Since the Rite Aid in our neighbourhood is almost non-existent except for their amazing pharmacy, I made the decision to start using this CVS Pharmacy and wow, it was a super duper experience! Their beauty, skincare and make-up section is incredible! Anything and everything you ever dreamed about is there ... including an amazing beautician named Tiara! Can you imagine having someone there to help you! Not only was she professional, she was familiar with everything there, was courteous and very friendly! RX review only (as I've never had an issue with this particular store location or general staff, experience has always been fine), but the pharmacy, well, as many have already reported, that's another matter. I was literally on hold with the RX dept for an hour. AN HOUR..they kept picking the line up and immediately putting me back on hold without so much as a hello or please hold...for an hour. And yes, I also kept checking my CVS text messages and online (via my CVS acct) as the Dr's office confirmed with me more than once that two rxs were called in to CVS Rx BH -- apparently only one out of two rx were acknowledged by CVS Rx BH). I kept checking online while waiting for CVS RX to pick up the phone, but even now (2 hours later) my rx info continues to be incomplete/inaccurate as are the texts). At minute 61, I gave up on their super fun waiting game and, with only 2 more hours left in the medical business day (my procedure is early Mon) I called my Dr's office to call prep RX in to another pharmacy (ya know, one where they still answer the phone, even late on a Friday afternoon). I found one on Yelp with 5 star reviews and, get this, they answered the phone and OMG called me personally when they had a question! So on that happy note, if anyone is in need of a good pharmacy (that's also open Saturdays) try 986 at (310) 496-7555. I'm happy I found them. As for CVS RX...AVOID the CVS BH Pharmacy if you value your time and sanity...'cause this understaffed nonsense is exhausting. A Great CVS Associate June 24, 2023 I came here today to pick up prescriptions for both my wife and myself. The store was not busy and underground parking was easy. No long pharmacy line and one person was just leaving. I walked up to the associate at the cash register and was greeted by the nicest smile. Gave her my info and she retrieved my wife's and my prescriptions. It couldn't have been easier. Alex (Alexandra) made my day with her helpful suggestions and pleasant personality. I wish all the people I come in contact with would be like her... she really is an asset to CVS. Corporate CVS people should come and work here for a day. They wouldn't last!!! I think the staff here should get a pay raise, at least double!!! Attempted getting vaccines. I had an appointment and waited over 15-20 minutes to be acknowledged. I tried asking the staffing of 4 members behind the pharmacy counter for assistance and was ignored despite several polite attempts at starting an opening dialogue until I had to speak louder where it caught the attention of nearby customers, also awaiting professional service. There was no one in front of me for a Vaccine and no one was at the counter for a majority of my current wait. I'm writing this review to pass the time of not having my time valued in attempts of trying to get a ETA of when I can return to work. Made a vaccine appointment for 7PM in advance, but when I got there to check in in advance as requested was told to wait and only 25 minutes later after trying to get their attention for an update was told "our vaccinator left". Still waiting for a pharmacist but the line is super long. If you don't have the staff for vaccinations, please do NOT advertise them and ask inmunocompromised patients to sit in a waiting area with no context about the fact that you're understaffed and are not intending to honor the appointment. CVS corporate needs to stop advertising vaccinations until they can staff their pharmacy appropriately so patients like me don't drive across the city just to be placed at extended risk. After 35 minutes of waiting, I was scolded and told I wasn't in the system and that they didn't "know I was here", despite standing and giving all my information. What else were we supposed to do if the pharmacists were not communicating with each other? We did everything as we were told and we were treated like troublemakers even though the issue was entirely with CVS's tech and we've lost nearly an hour. Both my boyfriend and I haven't had great experiences with the pharmacy here recently. We don't believe they have people's best interests at heart. Pharmacists here don't seem to be very compassionate, patient or kind. Being a pharmacist in the healthcare industry should mean taking pride in helping those who need help. It isn't about being capricious and greedy. The male pharmacist I spoke to seemed really nice at first. I felt like he wanted to help me out because of my situation and I was truly, truly grateful. The next day he made a suggestion that I come by for one-time courtesy outdoor pickup and asked that I drive to this location and follow a few directions. I called in advance like he asked, right before I left my home, but when I arrived a few minutes later, I was ignored. I was left on hold waiting for an* hour and a half* but didn't receive the help I was promised before I left. It felt like they were withholding my medication to force me to enter. Or banking on me to leave out of frustration from being muted over the phone for so long, so that they wouldn't have to come through on their offer and meet me outside. Besides being unconcerned about my money and time and health, it was unprofessional and petty. Due to my income bracket, healthcare is a very, very difficult (and sometimes dangerous) place to navigate. It doesn't help when the red tape and greed trickles down to pharmacy chains. read more

Pharmecy customer service is very bad. They just don't care if you wait 30 or 45 minutes Expect to stand in line to pick up an already filled Prescription for about 40 minutes. Loyalty member copay is not entered correctly in their systems most of the times which will require the copay to be corrected and you will be asked to go and wait in a second line for correction to be made. So instead of Zero copay you would have to pay $200 without the Loyalty member coupon not good at all. If you complain why the loyalty member copay has worked in the last 7 months why in the last 3 months this is happening? Is ridiculous. I will be moving all my perception to another Pharmecy immidialaty. When I complained the pharmacist she told me we are all over worked here and we are not happy at this company. I'm trying to end my relationship with this store. Not so easy. The pharmacy I'm trying to transfer my prescriptions to has called them and cannot get them to respond. They asked me to try. I've been on hold with them for 60 minutes. Finally gave up. Their web site shows only how to transfer to ANOTHER CVS, not any other pharmacy. The rudest pharmacy staff I've ever encountered not to mention incompetent. My dr sent the prescriptions on Thursday, so I stopped by on Friday evening to check on the status. I waited 15 minutes in line even though there was only one person ahead of me. When I finally got my turn, the lady with Mediterranean accent, beside that she didn't seem to know what she was doing and couldn't help me, sounded very rude. She said that she couldn't find anything in the computer, and that I have to wait for the pharmacist who wasn't around and she wasn't sure when the pharmacist be back. I don't think she actually meant to be rude, she just don't have basic communication skills in customer service... I'm just not used to be spoken to in such manners, and left the store feeling very unpleasant. Wait, it gets worse... When I called on Sunday to check what's going on. I was worried that my dr sent prescriptions to different cvs pharmacy accidentally since I haven't heard from them and have to start my medication on Monday. A guy that answered the phone, said that they're out of one of the medicine, and the other one isn't covered by my insurance. They need to contact my dr to change the medicine for another one that's covered. When I asked why I haven't been contacted about this issues, he said they called me when I know they haven't. He started yelling at me. OMFG I hung up the phone because I could no longer talk to the person. And right after I hung up, I got the phone call from the pharmacy with automated voice message informing me that they will contact my dr. First of all, if the Pharmasy is out of the medication, shouldn't they notify the client about it and inform when they get it, so the patient can make a choice either to wait for it, or transfer it to another pharmacy that actually have it in stock... Usually, I would get a txt and call from them if there was any issues or delays. I haven't used the pharmacy much, but never had any problems until now. Second, if the medication is not covered by the insurance, inform me right away and give me options.... Maybe I'm willing to pay for it out of packet or seek another insurance that would cover it. I don't want a different medication. I know for sure there's no way I'm not going back there, and I live right next to it. read more

Avoid this pharmacy, if possible. I had been hesitant to write this review, but as I currently find myself waiting on hold with Covid, I feel it is the appropriate time to express my frustration. On one occasion, they kept me on hold for an extended period of time, causing me to drive to the pharmacy only to realize there was no line at all. I showed them my phone, which was still on hold, to prove my point. Another time, Cedars sent a prescription for a colonoscopy, and I expected to pick it up a few days before the procedure. However, the pharmacy put the prescription on hold without informing me. When I called to inquire, they claimed they didn't have it in stock but assured me they would have it the next day. I patiently waited, but the following day, they informed me of a delay. In a panic, I had Cedars send the prescription to Rite Aid, who had it readily available. The day before my colonoscopy, CVS sent me a message stating they had the prescription. By then, it was too late. I stayed with CVS because I like the convenience of prescription delivery, which is why I had initially chosen them to fill my Covid medication. However, I am again waiting on hold, and my prescription is still in process. The automated system is horrible, and it is impossible to reach anyone. Everything is in a locked case, including the toothpaste. I often have to press the button multiple times to get someone to unlock the case. I have reached my limit and will not be returning to this pharmacy. read more

The service is very slow. Probably due to staffing issues. The pharmacists put here are continually the worst ones you could ask for. It has been like this for the longest - even though awful ones like Sara Haroni have finally been fired for mis-filling so many medications, CVS does not have the sense to put proper pharmacists in this location. Its a very unpleasant experience just coming to this location as well - you have to venture though garage parking that smells like urine and maryjane only to find yourself in line next to people with the worst, grating, strident accents on the planet. It's a nice CVS, just wish they were open 24 hours--their hours are so limited. This is a good CVS to keep open 24 hours. It's right on busy Wilshire in Beverly Hills, good covered underground parking, and the store has a good feel to it, excellent neighborhood. There is not another 24 hour drug store or 24 hour convenience store within walking distance. The staff at this store is great so long as you don't need to interact with them. Story from the Pharmacy area today: Pharmacy Clerk: "Next, Yes?" David: "May I have one box of Claritin-D 24 hours please." (Clartin-D is only available behind the Pharmacy counter thanks to the Federal Government.) Clerk: "[Scanning the Shelf], Sorry we are out, we did not get our Monday delivery." David: "I see Claritin-D boxes on the shelf?" Clerk: "Those are not what you want!" David: "But it seems to say Claritin-D, 24 Hours on them--can you take another look?" David: "Before I pay can you just check the register screen and make sure that the scanned coupon worked and deducted 25%?" I enjoy this CVS. They have underground parking and I find it easy to park & get in and out. This seems to be one of the cleanest and most organized CVS locations that I have ever visited. They have a decent grocery selection and they have had all of the sundries that I have stopped in to purchase. The employees seem cheerful and I usually get asked at least twice if I need any help while I'm shopping. I have never used the pharmacy here. If I could give 0 stars I would. I usually use a delivery pharmacy but got hit with bad hives and needed to fill a prescription that was written from my doctor. I called to see if they could fill it over the phone and waited for 35 minutes without someone answering. Once I got there the pharmacist had me wait at the counter while he did stuff on his computer for 5 minutes. He filled the prescription and said it would be 10 minutes. This quickly turned into 20 minutes. The pharmacist had no sympathy for my discomfort and took his time while there was no one in line. Never fills my rx unless I spend 20 minutes on the phone. Every single time. This pharmacy does not even update the cvs website or app that they have received my rx. So I waste time asking my doctor's office to send rx again because I expect the cvs pharmacy website to be accurate. They expect you to show up to the pharmacy in person then wait 15 minutes in line to request they fill it then wait 40 minutes for them to fill it then get back in line to wait 15 minutes to pick it up every time. CVS never hires enough staff for this pharmacy to actually function. Please make the CVS pharmacy app work like it's supposed to by hiring staff to actually fill the rx without making customer show up in person first. read more
