Super Disrespectful and has encouraged her even younger staff to take a "employee vrs customers" stance especially Kevin. Unfortunately, this pharmacy is staffed with rude and incompetent people. They have straight up lost a controlled substance scrip I dropped off there and that caused me to take another trip to the doctors office for a new one, as you cannot simply call these in any longer. They must be a physical paper copy that you drop off in person. Not only do they have zero customer service skills or empathy, they offer no apologies when they make critical errors. They have often made me wait in excess of three hours for prescriptions without any apparent backlog or line of people waiting. They are beyond judgmental and will make you wait an extremely long time for your medicine. This is very frustrating to say the least. They treat people with chronic pain like trash or junkies without any repercussions. When asked what was taking so long (3+ hours) to fill the scrip, I was asked "why? Are you in a hurry for it?" And hung up on! Sadly, I am forced to use them due to my insurance being Caremark which is owned by CVS. If I had any other options, believe me, I would go elsewhere. I wish they would do a complete overhaul of the pharmacy staff and some sensitivity training at a minimum. read more

I know it's a pharmacy and stuff but I come here for the chocolate. It's ALWAYS on sale and I used my club card for bonus points. Their photo dept is pretty awesome. I think, I counted 6 individual, digital photo stations where you can insert your memory card and print your own photos. There's even a built-in graphics suite where you can add cool graphics and frames to your pix. Print as man or as little as you want. Cruise in at night and hang out with the employees. It's like an episode of Clerks, the movie. read more

I've had mixed experiences with CVS. On this occasion, I only visited the pharmacy for the first time at this location. I was pleasantly surprised when I went on a late Sunday afternoon to get my prescription filled. There was no wait to drop it off and get registered, and only a short wait once it was filled. I was expecting a 15-20 minute wait for my two scripts but had less than 10 :-) This was impressive, considering that I learned that this location is where everyone goes immediately after visiting the Carlsbad Urgent Care, just further west off Carlsbad Village Dr., on weekends. The entire staff was very professional, responsive, and answered my questions quickly. As far as the actual store goes, it's pretty average- a mass market drug store. If I need a prescription on a weekend, this is a good option. read more

The people at the pharmacy are so RUDE. I am filing a complaint with headquarters of CVS. I just found out I have breast cancer and I went to get a prescription for anxiety, I was asking a question of the girl ringing me up. She said she couldn't answer so I would have to stand in another line. I went to that line and that girl was as rude as the last girl. I told her that both of them were rude and they yelled back at me that I am rude!!! It was just so ridiculous!!!!!!! They had no idea I had just found out about my breast cancer but I need positive vibes and a place I feel comfortable going to pick up prescriptions considering there is going to be a lot of them. I have been a customer at this CVS for 5 years and I will never go back there again. I am having all of my prescriptions sent to a new pharmacy where people treat each other with dignity. read more

This is a horrible store. I had to wait in a long line of about 12 people yesterday at 1 o'clock in the afternoon while I was running a fever and sick . When I finally got to the counter the pharmacist wouldn't make any special effort to try and get my insurance coverage for my prescription. She made me call my insurance company and I got disconnected by them . I had to leave and contact my insurance company for information and come back . I will never go there again . read more

This is my neighborhood CVS. It's nice that it is open 24 hours. Sometimes I am too lazy to get up and get my RX so it was great to find a store that is open when I'm ready. Store use to be very dated but it looks like they are doing interior renovations. The staff isn't always dressed very professional. Almost as if there is no pride in themselves while having a job. I don't care if you work for CVS or you work in an office, there is such thing as looking the part. That would be my only observant opportunity this time. read more

Literally the worst pharmacy on the planet! I've given this place several chances and tonight is the last straw. My child's Pediatrician called in a very important medication to CVS. I went in tonight to pick it up and was told that it wasn't filled because it was an over-the-counter medication. I scratched my head in disbelief and pleaded, no, I don't believe so. But, they were adamant, NOPE, it's an over-the-counter medication and sent me down the aisle to find it. When I didn't find it, I went back up to the pharmacy and was told I was out of luck, try somewhere else. I went to Walmart and Albertson's and neither of them had it. So, I went home and looked it up on the Internet. NOPE, it's definitely a prescription medication. So my wife called CVS to address the issue with them. She literally waited on hold a combined 60 minutes waiting to speak to the Pharmacist, while intermittently being hung up on (she kept calling back) and lied to by the store manager that the Pharmacist was going to pick up the phone. Finally I called again and spoke to another store manager who he told me that they were aware of their error and that he would have the Pharmacist call me back within 30 minutes. 4 hours later, after not being called, I called back and shockingly the Pharmacist picked up. Funny enough, she knew it was me calling (caller ID) and essentially admitted that they saw our number calling earlier and just ignored it because they were busy. That might be acceptable had they not told me the medication was an over-the-counter med, sent me searching at other stores, made my wife wait on hold for an hour and lied to us several times. Suffice it to say, this was indeed the last straw. F this place and its low budget bootleg staff. Trash. read more

Really rude pharmacist. Doctor called in my prescription and pharmacy claims they didn't receive it electronically. I have repeated this process for a week and same result. Now I am leaving out of town and the rude pharmacist told me to go to urgent care to get my med's. I told her that was frickin ridiculous and she hung up on me. She told me they only have 2 workers today.. SO.....hire some staff and while you are at it...give them all some customer service skills training. read more

Cvs is nice in that their store seems more organized and more like the Target of stores in this category (I.e. Rite Aid is Walmart). They have what I'm assuming is everything under the sun. I don't think I've ever left there without what I was looking for- ok one time- no banner paper or white sharpies. Had to hit up Michael's for that! Anyways, you can save money for sure with the CVS coupons and I have always had a good experience with the employees here. No complaints. read more

The worst Pharmacy I have ever been to. I'm always waiting at least 45mins going back and forth to all the windows. My newborn is on reflux medicine and this is the second time I'm covered on my insurance that I had to pay for the prescription. Him being brand new I am waiting for his card to come in the mail and he is covered using my card. Well the rude lady that was working said she would not call for me when I was told by my insurance to have them call. She said no I won't call I said you won't and she said no especially it being after hours. Listen stupid they have a 24hr service to check eligibility. Duh. I would of called but my phone was dead. Not helpful at all and very rude. Changing pharmacies...don't use this one if you don't want a headache every time. read more

CVS has always been my most favorite and convenient pharmacy/store because it's located like...everywhere. More recently however, I've been using this specific CVS for it's MinuteClinic and Karen (whose the doctor many might often see) is quite amazing! She's very quick with her work, cheerful, personable and quite hilarious!! I've seen her twice now, about a year in between or so, and she's always so nice!! Though wait times for the MinuteClinic can get hectic, I suggest going early (like right when they open if you can). If you want to make an appointment, download the CVS app and save yourself the trouble of going online (you can only view wait times there) or calling them in store (they have a voice call option for their hotline that in my opinion, just sucks). Downloading the app and making an appointment on their is WAY easier. read more

It never fails that you will have to wait for your prescription. No matter if your doctor calls something in ahead of time, you have a refill, or you get a phone call from the pharmacy themselves about the Rx being ready for pickup, you will get the same "it'll be 15 minutes." Annoyed, to say the least, and terribly inefficient. I had a problem with refilling a Rx and instead of the pharmacy dealing with it proactively, I had to show up and inquire before they did anything about it. I've never had a so many problems with any pharmacy in my life. Definitely would recommend driving a little further and get better service if you're looking to fill a prescription. read more

The absolute worst pharmacy ever!.. On one occasion they made me wait because the medicine wasn't ready.. I came back and it still wasn't ready, when it was, I realized it was an OTC off the shelf product that I could've picked it up off the shelf and paid for it myself. On another instance they called me to notify me that my prescriptions were ready, but when I came in they said they had no prescription ready for me or even my name on file they had to call my doctor and refill a prescription which took about 45 minutes then when they finally refilled it it was the wrong prescription Why does it take so long to put him pills from one bottle into another? Unfortunately, this is still a 1-star review. Still can't do zero. Again, it's the pharmacy. This time it was for pain pills for my mother's fractured pelvis. The hospital called in the prescription as we left. When I drove to CVS they couldn't find it. The hospital called it in again. I drove to CVS again - they still couldn't find it. Finally the LVN at the hospital called CVS again, verified what was being done and why the prescription was necessary, got concurrence from CVS, and re-faxed the prescription. Two days later (third trip to CVS) they still couldn't find it. I finally went into escalation mode, and the lady at the counter called the pharmacist. After looking at his computer, he searched around in a box under the counter and came up with a fax. He then gave some lame excuse as to why it wasn't ready to go after sitting around for two days. Nothing about why I wasn't notified. A customer-centered company might have thought that maybe they could call their customer (the reason for their existence) and let them know about potential issues. A customer-centered company might have wanted to follow up on the first two failures so they wouldn't happen again. But not CVS. It seems clear that they DO NOT CARE about their customer base. Best of luck to those of you who are forced to use their pharmacy services. I think you'll need it, if only to let the frustration make you somehow stronger. If there was ANY other pharmacy my mother could use, I'd be there in a heartbeat. FWIW, I'm forwarding this to CVS corporate. It may give them something to laugh about during staff meeting. Immediately changing my Pharmacy so I don't have to set foot in this store again. The pharmacy was fine, but the photo center was horrific. We waited a very long time for a passport photo. The employee who was stocking shelves instead of helping the long line of people was just plain rude. First, he was bent out of shape because my kid's shoes were off.... They have one of the foot insole machines that he just tried out. Don't have a machine that requires shows off if you want shoes on the whole time in the store. After we waited for a ridiculously long time while they helped other customers, we finally were helped. The picture doesn't look great. Hope it's acceptable. The same rude employee asked if my two year old was ok because he cried a lot. Maybe he didn't enjoy the long wait. I don't appreciate snarky comments. Obviously he is fine, just tired. Please don't imply my kid is a brat. Every time we go to this cvs it's a long line. It just doesn't seem well-managed. It's a busy store. It should be well- stocked with employees. Maybe even nice employees. It's the closest pharmacy to me, but we will never go there again. read more

What can I say? The night time workers are a little, eh, how can I put this, OUT THERE. I sometimes stop here on my way home from work, and the over night crew is odd. I usually only go here to pick up female products and random odd and ends. Be forewarned, you might get caught in some awkward conversations late at night involving cat, fans, and an iron. read more

This is a store you run in and run out. You don't hang around and browse. I once was looking at shampoos and had a transient come over and try to invite me to his beach bonfire that night..... Yeah right. More recently, I had to pick up a prescription and the lady did not blink for the entire 5 minutes I was paying for it and only referred to me in 3rd person. I think she was on something... I haven't had a problem with the pharmacy other than that though.. they are prompt on prescriptions whenever I've needed them. read more

My favorite CVS by far!!!!!!! I drive pass 3 just to get here. The store is huge and the staff are amazing. I have an extracare card so I feel I am well on my way to becoming an extreme couponer!! LOL If you use the card properly, you will definitely see great rewards. The manager always greets and the cashiers are friendly and always helpful. Also, this store is so clean! Like really crazy clean! I LOVE THAT!!!!! Also, Christmas is in the air!!! There is an almost festive and jolly vibe in the air and if you see the Christmas decorations, you'll go crazy. Ok ok, I'LL go crazy. And I DID!!!! You never have to wait long and there is always ample parking. While some of their items are pricey, if you use your printed coupons in conjunction with the store card, you'll leave smiling!!!! read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The clerk at the front was rude, and seemed completely irritated. My prescription was $328 and when I told her I had insurance, because she failed to ask, she got extremely irritated and sent me to a different counter. The lady doing the insurance didn't know how to put my insurance card in and didn't even say hello. My label on my rx was incorrect, so it had to be redone. Find a different cvs or go to target across the street. read more

Went in to grab a few things and play my lottery #s. Put my $$ in and the machine wasn't working, had to purchase something I didn't want! none the less I went up to the checkout and told the young woman the lottery machine was broken, in a loud "Rude" tone proceeded to tell me how they only come in every other week to fix it. Ok you obviously new it was broken, how about a note on it saying so. Or a professional response would have been " Sorry about that I'll put something up so people will know. Not her!! And the kicker is, she's the store Manager...lol. Good luck there, won't see me again. read more

This is where Yelp needs to offer a negative stars. This pharmacy is horrible. I've had many bad experiences but due to location and convenience gave them another chance. The techs completely can't read correctly and don't know what there doing. The pharmacist, working on 10/8/21 around 6 pm not sure of her name had the audacity to yell at my provider for her own mistake. A refill that I have continuously gotten for months, that's important to me turned into a back and fourth ordeal that made absolutely no sense. They were trying to give me the wrong medication when it was a refill to begin with, so how can you mess that up?!!! Also, making excuses blaming others. Forcing several trips and calls. For a pharmacist to even raise there voice at a MD provider to begin with is beyond unprofessional. She should get fired for her poor and negligent behavior. I was surprised the way she treats a superior to her especially when in reality everyone should be treated equally. The techs all give you different answers, don't waste your time here. Even the ones who have been there for years so they have no excuse of messing up your order. They are inconsistent, stupid and down right inappropriate. Picking up a script is always important for the patient, and they disregarded everything about that one to many times. There's plenty of pharmacies near by with great hours or other CVS locations where it's organized, has a hard working staff, and most importantly competent. read more
