How are we supposed to trust that you are supposed to be helping us to cure our illness. If you guys can't even keep the areas clean of the debris and God only knows what else. It's time to give this very special pharmacy the review it deserves. CVS has messed up our medications, failed to look into our insurance coverage, given us different prices on the same drug without explanation, kept duplicate accounts for one person in our household thus not being able to see a filled prescription that they actually have, and every single time fails to have the prescription by the promised date. My poor husband always makes multiple trips instead of calling because we are so close he figures he'll "swing by". He's swung by to a prescription promised to be filled days before several times only for them still not to have it. The failures of the pharmacy staff actually create a safety concern in our home so it's time, we're going to switch pharmacies even though this is a block away. Sorry, I forgot to add how rude and inconvenienced staff have acted when we inquire basic insurance or medication pick up times, and my husband is exceedingly sensitive in how he interacts with anyone in customer service... read more

They gouged me. Man, I sure do hate it when you have to have a stupid card to get the deal. I was feeling absolutely lousy with a throbbing headache. My mission? To get cough medicine. It was $5.99 with a stupid CVS card or $8.99 without one. I didn't have one of their stupid cards. And all I wanted to do was leave and go home to lie down. The cashier asked me if I had a card. "No" was my response. Ka-ching! That will be $8.99. Bastards... I had experienced a similiar situation at a Walgreens and I swore I'd never return. And I haven't. That was 2 years ago. CVS pharmacy service and just service in general is horrible. And I sickens me when I think about the thousands of dollars I've spent there over the years. I'm dying from the flu. I wanted to get some Tamaflu. An Asian American male pharmacist Told me that I needed my drivers license to purchase it. Now this is totally ridiculous.in other words you can be a meth head and have a drivers license and get what you need but if you're dying from the flu and have no license you're screwed. But rules are rules. I had other items to purchase and proceeded to the front of the store. If you are ever in a CVS and there are 2 or 3 people in front of you be prepared wait 15-25 minutes to get wrung out. Clerks behind the counter are typically senior citizens or younger people who just don't give a S***! After feeling dizzy and legs starting to weaken I dropped my items gave up and proceeded home which is in Aston. I rolled the dice and went to the Aston CVS in hopes of better luck. Same horrible experience. I made a special trip home to get my license. By this point I'm ready to pass out from feeling dizzy and my entire body aching from flu symptoms. Adter waiting approx 10 minutes to speak to a pharmacist I had license in hand and was ready for my Tamaflu. That pharmacist proceeded to tell me that I needed to have a prescription from a doctor regardless if I had my drivers license or not. At this point IM FURIOUS, EXHAUSTED AND ALMOST DELIRIOUS. The last part of this story ends with the pharmacist recommending an over the counter medicine. She asked me if I wanted the powder form to mix with hot water or a capsule to swallow. I said the capsule please. Of course the incompetent grabbed the powder to mix with hot water. The only reason I'm taking the time to write this review is because I have had like 5 or 6 other experiences between Aston and Brookhaven CVS. In closing the sales clerks are slow and lazy, the pharmacists are incompetent and clearly need more education or training as far as what customers can and can't by across the counter. My very last comment for anyone who cares, I witnessed someone purchase illegal drugs right in front of my eyes like two weeks ago in the parking lot at the CVS Brookhaven. Right now I have 102 fever and medicine I don't want. I'm shifting to Walgreens. Bigger nicer and cleaner establishment. I've gone a few times now to Walgreens and it's a very satisfying experience. read more
