I have been sick for the past week and am extremely dehydrated. I placed an order with this CVS on the app for same-day delivery ( placed it around 430pm-was supposed to be delivered by 820pm). Here it is 1030pm and when I called to check on my order ( which was a fete in itself getting through to a person in the store), the manager proceeds to tell me they have never done same day delivery..this was a lie. She said she has been manager for 3 yrs and that is not a service they offer. I explained that I ordered on their site-had an order number and have even been charged. She told me to take it up with corporate. I know for a fact they do same day delivery because I have used this many times. read more

Funky CVS within walking distance to a friend's house... stopped by there one day to pick up some necessities. Unlike other stops I've made in similar stores, I was pleased to be greeted by an alert and attentive staff. Absolute worst CVS in Atlanta. Extremely rude staff both in person and in the phone. 2 hours ago they told me my prescription was ready. Was prescribed by a CVS minute clinic doctor. This CVS then sent me a text to see if I needed it, but they link they sent did not work. I called them back, and they said it was ready. But, told me they could transfer to a drive through location instead if I wanted, citing they preferred to not have to deal with clients directly. I was taken aback and said they could transfer it to another CVD, but refused to foward it to another CVS to do so. They said I had to call, and that is there policy. I told them my policy is to pick up the prescription where there own doctor called it in. So, I declined and came to pick it up. But, of course it's not ready. Over 2 hours after confirming it was ready. They were rude again in person asking why I did not want to to a drive through. It does not matter, and I have never had any other CVS location push clients on the phone and in person to go somewhere else before, so they would have less work and less scripts to fill. This is my closest CVS and also the one I almost always use post-dr's appointment when I need a prescription or OTC meds. Parking is a bit of a pain (they've now metered the street spots and I've learned the hard way not to mess with ParkAtlanta, the jerks!) and they usually have a guy "stationed" in the Brookwood Square shopping center to make sure only patrons of one of the establishments park there. But the pharmacists are nice and usually really helpful and as efficient as is possible especially since this store gets a lot of hospital traffic in addition to the typical person-filling-a-script business. Learned yesterday that any of the "D" allergy meds (ie, Claritin D which I was buying) require an ID and you are limited to how many boxes you can buy a day. Learned as a result that this is because decongestant is a key ingredient in meth-making! Something new every day, I tell ya. Typical selection of minor food items, like frozen meals, ice cream, chips, etc. Pretty good selection of girly stuff like face cream, etc. Don't buy Aveda there- it's a knock-off. Main reason to go is convenience and nice pharmacy staff. read more

Customer service at this store's location has become so poor I dread shopping there and only go for its convenience and proximity to my dry cleaner. Pharmacy pick up lines are long, slow, and the people working them are apathetic. I left without my prescription today because I ran out of time waiting during my lunch break. The coupon printer wasn't working at the front either. The self checkout kiosk wasn't functioning properly but one of the cashiers was pleasant and came over Thelp get me checked out. Please take a look at this location and do what it takes to get this busy store back on track for the people in this neighborhood and nearby hospital who rely on you. The urgent care placed my prescription at a CVS in Druid Hills. I asked them when I first got there not to place the prescription there but to give me the paper prescription because I just moved here and wasn't sure of the CVS I was going to. The other CVS (Druid Hills) had already placed the order so I was told by as I stood at the counter at 1943 PEACHTREE ROAD, NE, ATLANTA CVS. The girl let the Pharmacist ( Karen McNeil) know. She said we will call them and get this taken if care of. I thought I would have to go across town. Or wait until tomorrow to get he prescription filled. It was almost closing time. Karen McNeil took charge and got all 4 prescriptions filled and in the nick of time! She is on top of her game and very friendly!! Thank you CVS for hiring a great compassionate pharmacist! This is the worst CVS I have ever been to on my life. I went here to fill some prescriptions after being diagnosed with bronchitis and the pharmacists were all useless and rude. Long story short: they saw how sick I was, could barely breath through coughs, only to make me wait an hour for my perceptions to then tell me they weren't going to be able to fill one of them because they were out of the medication. All the while I witness them expedite a perception for someone who came in after me (and obviously not as sick as me). This place is hell. I repeat: do not go here for your prescriptions! read more

Most of the staff that work in the pharmacy are really friendly and helpful, that's what the single star is for. I have noticed a few newer faces at the checkout, a small number of them that I personally believe shouldn't be working in retail. That is the reason four stars have been removed. One woman in particular, blonde, roughly 5.5', mid 40's, was very rude and unprofessional towards my wife when she was picking up a prescription. The lady asked my wife her name and when told she replied in a very condescending tone, "how do you spell that? Are you serious? is that really your name?". I am glad my wife has patients as I on the other hand would have told this dumb ass to go swivel if I was anywhere in the vicinity when this took place. You are there to work, not judge somebody on whatever their name is and as a paying customer I expect you to do your damn job and not ask any other questions apart from "how are you", "last name", "date of birth", "please sign your name, and swipe your card, and have a nice day". One thing I would like to know is if you cant spell a simple name, what are you doing working in a pharmacy? I cant wait to go in next and see this asshole, so I can rip her a new one. read more

Every other retail store chain is doing a phenomenal job of being on top of this during A PANDEMIC - please sanitize what the customers are touching especially since you have a lot of sick people walking in the door for the pharmacy!!!! read more

DISORGANIZATION. That is the glaring truth about what it going on in this pharmacy. And, I must say if there is something I look for in a pharmacy it is organization. They are understaffed during peak hours, and many of the team members are rude (including the head pharmacist). It is also worth noting that some of the staff are truly helpful and pleasant. I've used this location for a little over a year, but as of yesterday evening when I witnessed the chaos and cluster#($* that was going on as they couldn't find my prescription. A prescription I needed last night (and which was found apparently after I had given up (and they had told me it was never called in) because it was there this morning). I am done. And it is worth mentioning that I was not the only one having issues. There were many many other frustrated customers there as well yesterday evening waiting in lines to speak to drop-off and pick up. Also, It is REALLY sketchy there at night. read more

Parmacy was out of stock on one prescription 3 times; the last time made no offer but told me to "Call back in a few days." Rude service and no offer to understand that if you are out of a prescription it may not be a good situatioon! Regular check out is good and store is large and well stocked on retail items. I have been going to this CVS for as long as it has been open - 10+ years. The pharmacist and staff are always so nice and accommodating. Tonight I needed special help getting meds for a family member traveling from LA. Garia (pharmacist) went out of her way to get the needed prescriptions for me. Don't bother going to the CVS on Cheshire Bridge for a Covid-19 test. I went two weeks ago (tomorrow) and still don't have the results. I've been coming to this CVS since 2013 when I moved pretty close to it. All of my doctor's offices are pretty close to it so it's convenient to leave an appointment and pick up a prescription if I need it. Some times there's a long wait and sometimes there are students (I think that's what they are) working behind the counter who have NO professionalism or sense of customer service. Aside from that the others are nice. Seriously need to improve on the wait times though!! read more

This is a completely acceptable CVS. I do love CVS, in general, and this one is well-stocked and has friendly, efficient staff. The layout is a bit of a challenge to me, mostly because it has two separate entrances and seems sort of like two separate stores. It's not the layout I expect but once I reconcile myself with the layout, all is well. It is a big store and has a big parking lot to go with it. If you are walking, you can use the front entrance on Peachtree Street and, if you are driving, you can use the back entrance off the parking lot. It's not as new as some other CVS stores around town but it's still a good one. read more

They are not helpful at all and never make an effort to go one extra step to help all involved. They are short with you and never offer an apology or smile. This pharmacy is across the street from my house. They have always been rude and always be completely incompetent but they were close to my house and open 24 hrs. This evening at 6:15 my daughter needed an antibiotic but surprise now this cvs pharmacy located right across the street from a hospital closes at 6! so we had to drive all the way to North Druid Hills Rd to help my 6 year old get better. After spending time at Piedmont ER, I went to have my scripts filled at the CVS across the street. Every pharmacist I spoke with from drop off to pick up had an attitude towards me regardless of my friendly tone. I dropped off scripts came back after grabbing a quick bite to eat and only 2/3 scripts were there at pick up, never received a phone call for any discrepancy either. I had to pay and then had to go back to drop off to find out why the 3rd script wasn't ready, for whatever reason the pick up pharmacist acted like she didn't have that knowledge. So after going back to drop off I find out that my insurance doesn't cover an inhaler for this third script. So the pharmacists tell me to call the ER back and request a change. When I speak to the ER they say it's the pharmacist's job to call in an alternative. I have the ER on speaker for the pharmacist but she acts clueless. Then the ER transfers me to the actual nurse practitioner I saw who again affirmed that was the pharmacists job to call back and change not mine before I even said anything. I tell him I think they're just backlogged so he says ok I'll call it in again, sorry they're being so difficult. So now I have my 3 scripts 2 hours post ER and another hour drive home. I am also pretty sure I was charged more here for script copays than at Walgreens even though I have CVS Caremark drug insurance, just baffling. CVS at this location should seriously reconsider processing standards, just seems like a lot of excuses to me which are totally unwanted and unwarranted after any visit to a hospital. This is just another example of how people work in the health care system who really shouldn't, it also shows for as much money as U.S. Consumers spend on prescription drugs the lack of empathy in the drug community or personal understanding is the true loss. I hope pharmacists at this location will take more pride and care in their job to help people and not to hurt people. Compassion and empathy really are powerful drugs in and of themselves, you don't need a pharmacist's degree to get that. Thanks best for you and your future operations. read more

Target/CVS pharmacies are the absolute WORST!!! Heaven forbid you should actually need a medical prescription provided by your Dr. In a timely fashion!!! Every prescription they don't have in stock. I've had to wait 4 days to have a blood pressure prescrip filled!! REALLY!!! Two days out of the hospital my Dr. Prescribed a shot which had to be called in and once provided I have to take to my physician to be administered.. this had to be done before I travel for the holiday... well here we are on Friday after being given the run around by these idiots in the CVS specialty pharmacy for 2 days and I still do not have the meds I need!!! This place needs to be shut down!!!! I'm beyond pissed and will NOT use their services again!!! Crappy/ poor customer service!!! read more

This cvs location was within walking distance of my buckhead address. This cvs has 2 entrances; one for the pedestrians and 1 for the drivers in the rear. At a certain time the pedestrian entrance is closed and people have to walk to the rear entrance. At times there are some weirdos in here as well as local celebrities. The regular store employees are cool but the new ones need to work on their customer service. Every time I've gone I have had to wait in long lines that moved fast when the seasoned employees were working. The employees seem to always be busy stocking shelves and doing tasks. But this section I'm posting a picture of needs to be stocked regularly lol the pharmacist when I've gone has always been knowledgeable and friendly as well as the pharmacy staff. It's across the street from piedmont hospital and walking distance to the package store if you are the type who cocktails their medicine lol lol lol there's a chik fil a about a block away and fresh 4u Mediterranean restaurant steps away from the cvs if you need food to take with your meds. Decent store with high prices but sometimes you catch really good sales :-) read more

I made the mistake of trying to self check out a peachpass startup kit. No one told me that it couldn't work like that so I thought I could. Then when it froze up, they checked me out at the cashier counter but there apparently was no way to cancel the transaction. They tried everything and then said they were going to call customer service but didn't tell me until 30 minutes had passed that I could leave and wait for them to call me. After they called me, I had to call back 3 more times to get the refund for my $102.50 charge on my debit card. I then thought I should wait to see if they refund it back after all my phone calls but I am going on a couple months and nothing. I am starting to believe they will not be refunding me back. I love CVS, but this makes me not want to go back to this location. read more

I called CVS Pharmacy around 12:30pm today to ask for a prescription to be transferred to this location. I asked if I could pick it up at 1:30pm, and I was told that it would be no problem. I didn't make it to the pharmacy until 2:30pm, and my prescription was not ready. I was told it would be another 10 to 15 minutes before it would be ready. When I told the cashier that it was supposed to be ready at 1:30pm she replied, "Oh." No apology. No explanation. After waiting 20 minutes and not having a prescription ready I left the store. I don't have the patience to put up with poor customer service and even worse communication. I am extremely disappointed with this CVS Pharmacy. read more

The store was well stocked and maintained. The only drawback is the parking. there's not much room and it's located on a very busy and crowded intersection. traffic lights don't hold long. If you need anything the staff are very friendly. read more

When I presented my prescription the Pharmacy clerk was very unfriendly and gave me the"what the Hell do you want" blank look. Apparently doing her job was a major effort and she seemed annoyed about it. Someone like this, with zero people skills should not be in the customer service business.
