Oh come on... this CVS is a good one. When I was 9 I told my mother I wanted to own a CVS when I grew up. My Christmas presents were always CVS gift cards (and they still are). I heart CVS. That being said, this one is the closest to my house AND to my work. Be jealous, I have a 6 minute walking commute. I have gotten rain checks, given coupons, and have always gotten what I needed. Actually, my receipt tonight said I've saved $230 in 2009. Sooooo sometimes their elevators don't work. Sometimes their employees are rude. Sometimes you have to ask for a rain check because they are sold out. But, having this CVS be my main one for 6 years now.. I'm more than happy with them. read more

I attempted to get an emergency script filled for my prescription at this location due to the fact I had missed that opportunity at my own pharmacy ,and had always considered CVS to be the go to people in a late night instance. I had found out however their hours changed to not being open past the hour of 6 or 6 30 pm Used to be 24 hrs Can't say I blame them for this as most people seeking illegal scripts and all kinds of problems coming off of the copley square vagrants seeking drugs ,as well as risk of being held up late at night and CVS probably not wishing to pay for a police detail. I digress ....So I go there and am advised the script I have ..without an insurance code from my original pharmacy ,would cost $1,500.00 so I Take the hit and think OK one time Ill take it in the A$$ and buy it and learn to get to my own pharmacy on time next time. So the pharmacist tells me never mind I hate to see you pay $1,500.00 out of pocket ,she says come back with your card so we can charge back to your card the purchase and get the code from your pharmacy and we will get you $1,475.00 back to you . Again all we need is your card you used to charge it with and we will get proper code from your pharmacy . So i call today to speak to the pharmacist and he states she should have never said that ,you will need your actual receipt. So they dont have to live up to statements they allow their staff to promise people. BUYER BEWARE WITH CVS they can change what they tell you at any minute ,DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY TELL YOU UNLESS ITS IN WRITING OR SUFFER MY FATE!!!! Again not so bad it only happen once and of course I will never go to CVS in my life I will use WALLGREENS FROM NOW ON . read more

Conveniently located right near Bolyston and Newbury Street if you need to grab something real quick. Went here for a tdap shot and waited a bit too long, considering they had 4 pharmacists/healthcare professionals working. No other complaints - just the long wait for getting one shot. read more

This is the WORST pharmacy I've ever been to. I go here at least three times a month for the past 4 months to get prescriptions refilled since it's right next to my work and I've NEVER had them get it correctly on the first time. They never do my automatic refills, I have to remind them each month and they always seem to loose my prescriptions. Not to mention all the employees are babies and never have any idea what they're doing. The only reason I keep going here is because its so close to work but trips to the pharmacy here cause way too much distress its not even worth the location. read more

The pharmacy staff is excellent! I have had multiple prescriptions filled here every month for the past 9 months and the staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. When necessary, the pharmacy team has promptly investigated and followed up on issues that have risen in the care provider, insurance, regulatory chain of communication and has also promptly exchanged information with other pharmacies when I am traveling. Overall, I recognize and commend the efforts of the staff and highly recommend this pharmacy. read more

I have a range of medical conditions and as a result, I am at the pharmacy on a regular basis. These woman are the most entitled people I have met. They treat you as if you are beneath them- for some reason I don't know. If I didn't live on the block I would not step foot in there. They don't deserve their jobs. They frequently give you looks for the prescriptions that you do and look at you like they are doing you a favor if you ask them a question that may be out of their realm. There is one gentleman and I think one asian woman that is nice but the rest of them are an embarrassment to the CVS name. read more
