Living in Manhattan for a long time, Costco was never an option because if I bought more than one tube of toothpaste, I wouldn't have anywhere to store the extra ones due to having a tiny apartment. However, now that we spend some time in Connecticut, we have more room, which means we had to join Costco to buy large volumes of stuff. This is a Costco, so you know you'll get some insane deals. Five tubes of toothpaste for what you'd pay for two in the city. I like getting good deals on staples and this fits the bill. This store is pretty nice although it's a little overwhelming for me and it's sometimes hard to find things. I would definitely say things are located in semi-organized ways but sometimes you find the best deals in random places so you really have to wander around the entire store to make sure you're getting a deal. Checkouts are always busy but they've always been run efficiently when I have been there. There's so much stuff here, that I'll admit sometimes I feel anxious when I'm in this store, even though the aisles are wide and the ceilings are high. There's just really a lot of things stacked to the ceilings. Overall, when I need stuff from here, I enjoy the great deals. The parking lot is a bit of a bleep-show because nobody puts their carts back.

This is a great Costco. It's really big and there's lots of parking. It feels wide spread out. They have a lot more products stocked than some of the other branches. The customer service was really really great here. A really nice lady helped me find something I was looking for. She took her time and really looked and found it. The woman at the self checkout was really nice too. The manager was greeting customers. It was a great experience shopping here. It wasn't as crowded as some of the other locations. They have the gas stations there too and prices were good.

Feels like we won the lottery! (Costco 9am, although they say 10am) ;) - (4/10/2020)

Brookfield CT Costco is our favorite Costco after Port Chester. The staff here are friendly, very well organized, lines move swiftly, and they get you checked out in a matter of seconds! As with shopping at all Costco stores: Do make a list before you go, or you can end up with a tremendous amount of inventory and pray you have enough space at home to store your bounty, although that's what many are doing with Bathroom Tissue lately! We have found the necessary COVID19 products here, TP, PT, Lysol, isopropyl alcohol, Latex gloves and yes, bathroom tissue! But you have to go at the crack of dawn. So, listen to that rooster calling you! :) **Wear masks** keep proper distance ** ** Gas/Petrol Station at this location. No cash Only Visa card ** *** Costco Membership Required *** ** Go early to beat the crowds. ** Good morning! and you're welcome!

My husband and I love to shop in Costco because of reasonable price and great quality especially for their fruit, dairy products and prepared food. During COVID-19, we didn't visit Costco for 3 months and we miss it so much. When we saw the lines outside the entrance, we would give up everytime we tried to go. We were so excited to see there weren't too many people on a weekend afternoon at their Brookfield location. Most of the shelves were well-maintained and organized. The product lineup is really different from other locations we visited in NYC. We love their plant section so much and brought a new pot home. All the staff wore masks and gloves. One of the best things that made us feel comfortable to shop there was the cashier counter set up.

The food counter at this Costco needs to be closed for poor customer service. The pizzas are a bargain, but the staff is disorganized. On a recent Sunday we placed an order for a pizza, and our order was passed over several times for nearly 30 minutes. Other customers who ordered after us received their pizzas before us. The irony is the staff asked us what we're waiting for after just a few minutes, and we explained we ordered a pizza to go. They said - no problem. Then we waited 20 more minutes, and they asked - what are you waiting for? Our pizza! So disorganized!

    Ask the Community - Costco

Do they provide motorized wheelchairs for customers?

I've always found stores to have battery operated scooters. Big basket in front. Not quite a wheelchair, but more than adequate for most people. Call ahead and ask if you're not sure.

When we arrived for our appointment, Lisa helped narrow our focus when choosing our bathroom fixtures. This was a critical step when navigating the vast selection offered in the showroom. Once she had a good idea of our aesthetic, we were whisked from one end of the store to another to winnow down additional choices. Without this guidance from Lisa, we would have been quite overwhelmed. Plus, we would have wasted LOTS of time. Within 45 minutes, we had chosen our fixtures, picked out a sink and found a perfect replacement for our kitchen faucet. The final item hadn't even been part of our initial objective, but the shopping experience was so well guided that it seemed like the perfect time to check that long ignored task off. Ours was a relatively small order but Lisa treated it as though it was the most important part of her day. She followed up with email links to the products we had ordered and escorted us next door to find a countertop. During that process, Lisa worked seamlessly with the stone fabricator by supplying dimensions and other pertinent specifications. Highly recommended.

He knows everything there is to know about the products Wild Birds Unlimited (WBU) sells. What you need to know is that Wild Birds Unlimited sells bird feeders and lots of other assorted related items. As Philip eloquently stated, he is selling "non-essential" items. Well, I will tell you who thinks these things are essential, the birds in my backyard. I have been feeding my backyard birds for years using two wonderful bird feeders called the Eliminator. The Eliminator is specially designed to prevent squirrels from eating the bird seed. Let me tell you, the squirrels in my back yard have complained very loudly about this. When birds sit on a ring surrounding the bottom of the Eliminator, the weight of the birds opens small doors at the base of the feeder just large enough to allow the birds to feed. But, if a squirrel climbs on the ring, the weight of the squirrel activates springs causing the doors to shut. This bird feeder is an outstanding example of sophisticated engineering. Bird watching is a fascinating thing. I watched the birds who were watching the squirrels trying to eat their birdseed. I swear I saw the birds laughing at the squirrels who were too stupid to figure out how to open the doors and eat their birdseed. Anyway, one of my bird feeders broke which is almost impossible because the Eliminator is extremely well constructed with space age plastic. Most birds will go extinct before this bird feeder will wear out! The Eliminator comes with a guarantee. If it breaks, Wild Birds Unlimited will fix it. A year or so ago, a bolt of lightning hit a huge tree limb hanging over my bird feeders. A two ton limb fell, striking one of my bird feeders causing the plastic bird seed container tube to break and separate from the base of the bird feeder. I immediately rushed to my nearest Wild Birds Unlimited to find out how to fix this problem. WBU instantly honored the guarantee. They replaced my broken tube with a brand new tube and I was back in business in no time. Let me tell you, my backyard birds were thrilled about the great service provided by WiBU. They "cheep" about it all the time. If you want to get into backyard bird watching, I highly recommend Wild Birds Unlimited in Brookfield. Tell them Henry sent you. It will not get you a discount or anything else for that matter except to know that I will think it is funny that you mentioned my name. Seriously, if you shop here for your bird watching needs, please ask for Philip. He will provide all the hardware and all the advice that you may need for successful bird watching. Best wishes to all of you. Henry Pearlman Hpearl5@aol.com
