Avoid this location for vaccine administration. I only went here because it offered the most times…read morefor the Shingles vax. I showed up and the same woman behind the pharmacy counter ringing up customers is the one giving the shots. The administration area is a tiny screened off area next to the pharmacy register and guys were banging into in while delivering things on wheelie carts. I don't think this person was well trained. She didn't explain what she was doing and didn't pinch my arm to avoid pain. She barely said two words to me. It was my first time receiving this vaccine and nothing was said about side effects -- just "you're all set" when we were done. Imagine someone who is nervous about needles, or a kid? But of course, this is not her fault -- it's CVS's fault who should have a dedicated person to give vaccines who is well trained at times when they are being offered. How can she be expected to ring up customers and give out vaccines at the same time? I'm sure she rushed through it as a result. I wish doctor's offices administered this vaccine rather than having to deal with this shoddy experience.

Worst pharmacy:…read more Pharmacist gave incorrect dose of medicine to my daughter and initially said he was correct. 2 pharmacist friends confirmed he was wrong; he then blamed the doctor (who showed us what he sent in) Systems are always down They do not check answering service for refills and claim doctors did not call in when in fact they have. Claim meds need prior authorization only to realize they were entering in an old script that had been changed a year ago. Lack of ability to pivot, service customers, very slow, defensive and lack empathy. Lastly, perhaps CVS wide, but the "lunch hour" they take when everyone is leaving work to fill scripts is rather off putting

Years ago I stopped going to this CVS because I thought the techs in the pharmacy dept. were…read moreunprofessional. My experience today exemplifies why I avoid going to this CVS location. I could not find an OTC item on the shelf, so I went to the pharmacy area under the "Consultation" sign. A woman who works in the pharmacy area looked at me as I waited. I looked at her. She did nothing as I waited and after we made eye contact with each other. Since she did not approach me after we made eye contact, I went to the regular line. The employee told me in this area to go to the original "Consultation" area after I explained to her that I could not find the item on the store shelf. The woman who made eye contact with me was now on the phone. I waited some more. Finally, a male employee (tech? pharmacy manager?) came over to the "Consultation" area and I explained that I could not find this item on CVS' shelf and that a doctor recommended this item for a family member. He then left the pharmacy area and we walked to the section where this item should have been. The space where this item should have been was empty. He indicated that I should go to the CVS store down the road to see if they had this item. I asked him to call them to confirm they had this item (first). He said that this was a store item (vs. an item that was a prescription in the pharmacy area). I then asked him if we could see if this item was stocked in this (original) location's back room. We then walked to the front of the store where he contacted an employee to find out. He then shared this "strategy" with the cashier/employee who was in the register area. The employee then came from the back room, spoke with the male employee, used his mobile device to look for the item and returned to the back room. He returned with a number of these items. I initially bought 2 of them and then asked for more. This was another process. I had to ask for a bag for my loose items because the cashier did not ask me if I wanted one. While the employees were polite, I sensed a pattern where the employees did not want to help the customer. Telling the customer that they will look in the back for an item that is not on their shelves in the original store location that the consumer went to is more convenient to the customer than having them to go to another CVS location. Especially after a customer told an employee that a doctor recommended this OTC item to them. Asking a customer if they want a bag for the loose items they purchased should have been an automatic question. I have been to other CVS locations (in San Francisco) where the employees are helpful and professional & actually do their jobs. These CVS employees could care less about customer service. Unbelievable. CVS charges premium prices for many products, yet their customer service is incredibly bad.
