This is by far the worst experience I've had coming to this CVS. I have a lot of health problems and by no exaggeration I've been here at least 100 times. My drive thru code expired 2 times! I didn't even know that was a thing. There is no excuse. When I got here it was the top of the 3rd inning on the Dbacks game and when I left it was the top of the 6th. I come here for the Pharmacy more than anything else. While my visits are very rare, I like being able to usually go into the store quick get my prescription and then leave. This most recent visit it was not as quick because even though I had called ahead to make sure that the item was ready, the person who was helping me was looking literally in like 10 different places to find it and they couldn't find it for at least five minutes. I let them know I had called just before I had arrived and was told it was ready so it's there somewhere. I don't know what happened there, but this was the outlier of my experiences at CVS. The rest have been pretty quick and organized. The one thing I do wish CVS would change about every experience is the excessively long receipt that I don't need. I am so beyond done with all cvs locations, ive called literally 7 times trying different things each time just to get connected to a person or at least leave a voicemail and every time i get more and more infuriated with the voice system they have set up. I don't think theres a way to actually get any use out of calling them if you have any questions at all. Ive also had so many issues with filling my prescription's its pretty much expected each time that I'm gonna have to go through a bunch of bullshit just to get my medication. Last time i was up super early so i decided to go when this cvs said it was open which was 7 am, well the pharmacy didnt open till 9 which on the sign i actually read it wrong because it was the only day of the week that had it open at 9 and the rest was 8 so i guess i missed it. So i waited till 8, well 8 came along and they opened up the gate, she starts checking me out and then she gets confused because she cant check me out. We were trying to figure it out until it clicked in her head that they dont open the pharmacy until 9! so she suggests i go to the 24/7 one which is 5 miles but i have an hour to wait so i take the drive. They tell me they cant transfer it because it's a narcotic... so im like what the fuck! I go back and wait till 9 and she asks what happened and i tell her and she said "oh thats weird because we just changed it last week so that we actually can transfer it" i was in disbelief. Lord how can this company get any worst, fix your damn automated voice system cvs! If i ask to see a person, just fucking transfer me to a person! read more

I learned that the "new norm" for lingering coughs after sickness is now 4-6 weeks. That's rough. The pharmacy is pretty good. They are very helpful and knowledgeable and always try the best to help you if you run out of meds. They always are helpful to put it on a discount card if the medicine isn't covered by insurance. That's amazing. They get medicine ready super fast whether you call in or do a walk in to refill a prescription. I like shopping here for makeup cause it's always in stock. When you go to Walmart all of the makeup is locked up. The associates are pretty friendly and helpful. It's never ever too busy here no matter what time i go. read more

While in AZ wanted to get cholesterol checked. A Labcorp next to Chandler Hospital would not do it. The Minute Clinic verified that it was covered by insurance and then scheduled the appointment the next day. I got the results in 8 minutes. The Nurse Practitioner was great and efficient. They also have an InBody scanner (see photo) where you can get your body composition done. It costs $39 or if you buy 2 for $74 you get 3. Or if you buy 3 for $99 then you get 5. I think these are good prices compared to other places, especially with the discounts. I posted a photo with the hours for the Minute Clinic but for the InBody you have to go between 10am-6pm because there is a different person to do the InBody rather than the Clinicians for the clinic. read more

The immunization appointment I made went smoothly. I had booked the date and time online two weeks prior. On Nov 17th, 2022 the experience was friendly and efficient. There was a bit of a wait for the elderly couple ahead of us having their shots but I didn't mind. (Have to respect the elders.) :) After we were appointed to the private room, our identifications were verified and the shot was administered. In minutes we were on our way. If it was based on how the one dark-haired male pharmacist treats people I would give 0 stars. The vaccination techs and most of the other techs are fabulous. The male pharmacist I mentioned is surly and a horrible man. He's a jerk whether you go in or are in drive thru and he LIES. Caught him in a lie today and called him on it. Horrible customer service from him. Idk how he keeps a job. If you see him he always has blue scrubs and sometimes a lab coat but always worn down tennis shoes, so unprofessional. We went in for vaccines, were following the app instructions to wait by the pharmacy so we sat down at the vaccine waiting area, and he angrily told us if we were waiting for vaccines we had to check in at the pharmacy. Buddy - we checked in on the app and it told us to proceed to the waiting area by the pharmacy. Not to check in at the pharmacy. Stop taking your hemorrhoids out on the customers. read more

In the past three years, I have not ever been able to pick up a prescription on the first try. My doctor calls it in, I wait two hours and up to 24 hours, it does not matter. When I go through the drive thru to pick it up I am always told it's not ready and I'll have to come back in an hour. This happened again today and it was for a box of hypodermic needles which my veterinarian called in while I was still at the office and I heard the tech calling it in. I went an hour later to get it, nope, not ready. I said it's literally just a box of needles. I was told that they needed to create a profile... for my dog. They will not fill any prescriptions until you go to get it. Even if it's urgent, they will pull the same stunt. It's the worst pharmacy there is. read more

Just had the most terrible experience at this CVS location...... not fully on CVS' part, but rather the extremely rude employee that works there. I visited this CVS location to get a lightweight bronzer/foundation. While looking at a specific brand/type I noticed the ones in the front were open already.... They had no outer wrapping and when the cap was removed there was no existing seal. So as it is at ANY cosmetics store, I figured the ones that are already open were the "Testers". I put a very small dab of one on my wrist, and a very small dab of a differing shade (which was also open already with no seal) on my opposing wrist to see which color matched best. It was then I was greeted by an employee, whose appearance let's just say, was less than professional. She yelled at me "Mam those are not samples". I apologized and stated that I completely thought they were the testers as they are open. THEN THE EMPLOYEE ACTUALLY YANKED THE BOTTLE THAT I WAS HOLDING OUT OF MY HAND, and then proceeded to scold me about how now she has to place the 2 that I tested into damages. I proceeded to apologize and explain to her that they were already open and there's no wrapping or seal on either. She continued to scold me like a child saying that I should seemingly already be aware that even though the 2 products which were already opened, are not for testing purposes. She then stormed off and proceeded to yell at another employee. I have never in my life been treated this poorly by a retail associate. CVS I hope you recognize that this employee of yours truly damages the brand that you have built. To make matters worst, I believe she wasn't a lower level employee either, as she wore slacks and a button up shirt (both of which were way too tight). Extremely disappointed and furthermore will avoid ever visiting and supporting this location going forward. (Didn't catch the employees name, but she had long dark brown/black hair that was atop her head in a messy nest-like fashion). read more

I hurt my toe while I was in AZ visiting and had to stop here for some over the counter medical supplies. 1. The store was clean. 2. Plenty of parking. 3. Plenty of medical supplies available. There is a pharmacist also that can help if you have any questions. 4. The store was not very busy and the lines went very fast. 5. Bathrooms haven't been cleaned since the late 90s and the carpet looks like one big sewage leak. In addition there is trash all over the parking lot and the landscaping/weeds is offensive. Very helpful pharmacy! I had a minute clinic appointment yesterday am and the script for meds didn't go through to my pharmacy. So I drove the 20 minutes back in the pm ( at about closing time) and the place was so busy. Four people working pharmacy and one in minute clinic. The nurse practitioner was so busy , but she sent the script to the pharmacy and it still didn't go through! Rusty, the supervisor was amazing and called her and she gave me a paper script! So many people in line, but because I had been at a 11 am appoint and it was now 5 pm; rusty pushedy meds through! So professional and caring. Many people were throwing questions and complaints and Rusty handless it like a champ!!! read more

The pharmacy at this location is so poorly managed. I've gone to two doctor's appts in the past week, each visit resulting in a different prescription, and this CVS takes HOURS to fill them. I was finally able to get through on the phone after my first appt and asked for my prescription to be expedited. The pharmacy tech sighed and sounded annoyed, but they did get the prescription filled about an hour and a half later after my call. After my second appt today, I've called four times to expedite my next prescription, but no one ever answers. I keep sitting on hold for over 20 minutes multiple times but it seems that no one cares to answer the phone. Every other CVS I've used is able to fill prescriptions within an hour have answered their phones in a prompt manner. I just transferred everything to a different CVS location. read more

My Cobra insurance expired but I needed 2 medications refilled. My total was over $400.00! I opted out of one scripts and got a 30 day supply of my cholesterol meds instead of 90 days and paid $65.40. I went to Albertsons Pharmacy and was offered Good RX so for a 2 month supply I was charged $12.35. I've been doing business with them for over 20 years. I will never step foot in a CVS again. I stopped in and went directly to the pharmacy. Although there was a line the staff working acknowledged my presence and said they would be with me shortly. I asked where I could find a specific OTC nose spray and I was directed to the correct location. I grabbed two different sprays and proceeded to ask the pharmacist if I would have any issues using both. He informed me using both would cause a rebound and offered his opinion on which to use. Great group of people working in the pharmacy and I would advise paying there as opposed to the front register. read more

It's time for an update of CVS - If you are not using your Extra Care card and utilizing the Extra Bucks program you are just throwing money away. It's an awesome program! I search the ad every week to find out which items are on sale that will have the Extra Care bucks rewards. If you purchase these items you get money back! You can use the rewards on your next shopping trip. For example this week I got 3 12 packs of root beer. They were 3/$10 but I got $3 in Extra Care bucks back! It was a great deal! For the most part this is a CVS like any other. However, they do have the small clinic in this one. This was useful as we got the TB test we needed for our daughter to participate in a medical program for school. The staff was friendly, and the wait time was reasonable. I have never been so annoyed in my life I was going to the pharmacy to simply get a TB test for my new job the first visit was super nice the lady was very talkative asked me about my new job overall a good experience. All I was told was to come back Sunday at 11:30 to get my results and my paperwork to give to my job so that's what I did. I haven't even stepped into the office yet my name was called I am walking in the lady cut me off completely in the middle of talking and ask where my paperwork is I reply with I don't have paperwork I wasn't told to bring anything she gave me a piece of paper I didn't know I was supposed to bring it I can run home and get it I'm sorry. She them YELLS at me in front of three people sitting outside and says are you serious you don't have your papers you had one job and you didn't even do it so I sat there in silence well she rolled her eyes at me said something under her breath filled out a single piece of paper handed it to me in the rudest way possible so I grabbed it and walked out and she once again rolled her eyes and continued to whisper. read more

If i could i would give no stars. I noticed on my medication account online through my insurance that there was a medication that was filled here i wasnt aware of. I contacted my insurance and was told they mixed me up with my twin sister and filled an antibiotic under my name. I find this very un-ethical, and completely screwed up that they didnt check the name and notice it wasnt me picking this up. Not only am i now worried about my identity, but now worried about my overall medications. What if i needed this medication and was told i already filled it prior? THIS IS WHY COSTCO PHARMACY IS WAY BETTER THAN CVS. So since CVS screwed up on there part i now have to go down there monday and make sure they take this off and put it under my sisters insurance. Might i add me and my sister have different health insurances. I will never go back to this company for anything again. read more

Very upset with the service today. My family and I have been going here for years, and are used to getting great service. With everything going on right now with Covid-19 you would think we would all be showing one another compassion and kindness. My mother is an at risk human with her medical conditions and all she wanted to do was get her medicine today. When she simply asked the cvs pharmacist a question and ask the lady could she slow down( over the phone) the lady told one of her colleagues I don't have time for this and was rude/ combative. My mother heard that and started to cry. She doesn't feel good and just had some questions and I think to feel and hear the unkindness in someones actions and words was not what she needed. My mom works in the medical feel and she knows there's a lot going on, as she deals with patients. I think we need to remember to be kind as we are all scared. I think as for the CVS pharmacist lady who was talking to her, maybe you could have a bit more compassion and kindness; you never know what others are going through. We all don't have time, but when your working it's your job and you have a duty to fulfill. What if someone said that to your loved one or mother. So I ask you in this time try and be more patient, specially when others are on limited funds and trying to survive. I hope you have a good day and learn from this experience.
