To get a prescription you need to sign in on a computer before anyone talks to you, I signed in on a computer somebody came over and I said I need to give my insurance information. You have to go to another computer,, I did sign back in had to wait for a person to come to talk to me they put my insurance information in. Called my name 15 minutes later I had to sign in on the computer again to get my medication. Absolutely ridiculous who wants to do this when you don't feel good. I have used many CVS pharmacies never a problem. I moved to Carmel NY and I can't believe all the mistakes and wrong prescriptions I have received!! Call many times, leave messages and never get a call back. Have been left without medications for days. I am a senior citizen and need to take my medication. If I could give zero stars I would. The level of unprofessionalism I experienced at this CVS pharmacy was unbelievable and it was mainly because of two female employees behind the counter. Instead of treating customers with basic respect, they were rude, dismissive, and acted as if helping me was a burden.One of them rolled her eyes when I asked a simple question about my prescription and the other was openly gossiping about customers while people were standing right there waiting to be helped. It was uncomfortable and extremely unprofessional. When you go to a pharmacy you expect care accuracy and courtesy not attitude and disrespect. It's sad because CVS is a trusted brand but employees like these two ruin the entire experience. If management actually paid attention they'd realize how badly this reflects on the store. Been coming here since January- every month they are back ordered on my girlfriend's medication. Zero help from the pharmacist. More than one time the medication came in late after being back ordered but by the time they called us to come pickup the prescription has expired so they wouldn't give it to her. This is strictly for the pharmacy. I am unsure of how people who choose to work in customer service are also the same with a deep hatred for people. Having worked in retail, sales and with the public on many varying levels I can empathize with how difficult people can be. Add in that people are ill and I know that compounds the issue. However, when asked for a consult, the pharmacist should probably refrain from rolling her eyes and sighing with disdain, especially when she saw and vocalized it was my doctor's office who fumbled. If you can't find something at Riteaid across the street then go to this CVS. I always find the extras that I need there. Place is clean, bright, everyone is wearing a masks. This place is more expensive then Riteaid They have the self checkout which is nice but the cashiers are being lazy. Saw some guy get upset using the self check out and left his stuff on the counter. Horrible service from the pharmacy. I have had multiple prescriptions sent to them and the turn over time is ridiculous. They never answer their phone either. You have better luck at rite aid or even shoprite. They send texts that say my prescription is ready but then when I come in to get them they said it's not even ready or that they don't have what I need. They need to get their act together. There's probably a staffing shortage or the work environment is really that bad that they can't keep employees. Don't go here, not worth your time read more

The pharmacy staff are very nice and helpful. But not the guys in the front. Very very unprofessional. At my time there I witnessed these guys making the customers feel like they are being bothered. They even raise their voices. I started to use this store for my main pharmacy but due to the rudeness of the guys in the front I am being forced to use rite aid in Carmel on route 6. This is the most inefficient pharmacy. The wait times they quote for your prescription are inaccurate. Most of the staff in the pharmacy are rude and complacent. Today I stopped to pick up some prescriptions, one was ready and one was not. I was told that they needed an hour to process the second one. I ran other errands and returned to the drive through. I was asked to "LOOP" around because the script wasn't ready. With 5 cars in line behind me I was looking at another hour in line with my groceries in the car. After arguing with the attendant. I drove off. I stopped at the Rite Aid in Brewster, gave them my information and they had all my drugs transferred and the prescription ready in less than one hour. Do yourself a favor avoid the STRESS of doing business with them. read more

"Many businesses are doing their best during covid." NOT TRUE FOR CVS. This pharmacy is a repeated nightmare. I sincerely feel like I am trapped in my own personal hell loop everytime I talk to someone here. The first time I came here, they flat out lied about having called my doctors office. The next time, they sent me a message saying all my scripts were ready but when I got there, they said it would be several hours. This time is the worst tho. They tell me that they need pre authorization to order the medicine. But that took 5 days to get. So now that I got it, they are telling me the meds have been out for several days and they are just now ordering more. Telling me that I cannot get my meds till Friday at the earliest. The pharmacists here are rude, crass, uncaring, and clearly they all hate their jobs and each other. I have heard spats between them in front of customers. I've heard customers come in for scheduled shots to be told they have to wait hours. Go anywhere else. I promise you. You'll regret going here. read more

They have no idea what they're doing at this cvs, they are so slow & do not tend to their drive thru window at all. Half the time the drive thru isn't even open, and if something is wrong with your script, they won't call you. You have to keep tabs on it yourself or you'll never get your medicine. Finally a CVS that was so needed long ago at Carmel! Im happy! Rite aid is no competition for CVS ! Prices are always better than Rite Aid ! While you do not expect much from CVS pharmacies, as they have little in the way of customer service, this particular branch is worst I have ever experienced. It usually takes three of four trips to get a prescription filled, for one pharmacy screw up, or another. Today, I went to their drive-through to pick up medication they said was ready, Unfortunately, they decided to close early; it was 3:40, in the afternoon. Their hours are clearly posted as open until 10 pm. Who knows why they chose to close, they don't answer the phone? I wonder how many more trips I will have to make, before they will give me my life sustaining medication? read more

This is the absolute worst pharmacy on the planet. Everyone is extremely nice, but there is a limit to my patience. There is no sense of urgency whatsoever. They are wholly disorganized, and cant find your prescriptions even after you've gotten text notifications saying theyve been filled. My doctor is 3 miles away from them, and the prescription was sent as I sat in their office. When I left the office I waited IN MY CAR for an hour before I went in to find out where my prescription was and why it was taking so long. They said it was busy (it wasnt). Totally unacceptable. I've had multiple bad experiences with my own prescriptions, and so has my boyfriend. So, as I continue to sit in my car and wait for my medication I will now finally write the review that I should have written long ago. And I'll never come back. read more

They take forever to answer the phone and often don't get calls. They often Miss billing targets by over charging copayments to customers.

Went to the doctor yesterday early afternoon. He sent in two prescriptions to be filled. I am signed up for text alerts and had not received anything. So first thing this morning I call and the automated person says they are still processing... what?! My symptoms in which I need this prescription has now gotten worse. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!! The pharmacy is terrible. I was on hold for almost 20 minutes. I finally had the pharmacist answer the phone. As I'm asking questions about prescriptions for my mother the pharmacist says he has to go on break and suggested I call back as he said again he has to go on break. He tells me again he should have already been on his break. Unbelievably bad customer service. It didn't matter that I had been on hold for several minutes. I don't know what would happen to customers on hold after me. Do they get left on hold or do they get disconnected? I understand people need to have a break, but this is ridiculous. Apparently CVS doesn't care about its customers. This is the same pharmacist that told me on a previous call to down load the CVS app instead of calling the store. I downloaded the app and it doesn't work for additional family members. I've addressed this situation with the CVS 800 number and the local pharmacy. No one can help, so I'm back to calling. I am seriously looking into changing pharmacies. Maybe if they lose enough customers they will consider having better service, but I doubt it. This is also the same pharmacy that has shortened their opening hours. It used to be open until 10 pm. It is now open until 9. The hours posted on the store still said 10. Now they open later at 9 am. Used to be 8. In addition to being closed for their break. Terrible. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS THROUGH THIS CVS. Came in from an Oral Surgery with the worst pain of my life picking up a prescription for Valium. I stood in line inside for 20 minutes while they helped a single customer every 5 minutes. Got to the register and they hadn't processed my prescription yet. I drive home and wait- the dental assistant had to hound them over the phone to get this prescription ready. I was told it was being filled at that moment. I call this CVS (again) and they say it will take 30 minutes. I wait 45 minutes to be safe, only to arrive with "we need 15-20 more minutes." Terrible pharmacy, terrible service, and I am going to be picking up prescriptions elsewhere from now on. read more

I needed a couple of photo prints for an ID card. In the past I had used the shipping center in Brewster -- nice folks but too expensive for me. I called CVS and Danielle said to come on in. I had a suitable picture on my phone. She was most helpful, led me through the entire process and got me exactly what I needed for the grand sum of 64 cents! I fill my severely disabled daughters medications here (seizure meds). Every month they charge us a high co-pay which should not happen because our insurance pays for it. each month they tell me I have to call my insurance. So I call. Insurance says nothing has changed. Someone at this CVS is not doing their job properly and it's causing me stress that I don't need. So each month, CVS "Fixes" the problem with no explanation. They say it's their system that's down. After relocating from the city, this CVS was very helpful with transferring all of my scripts. Yes, I had to learn the new layout, but the sale prices are worth any inconvenience (at first). There is a new service which is fantastic. The associates pick up your order and is it ready to go when you arrive. Parking is great and there's even a drive-thru on those days when I'd rather not leave my car ( kids asleep and don't want to disturb their sleep) for scripts. From the Manager and the Lead Pharmacist, to all of the associates, customer service is wonderful. If you don't see it, the Manager should be able to order the item you are looking for. read more

Urgent care called them and they said they had it but not sure why it wasn't in my bag. They used to be good but I am definitely switching. Fourth time I've had a very bad experience at this CVS; 3 were pre-Covid so the pandemic doesn't explain it. But now, after this latest experience, I'm writing a review. Such bad customer service in the pharmacy! It has now been 4 different people; I think 2 of them (definitely at least 1) were pharmacists. Borderline rude, act as if they're doing you a huge favor. I suspect it comes from the top; can't be sure. It can't be explained by a bad day. And try to call them! Or better yet, listen to the phones ring while you are waiting in line! They ignore them! I've let it ring dozens and dozens of times on occasion. Very disappointing, 4 out of 4 times now. read more
