We came to pick up large photo prints for an upcoming celebration . Service was good and we were in and out pretty quick.

If Walgreens goal was to strive for the worst, they wouldn't change a single thing. We've listed this location as our pharmacy for as long as they've been open. I get it. The insurance industry sucks and that isn't their fault. But for the love of monkeys! Don't make it worse!! I turned in two refill prescriptions this week. Both were promised in their app for two day fulfillment. Each day, the app reported that they had been delayed. One of the two was insulin. Can't live without it, people! Delay. Delay. I called last night to get the story. One was just being slow. The insulin was out of stock. Of course, nobody ever communicated that little fact. But it will be in tomorrow. You can pick the other one up tonight. I decided to pick both up after work tonight. Guess what. Still no insulin. What about the other one? Instead of filling it, it was CANCELLED!! But we can have it ready for you in twenty minutes. Why was it canceled? Well, after 7 days they are canceled if not picked up. They never filled it for me to pick up! You don't get to cancel MY prescription if YOU never filled it! If I don't pick it up for seven days? That's on me. Cancel it. But YOU don't get to fail and get a reset for free without telling me! It's insulin people. I'll drive to Tucson if I have to. We're on the verge of switching all of our business to CVS. Walgreens, tell me why you deserve to keep my family of four. Bad even for a Walgreens. They almost never have the medications ready on time. They're so poorly staffed that they don't stock their inventory in a timely manner. We'll be transferring our medications to CVS on Pecos. read more

I go to Walgreens often for my body lotion and SOME makeup such as my lipsticks since they have Covergirl which blends well with my off-brand lip colors. I walked in and was surprised to see a recognized face of an employee who I knew worked at another establishment I have visited. Glad that he found his happiness! This location is one of the few that sells products that are no longer available at other locations which was why I drove here. If you're looking for a particular product and can't find it. Check here! I love Walgreens although I am not a fan of how they changed their points program. I'm updating my review from 9/23. 2 months after I moved to Chandler. I thought the pharmacy was good at that time. I was wrong. THEYRE GREAT, AMAZING STUPENDOUS!. The pharmacist, I don't know her name, is the best I've dealt with my whole life. I'm 61 yrs old. She always has my rx's ready and will go out of her way to help me. I went to this location 40min away from my home. Most convenient to me. I went to go take a passport photo. The lady assisting me let out a big sigh and rolled her eyes. This rating is for the pharmacy who never fills a prescription in a timely manner. They also don't alert you when your prescription is ready like they say they will. They have a drive through but it is incredibly slow even when you are the only car. I keep trying to use them but they fail every time. I'm switching pharmacies and wouldn't recommend anyone ever use them. Horrible. read more

Apparently The pharmacy was having computer issues. Monique , the pharmacist could not get my insurance card into the system. Instead of admitting it was her system she claimed Walgreens did not accept my insurance and denied I had ever used it at this location. After a long wait I asked to pay for the medicine without the insurance card. When I asked the Pharmacist for her name so I could deal with my insurance she stopped charging me, moved me to another window and said very loudly "I'm sick of this." I told Monique she was being very unprofessional and she replied "you threatened me." Monique explained that asking for her name was a threat! Eventually someone else took my card and called the insurance company. Guess what?! My card was now magically accepted. Monique did not say a word. I will never comeback here again. Horrible pharmacy staff. Very rude, confusing etc. these people should never be doing what they are doing. The pharmacist on on 03.06.23 was incredibly defensive when I asked who the person in charge was. The person helped me was either messing with me or NOT inteligente at all. Every time I come to this walgreens. I see walgreens employees smoking near the front of the store and throwing their cigarettes butt everywhere! Walgreens is supposed to be a pharmacy/drug store! Shelves in store are always empty! Outside trash can are always full, and the parking lot is dirty, trash are everywhere. Pharmacy never has my medicine! This Walgreens is so poorly staffed and the staff who work there are very unhappy. Photo orders are never ready (I've been sent to other locations several times), there are long lines at check-out due to being understaffed and the pharmacy is always over-extended. I feel so bad for them, they are alway drowning because they never have enough people and they are managing drive through orders as well as in-store. My vaccine appointment was not in their system today and they accommodated me anyway after a very long wait, which was nice. I heard the very upset pharmacy cashier calling the manager & threatening to leave because she is tired of being understaffed. I'd recommend staying away from this particular location. read more

If you need a Walgreens for your prescriptions, make sure you do not pick this branch. They are constantly understaffed and slow. And, I just went to the drive through at 5:55 PM, was the next person in line and when I got there at 6:01, they told me they were closed. Normally, this would not have been a big deal. But, this is yet another time they have disappointed. The staff is on the slow side and never customer centric. You would do best to choose another location. Does the pharmacy line sometimes get backed up? Yes. Is that a hinderance to the customer experience?...only if you are in a rush and walk in with an attitude that you demand expedited service. This isn't Carl's Jr., you can't have it your way. As for the comments on the rude pharmacy techs... people, please take a step off your soap box. You do not know the hours or days these people have to put in, especially now that Covid is running on year 2! Get over yourselves. I have been coming to this pharmacy for my Clairitin D for over 2 years. Are they effectively trying to work through each customer-Yes. Is it always "oh my gosh, good morning how are you, how can I help you"-no... but it shouldn't be either. They have not been rude in my instances, but I have also walked through this whole Covid/world shift with an open mind because I choose kindness daily. This was my home Walgreens growing up. I had moved to Scottsdale and the pharmacy's out in my area are always out of my prescription. So i'll make my way to this pharmacy, and everytime I do, they have filled my prescription in less than 20minutes so I can hurry home. Very thankful for their service. I have the flu and needed my medication quick. What happens? Countless phone calls asking if it is ready even though it was called in the day before. And then once I had finally gotten ahold of someone they had told me it would be 30 minutes and they would text me. 1 hour later I called the line back only to find out they had been ready e_e not using this pharmacy again. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star! Terrible customer service. The pharmacy employees are too busy to help the customers. Very unfriendly and the customer definitely does not come first. The drive through window is closed, for some reason, and they won't bring your item to the curbside pickup. That isn't very accommodating for your handicapped customers or those with other issues that prefer not coming into the store. DO NOT FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE. I came when they opened at 9 am, to get antibiotics and pain meds for my dog who j came back from the hospital. They told me it would take an hour to fill. By 3 pm I had heard nothing, so I called and they told me there had been an "issue" with it, due to them incorrectly listing my birthday as my dogs. But they assured me it would be ready soon after that. 6 pm, still no word. I call again and get asked to come get it tomorrow. Seriously!? I understand being understaffed but people need their medicines! If they had been honest upfront that they wouldn't be able to fill it today I would have just gone elsewhere from the beginning. I managed to get my prescription just before they closed for the day. If you are in serious need of medication, I recommend going anywhere else, as you probably won't get your meds the day you try to. read more

For Health Clinic: Nurse Practitioner Emily... YOU ARE AWESOME. Came back here on my very last day of a health screening needed for work. Don't show up without an appointment though because they can get very busy at times. I've been trying to get this health screening at CVS and you can't set up appointments online, you can only check in. This made it very difficult to arrange with having to work daily and their schedule. After several failed attempts at CVS Minute Clinic, I heard about Walgreens and they offered the same screening program with immediate results. BUT you can setup an appointment online. ahead of time. YEAH BABY. I showed up the day before to setup the appointment and was able to sign all the forms electronically ahead of time at their kiosk. Their system was very good. I got text reminder and all that good stuff. Once I checked in, of course I forgot my insurance card. Emily was extremely kind to wait for me while I went back to get my insurance information being that this was the last day. She was also very good and descriptive with everything she was doing. As busy as she was, she offered to do my vaccination as well and I honestly did not even feel a pinch. I was able to submit my screening on time and save a ton of money on my health insurance plan. Holy cow! The customer service in the pharmacy is horrid. It's the closest pharmacy to my house and I'm still going to switch. Gary (pretty sure that's his name) the pharmacy tech is just a miserable person. So rude and dismissive and I didn't even have an issue with my prescription. I just had a quick question. From reading other reviews I can see that I am not the only one who has experienced the customer service here at this pharmacy. Do better people. HEALTH CLINIC- I will never come back here. Nurse practitioner Debra was rude and degrading. Refused to treat me because my 1 year old was with me and literally said she didn't have time for me to print my insurance card. I had a scheduled appointment I was early for bytheway my appointment was supposed to be 5 minutes from now. And she said all this in front of a store full of other customers. Update: I filed a complaint with corporate and they were prompt to response. They scheduled a new appointment with the manager for us to see and made sure the previous nurse practitioner would not cross paths with us. We were taken care of and Walgreens health was very apologetic for our experience. read more

I called to make sure my prescription was ready and they told me it was and when I got there they said twenty more minutes and he told me to turn back around and come back then. I tried using this pharmacy after using CVS the last couple years. Big mistake. Called to ask about my prescription in the morning, and was told to wait an hour to come pick up. Came 3 hours later to a lady with an attitude unable to even find my prescription and then proceeding to tell me to wait an hour till it's ready. I drive back home, 20 minutes away from this god damn pharmacy, to receive a text that my prescription is ready as I pull into the drive way. I completely understand that pharmacies can get very busy and the wait isn't the problem. It's the lack of care in their communication. I'm more than willing to call and preplan around their workload for the day, it would just be nice if they have the decency to realistically work with their customers and try to at least act like they give a shit about the way they interact with people. Was told 15-20 minutes to wait for a prescription. It took over an hour. We were told that we could wait and that our name would be called over the speaker when it was ready. We walked around the store for probably 15 minutes then sat in the waiting area right next to the pharmacy. My brother has pneumonia (which is why we were getting medication) and his oxygen was low, he just got off work and was tired, and he was coughing up a storm the whole time. Hard to miss that a big man is sitting in your waiting area looking like crap and coughing like hell. The reason this is important is that finally after an hour I went back up to the counter to ask how much longer it would be (because he was really feeling sick and wanted to lay down.) I told the kid that I'm sorry to nag, but we were told 15 minutes and it had been an hour. He looked it up and said it was ready; they must have just forgotten to call it out. WHAT??!! Ok...even IF you forgot to call it our right away, how did none of the 5 or 6 people working there think "Boy, that man over there has been the only person sitting in our waiting chairs for about 45 minutes now, coughing his brains out and looking like hell...I wonder if he might be waiting for something...Oh shoot! We totally forgot to call it out!" Nooooope. I have a prescription to move from my old pharmacy across town but I think I'm gonna cruise over to a nearby CVS and see if they can do better. Photo Department - I have used walgreens for years for my picture prints. I had made an online order of prints from my wedding. The prints came out pretty horrible to the point I didn't want to bother framing them. I had first talked to a girl ( who was very nice and helpful) who doesn't work in that department so she took notes on what I was hoping they can do to hopefully make the pictures better. I've taken photography classes so I have an idea or two. I had gotten a call about an hour later and chatted with I believe the assistant manager. I felt like she was not willing to help and kept saying it's my photographer's fault on why the pictures came out the way it did. I was really not happy with the situation and her response. She had told me I can come in and talk with her but I would also have to bring documentation from my photographer allowing me to make the prints. I understood why she would need the document but felt more frustrated because I've never been asked this and felt like this was an excuse to try and not help me. I had never had this experience at rhe walgreens back in my old hometown. Shorter version...she did end up trying to help me and spent at least an hour (maybe more) trying to fix the pictures. Which is why I'm giving 4 stars. She had explained to me that walgreens has switched to "dry" process which might be a factor in the problem and it was harder for her to fix. I came to find out Target and CVS have the same process. (So I removed a star because of this new printing process.) I had tried Sam's Club a few days later to find that they do a "wet" process and the quality was much better! Walgreens does offer more options with editing photos though. read more

We have always had good service at this Walgreens. It is well maintained and carries a good variety of products, including some souvenir type items. The only thing keeping me from icing this location five stars is the drive-through pharmacy service. It's a great concept but not well staffed or something. Very slow and frankly frustrating. Otherwise no complaints for this store. read more
