BOYCOTT ALL CVS & CARMARK PHARMACIES!!!!! CVS has crossed the line by creating ridiculous policies regarding some cancer drugs and pain medication. CVS's new policy will only dispense 7 (seven) pain pills at a time. Therefore, it will make it much more taxing on doctors to write a prescription on a weekly basis (not to mention taking time from treating patients who need care), but this policy puts patients suffering with pain in a serious conundrum. CVS is expecting people with pain to personally travel to their doctor's office pick-up a paper percription, then personally deliver the paper prescription to the pharmacy, then personally appear with their ID to pick-up the perception! This is ludicrous!!! the population that need these medications are mainly populations that have difficulty traveling due to pain and/or illness (broken hips or other bones or fractures from falling or osteoporosis, etc.; internal pain such as RA, back degeneration, and other painful diseases too numerous to list. Moreover, if a patient needs a prescription for pain twice s day, that will mean traveling to the doctor's office then to the pharmacy every three days. Again, the population that has greatest need to just take the edge off of pain so they can attempt to walk after breaking bones or to just be able to move a bit to get out of bed before their muscles atrophy and more health issues arise, instead CVS WANTS TO CONDEMN PATIENTS TO EXCRUCIATING PAIN AND EVENTUALLY DEATH!!!! WAKE UP CVS!!! Prohibition didn't work (now alcohol is legal and more lethal to society), Marijuana is now legal (certainly that and alcohol are more adicting), Gun control doesn't work , so WAKE-UP!!!! I am a nurse working at a family medical center, where I frequently communicate with pharmacists regarding patients' prescriptions. On multiple occasions, when I have spoken with pharmacist Ann Marie, her behavior has been consistently unprofessional and discourteous. On the most recent occasion, I contacted the pharmacy to verify whether certain prescriptions were ready for a patient, as the patient had informed me that some prescriptions were on hold. Ann Marie initially responded, "If the script was sent, we received it." I then reiterated that the patient stated a prescription was on hold. Upon checking, she confirmed that a prescription was indeed on hold. I explained that my purpose in calling was not "for the fun of it," but rather to assist my patients. Ann Marie responded with, "Congratulations." This comment was inappropriate, dismissive, and unprofessional. Such conduct is not acceptable within the healthcare community. It creates unnecessary tension, hinders collaborative patient care, and undermines the professionalism expected in our field. read more

This CVS made a serious dispensing error, shorting my prescription by 10 pills, which caused me to run out 5 days early. Instead of investigating, the pharmacist Moe was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, blaming me rather than taking responsibility. Their refusal to address a clear discrepancy with a controlled medication is unacceptable. I've filed a corporate complaint and strongly urge others to avoid this location or meticulously verify every prescription before leaving. read more
