shows Flovent inhaler was ordered not the generic brand so to please double check. The pharmacist then came to the window and stated the prescription was being discontinued and the generic brand isn't covered by my insurance and it will be a couple hundred dollars. She kept talking over me until I asked her to let me talk! I told her I'm in disbelief of this answer because if that was the reason the pharmacy tech shouldn't have told me that my daughter's dr ordered the generic brand! She kept interrupting me and again I had to tell her to let me talk. I asked why wasn't I called to be informed about this that way I could have gone to another pharmacy to find this inhaler. She gave me no answer I guess since I asked her to let me talk. I know we are another number in the system but when our kid can't breathe and we need this prescription it becomes a big deal and my daughter had already been 9 days without because they never informed me!!!! I thankfully found the inhaler at another pharmacy! Will never use this pharmacy again. read more

If I could give a 0 I would. Worst experience I've ever had at a Pharmacy. I was denied a prescription that I use daily because my insurance only covered the generic and not name brand. The pharmacist didn't allow me to pay out of pocket, which I have done in the past. I have also had this prescription filled here multiple times. I need to get a photo printed today and I stopped by Walgreens at first and it took 20 minutes to order my photo then I waited about an hour just for them to tell me that they didn't have 8x10... This is one of my favorite CVS stores! I'm a couponer & finding a clean CVS with good vibes is hit or miss. The associates are very helpful with answering questions & helping me with my pile of coupons at checkout. I took away a star because stock is also hit or miss. Haircare products will always be out of stock for weeks at a time (specifically the products needed for Extrabucks promos). Bums me out I can't count on finding everything I need here. read more

CVS Pharmacy hours show it closes at 8pm, the drive through was closed 10 minutes before 6pm. I went inside to get medication my wife really needs. The pharmacist says we close at 6pm and we are not helping anyone else after this person... of course the person at the cashier in front of me.. How fair is this: when I was inline before 6pm, my wife's medication was sent to this CVS. I can't just go to another location smh The Pharmist says we close at 6pm come back tomorrow. Sorry for venting, I just feel this was wrong. If you can help a person why wouldn't you: These type of people who look the other way. It could be someone's much needed heart medication. read more

I would give this pharmacy a zero if I could. I went a couple times to get a prescription there, first and second time They gave me half my prescription. Now I've been going there quite frequently and I kid you not, they get my prescription wrong EVERYTIME. Either the wrong item or half the prescription. And when I go back to get the corrected items, they refuse to correct their mistakes because I "already picked up" my prescription. Absolute worst staff. They frown upon you and do not have any customer service skills whatsoever. read more

I love, love,love the people that work here! Dealing with covid testing, sick people not feeling well and the pressure to do their job all while giving the best possible care to everyone is not easy! Thank you to all of your employees. There is a Asian woman with glasses that helped me last week. I needed a test done and she was so pleasant. I am a loyal customer of this store for about 14years but one of the old female cashier/staff is very rude!!!! And getting worst since last year. She is a bit old, black/red wine dyed hair color. After she answered my question, I saw that she rolled her eyes and heard she was talking shit about other customers to her coworker.
