Wanted to check out a Costco in this neck of the woods. Came in around 2:30pm. Pretty standard Costco with a few differences. The liquor is in a totally separate building and you don't need a Costco membership to buy there. All employees were friendly and seemed willing to help. Prices here similar to California. read more

Costco - Pepperoni pizza - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Brookfield, Connecticut

This is a place you give a review between three and 1 because this is a honest review from a guy who is honest. The goods are the staff is friendly and nice, always care for the people who walk through and always help out. The bad and this is things that is out of costcos control well in one way or another is the lines shown in the photo don't come here on the Tuesday before thanksgiving that is just the worst possible idea anyone could have, the selection in that regard is picked over for the holiday and people act like maniacs in the parking lot. The other bad thing is the food in the food court it's ok for how cheap it is but why would anyone eat here for good food? The food is mostly just ok at best, go to McDonald's across the street the food is more but sometimes that's worth it. All in all it was a 3 star experience, also shout out to that girl who got so scared when my dad almost slipped but he saved himself. That poor girl got so scared, I feel so bad man read more

I don't recommend using Instacart for your Costco shopping. I'm stuck with nearly $30 of expired turkey breast because I didn't check the date within the three day window. Costco is at fault for having expired meat out for sale (1 week expired). My Instacart shopper didn't check the date. Shame on you Costco! read more

The ladies room was gross today and the food court had dirty napkins and used utensils all over the self serve area. Awful. Clean it up Costco. read more

Not consistent with products or pricing, can't count on getting everything from my list. Bakery items also look better than what they taste. One decent thing was ciabatta rolls. Watch out for the name brand clothes they're just cheap made for Costco items. My membership barely worth it since every Costco is an hr away. I keep going with a list of items I've seen from digital media showing their latest good items yet they're not in this store. When I did find a trail mix I liked they discontinued it. read more

Living in Manhattan for a long time, Costco was never an option because if I bought more than one tube of toothpaste, I wouldn't have anywhere to store the extra ones due to having a tiny apartment. However, now that we spend some time in Connecticut, we have more room, which means we had to join Costco to buy large volumes of stuff. This is a Costco, so you know you'll get some insane deals. Five tubes of toothpaste for what you'd pay for two in the city. I like getting good deals on staples and this fits the bill. This store is pretty nice although it's a little overwhelming for me and it's sometimes hard to find things. I would definitely say things are located in semi-organized ways but sometimes you find the best deals in random places so you really have to wander around the entire store to make sure you're getting a deal. Checkouts are always busy but they've always been run efficiently when I have been there. There's so much stuff here, that I'll admit sometimes I feel anxious when I'm in this store, even though the aisles are wide and the ceilings are high. There's just really a lot of things stacked to the ceilings. Overall, when I need stuff from here, I enjoy the great deals. The parking lot is a bit of a bleep-show because nobody puts their carts back. read more

Costco used to be great (Brookfield CT store). Now, it is so overcrowded, sometimes just finding a parking spot is impossible. I have driven out of there without parking many times because of this frustrating growing problem. In the last 3-5 years, more than half the parking lot is filled with NY vehicles. Why can't they open a store over the border in NY?? The products are moved around a lot and time is wasted by looking for certain things. They discontinue items constantly. Also... since CT raised the bottle redemption to 10 cents, it is a nightmare trying to return bottles there. I have stopped buying Kirkland brand water bottles and seltzer cans, because of this. I grit my teeth and steel my nerves every time I go to Costco. It isn't a pleasure to shop there anymore. I would rather pay a little extra at the local Big Y or ShopRite and not be dealing with looooong checkout lines (why do they never have enough cashiers available when this happens?). read more

This is a great Costco. It's really big and there's lots of parking. It feels wide spread out. They have a lot more products stocked than some of the other branches. The customer service was really really great here. A really nice lady helped me find something I was looking for. She took her time and really looked and found it. The woman at the self checkout was really nice too. The manager was greeting customers. It was a great experience shopping here. It wasn't as crowded as some of the other locations. They have the gas stations there too and prices were good. read more

Brookfield CT Costco is our favorite Costco after Port Chester. The staff here are friendly, very well organized, lines move swiftly, and they get you checked out in a matter of seconds! As with shopping at all Costco stores: Do make a list before you go, or you can end up with a tremendous amount of inventory and pray you have enough space at home to store your bounty, although that's what many are doing with Bathroom Tissue lately! We have found the necessary COVID19 products here, TP, PT, Lysol, isopropyl alcohol, Latex gloves and yes, bathroom tissue! But you have to go at the crack of dawn. So, listen to that rooster calling you! :) **Wear masks** keep proper distance ** ** Gas/Petrol Station at this location. No cash Only Visa card ** *** Costco Membership Required *** ** Go early to beat the crowds. ** Good morning! and you're welcome! read more

Costco - Feels like we won the lottery! (Costco 9am, although they say 10am) ;) - (4/10/2020) - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Brookfield, Connecticut

After enduring four solid hours of testing at a major hearing aid seller, then gasping at their over-the-top cost, I headed off to Costco in Brookfield to try their Kirkland. Can't say if every Costco is as good, but this one has been spectacular. Their private test is long and detailed. And exacting. Turns out my visit was long overdue and sorely needed. Perhaps every hearing aid seller delivers the same results. For me , sounds were suddenly alive; clear, clean, bright, crisp discernable sounds. Which is very nice, but just my personal journey. It's how I got here that really matters. The preliminary test was exacting and the audiologist's patient attention to detail was impressive. It was sadly both humiliating and humbling to learn how poorly I was hearing. But the audiologist seemed to understand that, and remained kind and supportive and, I was sure, actually caring. My new ears (as I like to call them) arrived fulling programmed and ready to wear in about a week. After being fitted and tested I was asked to walk through the store. "Come back when you've done your shopping..." Then there were new question about comfort (both physically and audibly), the balance of background sounds, the sound of my own voice.... More adjustments, another walk, a few minor tweaks, and I was headed home. It was definitely not perfect after that. Yet no matter how minor or major a problem might have seemed to me, no matter my request for something only I could hear, it was resolved within minutes (or a few days at worst). There was never an added charge, never a hesitation. I'm only sorry I didn't go much sooner. It's well past a year now. My new ears - Kirkland Signature 10 (made by Sonova) - are still hearing flawlessly. Alas, not everyone has been as fortunate. This model has been discontinued and other brands are available. Fortunately it was never the device alone that impressed me - it's been the ongoing service. And I suspect that'll continue no matter whose brand is sold here. read more

Great prices and selections, love to come on weekends and shop for office treats. Never been disappointed.

My husband and I love to shop in Costco because of reasonable price and great quality especially for their fruit, dairy products and prepared food. During COVID-19, we didn't visit Costco for 3 months and we miss it so much. When we saw the lines outside the entrance, we would give up everytime we tried to go. We were so excited to see there weren't too many people on a weekend afternoon at their Brookfield location. Most of the shelves were well-maintained and organized. The product lineup is really different from other locations we visited in NYC. We love their plant section so much and brought a new pot home. All the staff wore masks and gloves. One of the best things that made us feel comfortable to shop there was the cashier counter set up. read more

What went well??? You should ask what didn't go well at Costco. Is there any other store as amazing as a Costco. We love Costco so much that when we travel we stop at different one as much as possible to see the variety of things they offer. This is our go to. We are empty nesters now, but when we had our boys at home Costco was a 2-3x/week venture. We love Costco. And who can beat those hot dogs for $1.50??? read more

My recent trip to Costco was a very unpleasant and stressful experience. As I was shopping, I noticed several staff members, whom I presume to be loss prevention, stalking me throughout the store, and invading my personal space. In many instances, these individuals made extremely close contact, and walked behind me and in front of me as i shopped through the aisles, in some instances standing less than a foot away from me. I also saw a man with his phone camera pointed in my direction, approaching me as i was looking for my family members. My family and I have been regular Costco customers for decades, and on this particular trip, spent around $1000 between us. I am a law abiding citizen and a loyal customer to Costco, and will not tolerate being stalked and targeted by employees with ill intent, making illegitimate assumptions. Intimidating honest, high-paying customers is a clear case of bullying and harassment, and makes me very hesitant to return and support a company that would allow their employees to behave in this way towards their customers. I hope that Costco changes their policies on employee conduct, to prevent this kind of hostility towards honest and loyal customers. read more

The food counter at this Costco needs to be closed for poor customer service. The pizzas are a bargain, but the staff is disorganized. On a recent Sunday we placed an order for a pizza, and our order was passed over several times for nearly 30 minutes. Other customers who ordered after us received their pizzas before us. The irony is the staff asked us what we're waiting for after just a few minutes, and we explained we ordered a pizza to go. They said - no problem. Then we waited 20 more minutes, and they asked - what are you waiting for? Our pizza! So disorganized! read more

Well my wife and I were finally back in the area after two years and they did get a Kirkland version of 5 hour energy drink but still don't have diet Dr Pepper. The reason I think they have gone down hill to a one star is the attitude of the cashiers. They wouldn't let me split the order between my wife and I and pay separately they claimed we were trying to cheat and not pay for two memberships. We had to tell them we are on a family plan in the same account but want to pay for our items separately. They claimed they couldn't do it. So I said yes you can, I pulled all the items out of the cart I wanted let my wife pay for hers then I went to the back of line let 5 people go in front of me then paid seperately. The attitude of the help is just really bad! read more

I don't go to Costco often, but we were in Brookfield and had time to kill. Some of the quantities are way too large since two of my kids have gone to college. It's nice to go in and still look around to find items you can't find anywhere else. The free samples are always a plus. There are two things that I dislike with this Costco. The parking lot always seems to be a nightmare. I'm not blaming Costco, it just always seems that people drive irrationally in this parking lot. Also the lines are always insane. It has eased a bit since they added self check out. The employees are always friendly and helpful. My favorite part about Costco is leaving. We usually get something from the food stand. Even with 10% inflation everywhere else, their hotdog and drink combo is still $1.50. Kudos to you Costco. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We also got the twisted churro which has made a comeback. It was off the menu for a little while. I'm guessing the popularity of churros has brought it back. Overall, usually a good experience at Costco. read more

Costco. I was dragged in kicking and screaming several years ago and now, like the rest of you, I'm a damn die hard fan. Dependable. Good customer service. You know the drill. If you're on the fence about anything, you can buy it and return it, I THINK, no matter what, no matter when. I've heard tales from people who work there that are pretty outlandish, like, someone returning a half finished bottle of Kirkland vodka and they had to take it back (which is insane because that vodka is Grey Goose at a quarter of the price, so COME ON). Which leads me to a slight complaint: the customers are often jerks. I feel like their generous policies encourages all the Karens and Phils of the world to shop here on the regular. The types who hoarde TP in the face of a pandemic. The types who make it impossible to ever find Clorox wipes again (as of 5/26 they are still out of them). But I'll stop complaining. This location is as good as you're going to find anywhere. The staff is nice. The store is laid-out as you expect. It's not as strict with the social distancing as Trader Joe's (barely anyone even looks down at the arrows on the ground, but that's because they are not consistent). The quality of their store brand products is legit. On a final note, their plants are looking lush and beautiful as ever this year. It's so hard to resist those 29 dollar large arrangement planters, but that price is pretty high for something that you can put together yourself for a fraction of the price (using last year's containers. GUILTY). read more

I love Costco. I've been to dozens. This is by far the worst one. The wait times are insane. The parking is always an issue. The checkout lines are ridiculous. I'm standing behind 12 other people in line as I write this. They seem extremely under staffed. I would rate every other Costco I've been to 5 stars. I'll give this one 2. Management doesn't seem to care... it would be nice to hear some explanation as to why they can't seem to be properly staffed with all the traffic this location gets. read more

This wasn't from my experience directly, but from a close friends. Two of my close friends visited this Costco recently, they were treated positively the whole time until they got to the registered. My friend was approved of their Costco card from the entrance, but they denied them payment when they got to the register and were being very rude. Even the manager of the store was being very weirdly rude. They had the audacity to let my friends shop for all of their groceries, to then have their time wasted by being denied, my friend was using her father Costco card to shop for him while he was ill. This is unacceptable by Costco because now my friend's father won't be able to get the essential things he needs because of unprofessional and fry baggers in Costco. If I was there they would have already put both my chicken bake and double chunk chocolate cookie in the bag like a good boy and girl...... Costco I will be back read more

I have been a loyal member since 2006, and todays incident is not acceptable to my eyes, I work in New York and have residence in CT. My son is always with me. while I am outside waiting , he goes in to buy milk and this is since ongoing for 2 years . Today in the Costco 200 Federal rd Brookfield , CT location as usual my son goes in , I wait outside, he was stopped and unable to purchase milk because they stated he is 16 years old and a minor to purchase. Nothing was mentioned regarding that he needs to be in membership until I went in the store. I want to make a complaint, It feels like my son was profiled due to his age. At 16years old as a teenager ,male , and with all that is happening in this world, he should not have to experience feeling the way he felt for just buying milk and helping his mother. He should had been told that in order to shop he must show proof that he is in the membership. I appreciate protecting the customer and to make sure that that is their credit card, but after all this incident my id was not even verified to make sure that is me on the card. As a loyal customer, mother, human... please retrain your whole staff on how to approach your regulations on a professional matter. Also I spoke with the location manager which she did not have anything to say but repeated that he was a minor to purchase milk. And I am sure this will not matter , but I will not be going to purchase anything in this location. I call your 800-774-2678 and filled a verbal complaint . read more

I love Costco, but this location can be quite a madhouse. Gas lines are crazy long. The parking lot is insane. The food court struggles to keep up with the demand of orders. I was a bit upset since I had over $200 of groceries that needed to be refrigerated. But you do get the great Costco prices. read more

Being the Costco enthusiast that I am, I always make it a point to visit a local store when in a new city! I always like to see the different products they offer in each market. This Costco is clean, well organized, and the staff are super friendly. Only issue I have with this store is the parking. It's an absolute NIGHTMARE. You'll seriously spend at least half an hour trying to find a spot. You know it's bad when the local police have to direct traffic in the parking lot and watch out for aggressive drivers, ha! Best idea is to park towards the back, and just walk in. This store is constantly busy (one of the busiest I've ever been to), so plan to spend some time shopping! read more

If my mother didn't add me to her membership I would NEVER get my own. This is my first experience and most likely only experience. 1. 84 highway is backed with traffic so it took me at least 20 minutes to get to the only costco in my area. 2. Parking is the worst I have ever seen, this will be at least another 20 minutes of the beginning of your shopping experience. You have to battle other cars for parking then walk a mile when you finally found a spot. 3. There aren't any signs except for "Dairy", "Bakery", and "Fresh Produce". It's like you've entered a maze trying to find what you need while getting real personal with other customers since it's SO overcrowded. 4. Self-checkout system is the dumbest. I get that they want to take preventative measures from theft but why do all of my 20 items need to be on the scale for me to keep moving onto the next item and if I skip one item by accident the staff comes over to count ALL of my items. This happen at least twice because I had so many things on the scale I kept forgetting to place another item on there and focused on organizing the cart. 5. After spending probably 2 - 3 hours overall during my costco experience, I tried paying and my card wouldn't go through. To which the staff tells me they didn't accept Mastercard. Of course on this day I didn't have any other method of payment and wasted my life at Costco. There should be signs. A sign saying "does not accept mastercard" and a sign telling you where things are. I was so frustrated and upset that I spoke to the manager and he was very nice and tried being helpful. However he suggested me leave and come back with another form of payment... which would've taken me at least another 1 hr+ with traffic on a Sunday. Forget about it. I'm most likely not coming back unless my mother insists we need something from Costco which isn't very likely. After my experience we're thinking of canceling membership. read more

It is extremely frustating to have to work so hard to try to get a business to stand up for their work. This location just won't stand up and take responsibility for their service work in the tire center. This is Brookfield, CT. The tire center is so busy that they cannot accomodate all the work that needs to be done as quickly as customers would like. And for that reason I am sure that service errors are made. It happened to me. The worst part of it is that the STORE MANAGEMENT (Brookfield CT location-a manager named Raheem) makes his decisions on whether or not they should honor their work not based on facts or customer satisfation or what is right or not right, but based upon how much their error may cost his bottom line. The bottom line $ is less than $150. Big mistake. I took my car in fine condition and left the location with a major system problem. Bottom line: Costco did not take responsibility for their error. read more

I went specifically to the alcohol storefront only. This store is located directly beside the Cosco foods store. The store is small but they have all the basics of wine, beer and liquor. Most are the Kirkland brand but they do have a few items (especially with the wines) that are not their brand. The prices are great! I highly recommend if you are in the area. One item we were wanting was the spices rum, unfortunately although they do stock it it was not available for purchase the day we were at the store because of a recall but would probably be back next month. The clerk was very helpful and patient. They so not accept American Express or MasterCard for a credit card- it must be a visa. Thankfully my husband was their with his card. Are you kidding? .They set the standard for All big box stores. The way they treat a customer and the help. All top Notch. Only problem I have with Costco is that if you go from lemons, For example, they might not have them.If you see something you like buy it it might not be caring it next week. This review is for the Danbury store only, and the organization as a whole. You are on your own as far as pricing and bargains go.Have to do your homework. Their meat is excellent, no they may not compete on a day-to-day sales in supermarkets but you can bet it is the finest except for maybe specialty butcher. Avocados are second to none, but they may not be very ripe, so schedule your purchase around your party. Great prices on nuts, most snacks, organic eggs, half-and-half, and butter if you can handle 4 pounds. You can usually trust Costco to make sure that the companies they deal with are probably representing their product on the label. I'll be in coffee is also on the whole a great deal. Their own organic olive oil is also good. I guess you get the picture, I am a sucker for that store. read more
