This review is for the pharmacy ONLY. Most pharmacists are very nice, and handle lines efficiently. I never spend more than 30 minutes from prescription drop-off to pickup. This location is usually not too busy, however some of the customers that come here can be extremely inconsiderate and hold up the line. The other day, the pharmacist was helping an older lady at drop-off and kept arguing with her in Farsi because of an issue with the prescription. The pharmacist should've told her to step aside because the line already had 7 people waiting while we have to hear this never ending Farsi exchange. Expect incredibly long, slow pharmacy lines. I've actually never been to a slower CVS. Also, don't expect to ever get through to speak with somebody in the pharmacy department via phone. I have called multiple times and been on hold over 10 minutes each time to the point of deciding to just hang up. I've been in line and witnessed the phones endlessly ringing without a single employee batting an eye or the pharmacist appearing to have any sense of urgency in answering it. I use this pharmacy because it's within walking distance but it's the most useless pharmacy I've ever used. I would highly recommend getting your prescriptions filled anywhere else! read more

Update: I'm not sure why the hell I didn't take the initiative before, but better late than never. I was told recently that I could not get a very common drug that I really needed (obviously). I've been on it for ten years! CVS pharmacist informs me that it's not available, and that it's. I'm wondering if there is a problem with the manufacturer (he provided NO insight and could have cared less), so I saunter into a local Rite Aid to grab something else and decide to inquire about this with their pharmacist. She was lovely and informed me that it was "no problem at all". And just like that, after being a customer of CVS since it was Long's Drugs (gawd, how long ago was that?!), I am now a devoted Rite Aid customer forever. The pharmacist made it SUPER easy to switch my scrips over and I signed up for discount coupons so easily on the way out at the register. I scheduled the Pneumonia vaccine at my doctor's recommendation. Being younger than the allowed age (48) the website, when scheduling my appointment, clearly says that I can schedule it if I have one of the diseases on the CDC list that qualify me (which I do and is in my medical record and my prescription list can also prove it). They even show the list. The lady at the counter told me they can't give it without a doctor's prescription. Nowhere on the website did it say this and my doctor who has many similar patients (i.e. same disease as I have), I'm sure would have known this as well. Even if the lady behind the counter is correct, which I question, the website should have prevented me from scheduling the appointment or asked if I had a prescription. On top of that, I decided to pivot to getting the Covid vaccine which I'm due for but my doctor insisted I don't do them together. She refused me saying they can only do weekends with an appointment...since I had one, I guess she meant an appointment specifically for the Covid vaccine. Good customer service would have allowed me to switch but that's not what this CVS provides. I'll do my Covid vaccine at a different location where I'll inquire about what this lady claims and if she's wrong, I'll post a follow-up to this review. read more

Beware! If you are fulfilling prescriptions, this CVS short changes your pills. The first time it happened, we were missing 10 pills. When we brought it to the store's attention, they blamed it on the "machine". Then it happened again but this time we were short by 22 pills. Clearly this is an established business practice. They caring a wide range of items, make up, vitamins, advil, cold medicine etc. They are have a small food section for quick lunch on the go. They always have frozen items the guys in my office love! They have security here since people try to steal things here often. Large under ground parking structure with plenty of parking available. Staff friendliness is hit or miss but the self checkout is great! The CVS card saves you money on your purchases. read more

The worst CVS for flu shots. I can't believe how disorganized they are. They have multiple people with the same time slot and they don't even have a list to manage all the people waiting! Why have appointments if you can't honor them?? Good thing there are multiple CVSs, might drive further but rather do that then wait here! It's conveniently located but the pharmacy is inept. While I'd like to keep filling scrips here went 3X to try and pick one up and it's hard to believe that the Dr hadn't called it in at least 1X since after my first visit, I spoke with him directly. Furthermore, they couldn't find the record for my loyalty card although I've used it many times for regular merch at this store. Thought maybe I'd give the pharmacy another shot but called to confirm they had another scrip ready and, again, no prescription. This time I was at the dr's office and know that they called. Nice big location with a parking garage in an area that really needed some basic shopping. You can get pretty much anything you want here - small grocery selection, pharmacy, random odds and ends. For the relatively large size of the store, they need more registers. And even though I am not a fan of the self check-out, they also have a small number of these job-killers. Biggest minus at this store... the evening we were there, a very unfriendly security guard was menacing patrons. I'm not sure what he was so angry about or really how rough Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills actually IS at 5:00 PM on a weeknight, but he seems to think we're all dangerous a-holes. I was very put off by this guy and his attitude. I get that he's there for security, but you know, he could be a little friendly. This is a CVS, not Guantanamo. read more

poor standard of care. got new medication the other day and when i requested a consult the pharmacist simply looked over from her computer and asked "can i help you?" and looked right back at her screen. i tried to talk to her and she answered in short, curt sentences, still mostly focused on her computer and not the patient in front of her who needed guidance on this new medicine. i felt like i had to force my questions to be answered and this is a very poor standard of care for any healthcare professional. providers are busy, they're overwhelmed, there's burnout. but please take a second to look your patients in the eye when they're asking for help. read more

Don't step in here. They charged me twice and wouldn't refund!! ($60) The manager said payment was still pending so I would have to come back in a few days. Who wants to come back!? The only reason I shop at this CVS is because they tempt me with ExtraBucks. Sure, they are conveniently located, but there's always a line and only one incompetent person manning the register until customers suggest they call someone else to the front. Yesterday, I made the mistake of trying to pay with a check. Never again. After the cashier tried numerous times to run my check thru some machine, I asked for the supervisor. I was surprised when my cashier said she was one. I suggested moving to another machine because obviously this one didn't work (duh!). Same problem. It's located right on the corner which is great, I never have problems finding parking and the parking lot is easily accessible. The pharmacy staff however is extremely slow an unprofessional, while they all seem like vey nice people it just seems like they just don't know how to handle all the costumes. It takes way longer than it should there is always a long line to pick up your prescription. And even drop it off. They have a drop off area in the parking lot, but good luck getting a pharmacist to actually respond to you, you can sit there all day and no one will do anything yore better off just parking and going up stairs. As a pharmacy I don't recommended it, as a stop for snacks, some groceries etc. it's better. Although the self check in is sometimes broken and it takes and slow. I do go here often because it is the closest drug store to my house and I think it's convenient. read more

I am so livid right now! I have been going to this pharmacy for 10 years, it's never been great, but it's close to my apt . Anyways they got so cheap this month that they started using an Indian generic brand called "Aurobindo " it is awful ! I feel zero pain relief, and it's made me feel sick, I have used it the last week , so I went in today and told them it's making me sick, I need another distributor, its New Years Eve, Sunday, how am I going to get another prescription? Why should I have to ? All because they want to make more money by using medicine from India that doesn't work? I do all the right things, get a yearly MRI, go to the Dr. Every month for a check up, & to get my prescription - now I have to work for 10 hours in pain sick-so CVS executives can make more $!!! read more

This is the worst pharmacy experience of my life. When I walked up there was one person before me which is OK but during their transaction to a gay male pharmacy workers were fighting with each other. Fighting about fax machines fighting about time fighting about everything that they could fight and nitpick about each other. I guess maybe they were dating or something because that's what it seemed like. The man at the counter was really trying to be helpful and the main pharmacy guy maybe the manager he was the one yelling weird stuff at him. It was completely uncomfortable and the customers were talking really low so they can hear the fights that we're going on. When I was done I asked the woman do you text me when it's ready because I want to sit in the car... she pointed "you sit there!" I was like I don't wanna sit there I want to go to the car so do you guys text me and she walked away. Like I think everybody is unhappy here they all seem miserable. Don't get in this profession if you don't want to deal with people properly. And when I was waiting in my car they called my phone and the main guy that was barking at people prior he said that he doesn't "feel comfortable" filling my prescription. My doctor provides me with three months worth of medication because I have extreme arthritis in my spine. I have been under my doctors care for 10 years if not longer. This guy was very happy telling me that he was in charge and not comfortable giving me the pills. Wtf??? It's really weird because my insurance covers the pills 100%. If my insurance thought it was excessive they wouldn't cover it and it was pre-authorize today. The pharmacist is not my doctor so I don't know why he gets to make the decision. Parking - super easy Store - usually well-stocked and organized Pharmacy - kind of a nightmare There's almost always a line of people waiting at the front counters, self-checkouts (when they're working), and especially at the pharmacy. Overall, the pharmacy is the reason for the 2 Stars rating. The pharmacy employees often seem like they're constantly rushing but also not doing anything at the same time. I've stood at the pharmacy for 45 minutes and listened the entire time to a speaker telling the employees that multiple phone calls were waiting on hold, and only saw an employee once pick up the phone - and that was to call for a manager and security to come talk to a woman who was upset that she had to wait longer for her prescriptions. On the rare occasion that I've wanted to use the drive-thru, it seems to always be closed, as well. Why even use the space for a drive-thru if it's NEVER open? I'm transferring my prescriptions elsewhere and won't be stopping back into this CVS, if possible. read more

This is your typical CVS although it seems to be just a bit bigger in size than most others in the LA area. There usually isn't more than one register open but with the self checkout you have about four cashiers. Most people struggle with these automated machines so it makes me wonder how they're gonna survive when everything becomes automated. Parking is underneath and the elevator may or may not work. Pros: 1. Location is extremely convenient and the parking underneath make it possible to dash in for small items 2. most over the counter medicines and other small items are well stocked and readily available. Cons: 1. the pharmacy is rather disorganized. The pharmacists can be rude, also the staff does not routinely use any of the CVS web or app based tools to help facilitate things. The system there has broken down multiple times resulting in long waits even for simple refills. My family stopped using this site and moved to a smaller pharmacy for our medications. There are many places to get your medicines that are nearby that are considerably easier to use and more friendly to customers (esp. those that are not feeling well). read more
