Store: 02531, Mohegan Lake, NY. Phone 914-526-1100. Walmart horror! Thank you Carmen, Store manager for lying and saying you will come to talk too me. Raquette, Liar and ladies who got mad and kick me because I got her name for a complaint. And somehow I was harassing her, which by the way. She Came up too me first. With a store policy. Muba, the security guard or manager who told me to "get the fuck out of my store". Because I took pictures of him. By the way, he removed his name tagged and lied to my wife. On video everything was O.K. Matt, who tried to make me sign a form saying I was trespass. And the trooper, who while respectful. We're not there to help because Walmart called them. So Walmart employees basically lied to me. Changed policy on me, lied to my wife. And basically told me that I bring 13 kids to buy "Needuh". By the way, I only have 4 kids. And one of them is fully grown. A 17 year old with autism, that like the squishy toy. buys them with his own money, and funny enough, has already broken them. Two twins, where one was scared trying to tell the officer while we were kick out that, the man said we can stay. As I sadly told my son, the trooper are not here to help us. So lets give it up to Walmart, changes there policies. Not wanting kids to buy things at there store. And think they understand kids with autism because they have a niece or nephew like that. Yet are not the parent of a child like that most of the time. Let thank them for lying to use. And get mad because I told them I was going to make a corporate compliant. I had already went to customer service and made them aware I wanted to speak to the manager. And somehow there was no manager to talk to ever. Funny part, while talking to Walmart Corporate line. The said there wasn't a policy like that. So someone is lying but who. Thats know a one per family policy. That's fine, not mad at the rules if it was one per family. I put the other butter back. Angry that you included my kids, came up to me instead first. Items, that people bought a few already, are just one per family. Because you basically termed them as Pokémon scalpers. Something I don't buy there at all. I'm angry that you Lie, change polices, just because I asked a questions. They didn't like my kids I guess. And get mad because I complaint about them. And there manager, Carmen. Which I was told before hand she would not help me. Buy the staff, then Hide. After I was kick out, my wife literally spoke to Muba again, while I was on the phone with Walmart Ethic, who I know will never help. and he said he didn't know what was going on, and we were ok. So after I spoke to Walmarts Customer service line. Since they said we were ok, I ask again to speak with carmen for clarity. She came to me and said give me a minute. To wait here. Only to stall for the cops to come. Btw, like I said, thank for making my son freak out. And Matt, who wanted me to sign a form saying I was trespassing. I believe now, that all in my heart. Walmart is not a friendly company! Never has been. But, I don't think they're autistic friendly. But, it's ok! You can keep your needuhs, and your beyblades. You don't need there money, or people like us. Since you want to say, I bring 13 kids to the Walmart, just to buyout all your needuhs. I will post more. I have nothing to lose. But you included my kids. So I don't care. read more

Walmart - Raquette! Ladies who didn't want me to buy products. And once she realized I was making a complaint. Throw me out of the store. - Department Stores Near Me - Mohegan Lake, New York

I went in to buy a scale. I asked one employee where to look because it was not in housewares. She just pointed and walked away (no idea where she was pointing). I googled where it would be myself and it said pharmacy section. Asked 2 employees where it would be... neither of them spoke any English!!!!! I had to type scale into their phones. Do better Walmart!!! Employees who do not know where products are or don't even speak the language is not acceptable!!!! AND by the way you were all out of scales... stocking products should be a priority. read more

I visit Walmart several times a week with positive results reasonable prices and customer service is good. HOWEVER, It's disgusting that they are letting dogs inside and see them in the carts ! Clearly they not service dogs! If you can post someone at check out then you should post someone at the entrance! The health department need to enforce laws read more

Hey, this is John. I'm trying to control myself because I'm so angry. We tried to order a heating pad, and a set of sheets from this store in Mohegan Lake. Then our credit card Would not go through. This was an error. I called and waited online forever after finally getting through the robots they actually had the nerve to tell me that I have to connect our savings account to their corporation in order to order anything. I immediately said that's a crazy policy. I'm not ordering anything from you again I will never do that. You have no right to have access to my bank account. You know the usual logical saying answer to such a stupid, Corporate response. Another question I had was why do you still have our credit card on file when we never gave you permission to have that They don't know. What do they know? Serves us right for ordering from this wretched store. They treat their workers horribly no health insurance all part-time I could go on and on, but you can look it up for yourself. We're waiting to contact our bank because both of us might have heart attacks about being so angry that any corporation would ask for direct access to our personal banking account. Every corporation knows everything about you is got nothing to do with national security as we keep telling you. They figure we're a little bit older, maybe we're nuts. Maybe we have dementia maybe they can clean out our bank account and nothing will happen to them. There will be no consequences. Yeah, we're not very happy with this and you should be either. I know it sounds almost incredible. The story but trust me it happened. Then strangely, we got half of our delivery ! We've got to call the bank, but we have to calm down because we get so angry at the stupid society. read more

You desperately need to improve the staffing of the customer service/returns desk. The wait is atrocious, always, even early on a weekday morning. I am not returning to this store, fed up with waiting 20 minutes to return a single item while the other employee spends 20 minutes plastic wrapping an item instead of waiting on customers. DO BETTER! read more

10 out of 15 self checkouts don't work!!! Charged me with no receipt!!! Spent 15 minutes with manager trying to straighten out the mess, wound up checking out everything in my cart again. This Walmart is a disaster. read more

Decent enough Walmart. I've been to Walmarts in multiple states (unsure if I should even admit that sad fact) and while there's some decent ones out there, most of them are usually putrid. If you've been to one Walmart, you've basically been to them all as far as prices and stock, with some small differences. The shelves were decently maintained and they had what I needed, so I can't complain. The same issues that most other locations have are evident here - from bad, unfriendly employees to long lines and limited cashiers. Another aspect of Walmarts in general are the customers and usual characters this brand tends to attract and it was no different when I was there. Despite how you might feel about the brand, the customers, the employees, the mismanagement these stores tend to have, there is no complaining about the prices and at times convenience. Considering other locations, this one is good in comparison. This is currently the only Walmart in Westchester county (upper Westchester at that, close to the Rockland border), so it does have that distinction. There are other Walmarts if you drive farther, over a bridge, or into Connecticut or Northern Jersey - but trust me when I say, that compared to some of those other locations, this is much better. Located in the busy Cortlandt Town Center, while there is plenty of parking, the lot can be madness at times - especially the spots closer to the front. A lot of terrible drivers were in this lot at the time I was there, so use caution and have patience. Overall, a decent Walmart and certainly better than some of its sister stores in a drivable distance. Yes, it's a Walmart and all the same issues these chains tend to have, but still decent and one I'd return to if needed. Bring your patience and lowered expectations with you and you'll be fine. read more

This store has the worst customer service. Curbside pickup, they don't care how long you are waiting. After 39 minutes of waiting they expect you to go in to get your order. When at a register they look miserable and expect you to do all the work. They would rather you use self checkout!!! read more

I was entering this store this morning about 6:05AM. I see Myra, who is some type of manager, although I can't figure out why. She was pushing an overfilled shopping cart towards the customer service desk where there were other carts that were filled. As I'm walking in the door, a shopping cart goes flying in front of me and she was walking towards self checkout. Problem is that she looked directly at me while I was walking towards the door! She pushed the cart anyway! She should not be working with the public! She is such a jerk and she's lucky I wasn't hit by the overfilled cart! read more

Do you love the dirtiest floors you've ever seen and main aisles completely blocked no matter what time or day you go? What about having all the face creams and cosmetics locked up behind glass AND no one to come unlock them for you? Do you love it when there's only ONE cashier and the self checkout is ALWAYS bottle necked? Then man, oh man! This Walmart has all of that! Staff are....fine, but the vibes are atrocious. Will literally drive an hour out of the way to go to any other store rather than this Walmart and I've lived here my whole life. read more

They have some good fishing equipment and lures with some juicy European nightcrawlers

I guess 4 stars are generous, but I can never say I haven't ever found what I was I intending to buy at Walmart. The store is brightly lit, isles well marked with, currently, social distancing markers patterned among the isles. Certain items aren't abundant( cleaning products / paper goods), but you CAN find an equivalent substitute. The cashiers should pay more attention to what's occurring in front of them. She piled all my items on the top of the bagging carousel only to have items fall on her side clueless to this occurring. Had I not noticed, I would have paid/not received my items. Parking lot is becoming a medical waste land(gloves/masks) noting broken liquor bottles with glass shatters randomly around. Unsure if this is Walmart's responsibility. Unsure the length of time coming back read more

Not bad if you are in a pinch for something absolutely necessary (and pretty cheap I must add) - otherwise do see if you can avoid this place as much as possible because the quality of customer led me to believe I had warped into a gang banger project - it's far more interesting checking out the strange characters wandering the aisles than the goods on the shelves! read more

Walmart Lake Mohegan has the Worst. Customer. Service. EVER. Ordered an air fryer online on Friday, November 18 to pick up at Walmart Lake Mohegan on Saturday, November 19 between 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Received an email early this morning that my item "will be ready for pick-up" and to arrive at Walmart Lake Mohegan between two and three o'clock in the afternoon. Endured 2.5 hours of traffic and was then told by John Paul in the "Pick Up" area upon arrival at two o'clock in the afternoon that not only was the item not ready, but also to, "Come back in two hours." HUH? Returned an hour later, after 3:00 pm, and while waiting, received this email: "Sorry, your item isn't available. Your order has been canceled." This is absolutely outrageous. I asked to speak with a manager and was informed "Pat" in the "Pick Up" area was gone for the day. John Paul went to find a manager, and returned with "Curt," who wore a shiny yellow label under his name that read, "Coach." Curt was extremely rude, raised his voice, and snuffed, "There's nothing I could do!" before walking away. Curt could coach employees on how NOT to interact with customers based on his unprofessional behavior. I was stunned. Shame on Walmart Lake Mohegan. Stay far away. read more

Only two days before Christmas and this place is so understaffed it's crazy. very long checkout lined while registers go unmanned. I had to walk around literally the entire store to find what seemed like the only employee who was available to ask a question. To get a shopping cart I had to walk to the back of the parking lot because none of them were being returned to the store. Meanwhile this company made $166 BILLION in gross profit this year. And you can bet that these individuals holding the ship afloat are overworked and are paid wages that barely keep the light on. This, in a nutshell is what is wrong with this entire country. Pathetic read more

Dirty dirty dirty. Very unorganized. You can 100% tell Walmart doesn't not care about customer service and satisfaction and they definitely don't care about their employees just by walking around this poorly lit under-managed establishment. The whole organization should be ASHAMED of this store. It's an example of what a business should not look like. Take the extra 30 minutes and go to a different Walmart. Better yet, target is in mount kisco. read more

Walmart has a terrible policy for picking up 3.00 Body Sprays. I understand they need to be locked up because people steal.... But WHY can NO one ever find the one person with the key? Why must we wait a ridiculous amount of time each time? read more

Went to this Walmart with my 6 year old nephew to purchase fluorescent lights on 7/31/24. After getting the lights and walking back I was stopped by security asked if I needed help. This confused me because my nephew was just looking at life vest, which as a 6'4" man I could easily reach. I immediately knew that this security was following me and watching me in the store because after I told him no he proceeded to say on his Walkie "safety safety". As a black man and as a professional this is disgusting that Walmart is following people based on appearance. Horrendous experience especially in this walmart that is highly unorganized. I feel truly disrespected. Will not be shopping at Walmart again. read more

I recently discovered this Walmart & it feels like a watered down version of Walmart. I guess maybe because it isn't listed as a "Supercenter"? I was able to find a few things & didn't spend a load of money so it served it's purpose.... read more

I just increasingly dislike shopping here. From the filth that is the parking lot, to the shopping carts with janky wheels, to the prices (seem higher), to the sections of stores that look like they were ravished in prep for a natural disaster, it's just unpleasant. Walmart sold me two pools and charged my credit card on 4/23/20. Once the item arrived and was awaiting pickup notification, the items got "lost". I'm sure the items, being popular and not easy to find, were siphoned off by someone who wanted them. A customer service rep. provided a trailer number of their supposed location and sent us on a wild goose chase to the Mohegan Lake store, only to be told there are no trailers there. I was told to call and speak to another manager the next day. A waste of time- 3 weeks for shipping, a trip to the store during Covid, several long phone calls that required a whole lot of patience and mystery remains. So either someone walked off with the product or the freight company is thumbs down. I am not a Walmart shopper and I broke my code this once and it was a reminder of why they are so terrible. read more

Real improvement is possible. Visited early this Saturday morning...making a trip to among my least favorite retail stores. Pleasantly surprised. Aisles re-arranged and perhaps widened slightly. Stock cleaned up and orderly. And no stock-outs. Check out now includes self-checkout for speed. Well done. Kudos overall achieving at least average or better for Wal-Mart. **** based on improvement. Maybe the older Store Manager was finally fired and someone who understands how to run a store was installed. Anyway, I am pleasantly surprised. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Everytime I'm here it's like no one wants to work. It's like you're bothering them. Also they say they close at 11pm however I went there to pick up medicine for my baby as he was running a fever. I got there at 10:50pm. A Hispanic man at the door said I couldn't enter because the boss said it's closed. If you are going to close at 10:50pm, that is the time that should be listed on the door and website. I would say this place was kinda dirty. Staff was okay, but the quality of items was mediocre. I don't know I just wasn't impressed.

Ok, so last week I went back to this shit show and as I walked in I heard the security guard that stands by the entrance ask Kurt if a man not wearing a face mask can enter the store. Kurts response was no, if he does we have to call the police." That's fine, but they need to start "policing" their own damn employees that walk around with the mask just covering the mouth and not the nose. read more

Walmart - Take a good look at the top of the box - Department Stores Near Me - Mohegan Lake, New York

Don't worry the price tags on the shelf MEAN NOTHING. Was in there today and bought a 10 1/4" cast iron pan. It was priced as 21.?? In the sporting goods area and priced at 17.92 in housewares. Sine they did NOT have enough cashiers (3 or 4) open I went to self service. I ring the pan up and it comes up as 19.90. WHAT. I CALL over the monitor and was informed that the price tags above or below the items do not mean anything it's only what the computer says, I informed her I had a picture of the item with price ,showed her the price, she said SO WHAT ITS THE COMPUTER PRICE THAT COUNTS. I said that's not right let me talk to a manager, and she said that won't help, I told her let's try because it's not right and this will CERTAINLY hold up the line.. she said if I Have too I'll mark it down. WELL yes you DO have to sell it @ price listed on item. AND you need to give better CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Went to do an even exchange for an item that was stolen out of my paid for box. The cashier told me to goto the empty service desk. I asked for a manager. She said they couldn't help me. I told her that it was an even exchange so she finally decided to let me have the sealed box only after saying very nasty things I couldn't believe I was being told. I wouldn't recommend going to Walmart of Mohegan lake unless you want to receive very rude and racist remarks. Stay away. Scum of the earth read more

I know it's a Walmart, and you should expect a world of shit, but the trashiness of this location is legendary. I don't think I've ever had a cashier not say a single word to me during an entire transaction - not to say hello, not to tell me how much my items cost, not to say have a nice day - but today, that came true. Those pre-Halloween cat ears aren't cute, either, lady. Maybe if you didn't have the personality of a leaking wart. Maybe you can at least tell me my total. It's packing tape and some cans of tuna. Shouldn't be too hard. The number that looks like a sideways butt is an '8'. Seriously, Walmart of Mohegan, get it together. Maybe medicate your asshole employees or something so they don't spread their horrible days to the surrounding towns. read more

There is really not a whole lot you can say about a local Walmart that unfortunately is not a super center. Say what you will about Walmart being an evil corporation, but one day, when I can afford to not rely on them to fend off the poorhouse for basic home necessities, I will move in to one of those fancy, ethically business sound places that help everyone involved. Until then, my need for mop heads, laundry detergent, and all things camo can only be satiated by the local Walmart. So what if you usually can't find an employee to help, the most obnoxious people in the area frequent the store to make your shopping experience that much more memorable. And who doesn't mind waiting in line to pay for three items at one of the 3 open registers when it seems like the store has 16 of them. Walmart continues to be the place where $2.97 goes a long way. read more
