Terrible customer service and the pharmacists change constantly. They never seem to update patient records and the same conversations have to be had over and over again. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere (Shoprite) read more

The staff is getting worse every year!! I'm sorry for those who are good and trying their best but unfortunately they are far and few. my wife had to call insurance to verify coverage of meds she has been picking up here for years. The last few keep putting them under the wrong plan or are doing something wrong which brings the cost closer to the usual but is still more from a few dollars to over 70 dollars difference. They honestly have no clue so every month feels like it's going to be a fight. we need to change stores. whomever is the manager here needs to get this sinking ship in order. good help is hard nowadays but not when it's a "pharm-d". 6 figures to be that thick headed?! really? people please check your prescription and always question your charges here. read more

I have been a long time customer of CVS. Earlier this week I went to CVS to pick up prescriptions that I ordered. The tech came to the window with a prescription that I used a while back . I told her exactly what I ordered and she responded that I may have called a wrong pharmacy for those. I went inside to speak to the manager and he could not find my refills. But after an hour of trying to find my scripts.. he blurted out: "oh here! There's a refill right here on my computer screen". There is ALWAYS some sort of problem with getting my medications. being told that they are ready for pickup, and then finding out they are not. unable to find the perscriptions etc. endlessly frustrating. long lines only to be told 'we dont have that ready yet' HOW your app told me it was ready for pickup ! no thank you, i will be finding a new pharmacy. read more

I felt that I had to go to urgent care for a script for a uti they were very quick and sent the prescription over; I did some other errands before going to pick up my script and went 2.5 hours later; I was in line with a carriage of other items and the line closed so they could go to lunch; This was terrible as most businesses unless it is a special occassion do not all close for a 1/2 hour for lunch which apparently all nj cvs pharmacies do; this is totally outrageous; I understand the need for lunch but not the entire staff! Ordered a canvas print online was not ready as promised and had no frame. Order was complexly done wrong with no apology or no sense of responsibility. I asked only for a duplicate copy of my picture to be destroyed or given to me. The manager was young, inexperienced, and very rude. He was threatening and insulting to the point that I called to report him. Sad that cvs doesn't train or take the time to see some people should not be managers. With another CVS right up the street I would not waste my time going to this store to be abused for no reason. Shame on you CVS and corporate if they do nothing to correct this problem. I have had to bring my children here many weekends when the regular dr offices have been closed. Thank you CVS!!! The care and kindness you give is so appreciated. It can take awhile to be seen...but that is because the patients aren't rushed while in the examination room. Sometimes I think thIs place is a better bet than the actual pediatrician. Seriously, the CVS folks called me the next day to check on my son (after my most recent visit). They diagnosed my kid with flu A, gave him tissues, a mask and a bottle of water because he was becoming dehydrated. Care. They gave us care. And They cared. Thanks. read more

Monthly, I use the drive through option to pick up prescriptions. The pharmacy personnel are always super polite, answer any questions and don't rush you. The times that I've gone into the store I've found it very clean, well organized and with polite and knowledgeable clerks. read more

I called Cvs to find out if my husband's prescription was ready because no one had gotten in touch with me. They never answered the phone it kept ringing and finally I was disconnected. I had to drive to Cvs to find out that they had never gotten the prescription to fill. Meanwhile my husband's being operated on tomorrow and he doesn't have the proper medication. If they simply answered the phone I would've known and been able to get in touch with the doctor. I am infuriated with the lack of professionalism. Even though there is a 24 hour CVS less than a mile down the road, I prefer this store for several reasons. First the lines never get long, which as a former employee of CVS is an important goal, and a majority of the items are always stocked and/or quickly replenished. The pharmacy is quick with taking care of prescriptions and the pharmacists truly care about the customers they serve, at least the ones that I have met. Overall a great neighborhood pharmacy and convenience store. read more

Drive thru pharmacy is the best part about this CVS. Worse part is the pharmacy unfortunately. They will send you a text letting you know your prescription is ready, when in reality it is not. Need a flu shot? Like the sign said, walk in any time. I'm horrible with shots/needles, but the attendant was very careful. It's a nice sized CVS, but I don't know why the parking lot has to be so big--I was impressed! Be careful though--the entrance to the lot is a sharp turn from the same side of the highway CVS is on. If you're coming from the other direction, you're going to have to go a way down the road before you're going to find a legal u-turn. read more

This CVS location is a clean, convenient storefront on a busy corner. The minute clinic usually has a short wait time and gets the job done for a minor ailment. While there is usually only one register open with a cashier, there are also multiple self-check out lanes available. read more

The pharmacy team is completely disorganized. Don't even bother making an appointment online for your shots. I booked an appointment online for a flu shot and when I arrived before my time, they told me I wasn't in the system and to stand in the "drop off" line. When I finally was able to speak to someone I was told I had to resubmit all my information and I may have to wait for up to an hour (note that no one else was waiting for a flu shot). I was then told that even if I made an appointment online they don't honor them. Unsure why CVS offers an online service. read more

I have been going to this CVS on the corner of 23 and Stevens Ave. in Cedar Grove, NJ for at least 10 years and like their pharmacy staff, especially Michelle. The non-pharmaceutical staff is also generally pleasant and helpful. However, today I had an infuriating experience. CVS had emailed me a 40% coupon on any one vitamin product. Off I went to the store, 8 miles round-trip, only to find that nearly all their vitamins were on sale which invalidated my coupon (not usable on sales or promotional items). I asked the manager to adjust the price for me, taking into consideration that the coupon was functionally worthless. She would not help me, saying that the problem was mine, not hers. I asked her to call the CVS 800 number, and she would not. When I got home, I called the CVS customer service number, and the first rep, Tony, hung up on me after saying that I could come back to the store, buy the vitamins at their price, wait 48 hours, call CVS and ask them to process the coupon, hope they agreed it was valid, and then wait till the $ was put onto my ExtraCare card. I declined to make another trip back and then have another customer service nightmare. John, the 2nd CS rep, told me the same thing. Will head off to Costco and make this purchase without any hassles and probably a better price. read more
