I went in to buy some OTC allergy med which required me to pull a tab and purchase at the pharmacy. When it was my turn she informed me she needed to see an ID due to federal regulations (which of course I left in the car due to a quick stop on my way to the airport) I went and got it and zipped back in made my purchase which she put in a bag along with my receipt. On the way to the airport I pulled it out to take one and saw that it wasn't the Claritin I requested by giving her the card tag that clearly states what I needed. It wasn't even the same medication. With no time to go back, my husband took it back after dropping me off at the airport. When he went to do so they said it wasn't returnable. Really? You gave me the WRONG medication. The absolute worst automated system!!! You can't speak to a real person. After several attempts, and using the app I was still unsuccessful to get a prescription transferred. I called the actual front store and he refused to transfer me to the pharmacy and would only take a message. Headache especially when you're ill and need medication. read more

The manager was super gossipy, as whenever we walked by he was talking with a clerk about somebody who was cheating on his wife. We went in to get flu shots and Covid updates. We set up the appointments online and had a 6:30 appointment slot to get them and all of the paperwork was done so we could just walk in and get the jab. We were early. Fast forward to 7:00 and we were still waiting. The pharmacist was clearly overworked and they were unquestionably understaffed. He was rocking a pretty sweet attitude as well, as he ripped apart customers who didn't understand the directions he was giving them due to a language barrier. Horrible pharmacy. They are very busy and do not refill prescriptions in a timely manner. I had medicine called in from my doctor on a Friday. I don't went in to pick it up on Saturday and they said they didn't have it on hand and would have it by Monday. Disappointed but I understood the situation. I came back Monday and it wasn't ready. I came back Tuesday. Not ready. I called Wednesday (had to save gas) and guess what? Not ready. By the following Saturday I called to have it transferred out due to the delay. The tech on the phone was less than helpful or apologetic. I hope when they're in need, they receive the same service they offered me. Perhaps that will change their empathy towards their patrons. It's never taken me longer than five minutes to connect with an employee over the phone. People give bad reviews for medications taking too long to fill, but they understand that that's how busy pharmacies work? There is no other place that's gonna somehow be faster and better unless you go somewhere that isn't populated, Chandler/Gilbert is one of tha fastest developing areas in the states, stuff is gonna have longer lines in a booming community. This place takes care of me, I have called a couple times and let them know that I have an evening work meeting most nights and they were able to prioritize my prescription so I could pick it up in a timely manner. Just think, these people are the key to so many people getting their prescriptions, they deal with unstable and angry people sometimes right before turning to you to see how they can help, and they do a great job of not allowing a bad customer to determine how they treat the next person. I've read the reviews, especially the low score reviews, and if I could give those people their own personal reviews it would be "one out of five stars, no empathy for people on the job, complete lack of patience and awareness." I've had consistent good experiences at this CVS. First off, they are always good about filling my prescriptions and one time they were struggling to get a refill from my doctor in New York and they were able to give me a couple days' worth to hold me over. I've also recently been to the minute clinic two times, once for a sinus infection and once for pink eye and both NPs there have been really helpful and friendly. Dr. Mona Kamal is especially wonderful, made me feel super comfortable, and answered all my questions. The wait can take a bit (2 hours) but if it's close to you it's easy enough to put your name and leave as they'll text you when it's your turn and you have 30 minutes to go. I'll continue to go as needed (but hopefully not too often). read more

I made an appointment for my booster over a week ago and I come in, it's about a 30+ minute drive from my house so when I arrive they can tell me they don't have the Moderna booster. I'll have to go to the minute clinic inside. Because my appointment wasn't with the clinic that had me waiting for an hour. Mind you they send me cancellation notifications after 4pm. Prescriptions take more than 6 hours to fill....and still not ready when you go to pick it up. Average time to answer a call is 45 min if the robot doesn't work. I went online and made an appointment for the minuteclinic. I went in and noticed how cold it was inside. I complained so hopefully they will fix that. I checked in at the kiosk as instructed. Pretty easy. The nurse practitioner Hilary then called me back for my appointment shortly thereafter. Once inside the room it is set up like a real doctor's office. Much warmer in there too. Hilary was very pleasant and asked me all sorts of questions. She then did a test and diagnosed me with the flu. She gave me Tamiflu. I decided to have it filled at this pharmacy location as well. Staff was friendly and quick to process my order. Only 10 minute wait for the Rx to get filled. Overall very happy with the service I was provided. Hilary stated she has been there for years, so should be no problem getting in with her again if need be. read more

This CVS is the worst. Our insurance made us start using CVS and I couldn't be more frustrated. Everytime I come here they are understaffed and lack any customer service skill set. I have used this pharmacy for my monthly prescription refills for years with no problems. However, their tardiness in refilling prescriptions on auto fill is unacceptable. My prescriptions are still not ready for pick up 24 hours after auto fill date. The lines are ridiculous and nobody answers the phone. Obviously this is related to COVID but they need to step it up and extend their hours and hire more people. I have given them several opportunities to get their act together and I can't afford to continue to receive my prescriptions days after they were scheduled to be filled. Goodbye CVS :( read more

We used to have good experiences with CVS in general, and this one. No more. First, do not call... they just ignore the phone. Literally. You can walk in and watch them, and the phone system keeps announcing "8 calls for pharmacy... nine calls for pharmacy..." and they ignore it. Can't even be bothered to change the message to say, "Do not sit on hold, we will never answer you." When I asked, they said, "Oh, we've lost some people." Yet they have as many working there as ever before. Second, they do not fill prescriptions until you show up. Doesn't matter what the texts or web site says... you think it's ready, go get in line, and hear "Oh, that'll be just another 30 minutes". We're out. I hope people read these reviews as they are legit when it comes to dealing with this particular pharmacy. I was on hold for 45 minutes today, only to be disconnected. My husband went in out of frustration only to find the prescriptions they promised would be ready two hours earlier hadn't even been started. My husband said there were about 4 other people waiting, looking frustrated as well with their arms crossed. My husband was asked if he could come back in an hour for the prescriptions. He said no, you need to get them ready now. They obliged (which was appreciated, but doesn't negate the fact they weren't ready in the first place). The store manager was helpful in all this, but nonetheless, this pharmacy needs some serious work. I will not be filling here again. It's just too bad at this time. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever gone to. Not friendly at all. My prescription was for a generic brand and when I picked it up it was filled incorrectly. Not only that I had to wait for 15 minutes in line to get to the cashier and let them know I'm picking up, but when I was finally helped, they said that the one I'm picking up cost $200! My prescription was for a generic brand...No sorry, no apology about anything...all they said was I had to wait for another 20-30 minutes if I want it refilled with the correct one.
