I was able to get all my prescriptions, just in time when I needed them. I grabbed a couple small items from the store both times too, which was convenient to check out with my scripts. One item I bought had a broken pump, but I don't see how that their fault and I think I can fix it and use it anyway just the same. Overall I'd count on them again to get me my prescriptions and for odds and ends.

I had to get RXs filled on a Sunday when my regular pharmacy is closed. I wrote a check. The…read morepharmacist claimed-loud enough for everyone to hear-that my check was bad. I knew it wasn't-he refused to try and run it again. I needed the RXs so paid cash for them. I spent part of the next day at the bank and dealing with them about my "bad" check -which my bank said was fine. I filled out the review they requested on my experience shopping there and got an email to my PERSONAL account from the pharmacist reiterating that the check was bad! So I just got my bank statement and guess what went through? Yeah. The check was NOT bad and cleared my bank just fine-just like I knew it should have PLUS I had paid cash for the same RXs--so CVS got paid twice for my RXs AND embarrassed me in front of others that I write bad checks! Wow! Glad this isn't my regular pharmacy! Not shopping in there ever again-for anything! What a scam-telling me the check was bad, yet it cleared the bank and then requiring me to pay again to get my RXs!

Employee asked for our name, then to spell our last name and then to spell our first name. They're all pretty basic, but we weren't bothered by this. Beyond this necessary communication the employee said zilch to us. The woman was absolutely miserable. Once our prescription came through the window there was no "thank you," or "have a nice weekend." This was a huge departure from the super nice and engaging pharmacy manager who works here. Yikes. If anyone from Walgreens is reading this and you can figure out who was working the Edgewood Rd. drive-thru window on Saturday, 06/12/21 at 2pm, please encourage some additional customer service training. They run your prescription before they check to see if they have the drug you were prescribed in…read morestock. This locks you in with their pharmacy and then, when they don't have the drug (and this is not unlikely since they are small), they tell you to return tomorrow. Not good if you are on a schedule. I have a family member who is supposed to take a drug at the same time every day and their protocol has messed up the schedule now. This would be easy to fix: Don't run prescriptions through before assessing if you have the drug in stock, HyVee.

I agree with the first review-this store is very claustrophobic feeling (aisles are too narrow) and the store is dimly lit inside. It's a great place to stop if you need to grab basics: milk, bread, eggs and/or beer, but don't plan to find everything on your grocery list.
