This CVS pharmacy department service very bad, bad service attitude no patient and no professional response to customer.

I came here to get medicine at the pharmacy. It was quite a wait considering there was one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician (I think that's what you call them) who were assisting people. When they did get to me, they were quick to grab the prescription and let me pay. I even requested to have an explanation of the medicine like when to take it, with/without food, side effects, etc. They were very friendly and apologetic of the wait. I appreciate customer service like this. I rarely use this CVS location because I feel like my go to location is the CVS over on Baldwin and Naiomi, but I would definitely switch to this location. read more

First off, let me tell you a little bit about my history with this location. I've been a loyal customer of this location for about a year, shopping here very frequently with my friends and family. We shop here like it's Walmart, sometimes $50-$100 each time. Employees have always been fairly nice, if I can remember correctly. Today, however, it was a different story. Walked in and walked back and forth down the aisles because I didn't know where the stuff I wanted was. I had a list of exactly what I wanted, but I was obviously lost. I passed the same employee who was kneeling on the floor restocking the shelves several times, but never once did she ask me if I needed help. What she did do was look my way each and every time with a look of suspicion. I thought nothing of it. Actually, I wasn't even sure if she was a worker. She was not dressed professionally. After a little struggle, I managed to get everything and paid for it all. Afterwards, I wanted to return something and buy something else. When I was on the way to the counter, the same employee who dogged me was at the counter and had just finished helping another customer, but when she saw me, she left the counter right away. Still, I thought nothing of it. I went to go talk to my friend because I wanted to see if she was ready to go and she was just about ready to pay for her goods (about $40 worth of product), when the female employee (yes, the same one) walked up to us in a haste and told us to get out. Actually she never once looked at me. She only pointed to my CVS bags, as if that was where my face was, and said, "And you with your bags, you get out too." She also said: - We were taking too long to shop - She had the right to kick us out - She had already called the cops - She didn't like that we kept taking things off the shelves - We were being "shady" But hold up, hold up. - We were in there for an hour at the most, but that's pretty damn average. - True she had the right, but I could care less. She had the right, as an employee of CVS, to threaten and disrespect me too? Where are my rights? - As a consumer, don't I have the right to at least TOUCH a product before I give YOU my money or are you going to stand there and tell me that a law-abiding customer walks though a store and never touches a single item? And another thing, every single item we picked up, we put back where it belonged. Yeah, I did your job for you. You're welcome. - Shady on what basis? I think because we were Asian, she assumed that we were ghetto and tried to talk to us in our "language." I paid for over $20 worth of stuff, but she had the nerve to imply that I was going to steal stuff. That's funny. We were the only Asians in the store and she watched me from the second she became aware of me and within an hour, she kicked us out. She gave no clear, strong reason. C'mon. "Shady"? This is not even in my vocabulary. Talk to me like the professional adult that I am. I think it is pretty clear that this lady was racist and her disgust prompted her to kick us out. Ma'am, you have the right to kick us out for no good reason and to be an ugly human being sure, but you don't have the right to excercise that ugliness and your racism on us at your place of business. I am permanently boycotting this location and will happily take my money elsewhere. Fellow CVS shoppers, I invite you to join me. read more

Compared to the Baldwin & Naomi store: CONS - much smaller - limited hours (not 24 hours) PROS + faster pharmacy This is the closest CVS to my parent's house, so I only come here when it's on the way. Otherwise, I prefer the one on Baldwin & Naomi. Because this one doesn't get as much foot traffic, the pharmacy is much, much faster than any other CVS I've been to. I'm usually in-and-out of there within 10-minutes, versus at least 20-minutes at the other. That makes me a happy camper and for that, they get an extra star. read more

I don't normally review chain businesses, much less CVS pharmacies, mainly because for the most part, my experiences with chains are generally pretty standard. However. I've lived near this CVS for a year and have frequented it multiple times, and every time I'm always greeted cheerily by the people who work there. They're so genuinely friendly and upbeat (upbeat, at CVS) and they've always been very ready to help me find what I'm looking for. It's always clean. Their pharmacy people are quick and efficient, and also spend time legitimately caring for their customers (one time I was in line behind an elderly man and the pharmacist spent a good deal of time explaining and making sure the elderly man understood the instructions of his medication). There's plenty of parking, plus a Drive-Thru pharmacy. It's easily accessible on the street corner; I've even biked there and they (with a smile) let me leave my bike inside by the door because I forgot my bike lock. I think this CVS receives an unfairly bad rap with the past reviews and want to praise this place with lots of praise because every time I've been here, I've always had a great experience, and I always leave grateful for this particular CVS. read more

Love this cvs! Now it's more poppin because of the new restaurants and drink spots right next to it! I always come here for necessities and I really love how you can now order your photos to be printed ONLINE. I used to wait here for them to print but now we can pick up whenever :) so convenient! Service is always amazing here, employees are so approachable and they're always smiling! read more

CVS- Love the Conveniency, not so much the prices. I love how every CVS has the Chase atm machine which allows me quick access to withdraw money any time of day and especially night. I usually come here for quick snacks on my way to the hiking trail. Besides the convenience of being located at almost every corner, I would go to Walmart or Costco for cheaper prices on various merchandises and prescription medicine. TIP: Make a CVS card to save money on various items throughout the store. read more

I give this CVS a Fiver ! First of all, all CVS's do a great job managing your prescriptions. Their auto renew and IVR system are flawless. For example: my PCP sent my script to the wrong CVS (my bad - not his). I caught it and he sent to the correct CVS. While still at the doc, I get a call from this pharmacist that noticed the discrepancy and verified which location I was intending. All that aside, this type of script management is an expectation these days and don't warrant a Fiver. This location in particular has a great customer-centric staff. They are attentive, polite and engaging all while expediting service. In summary....great script management, great IVR, great service....BAM - home run! read more

This CVS is probably the best CVS I've been to! I do not even live in the same city anymore yet I still chose to have my prescriptions stay here. There is even a CVS walking distance to my new residence and I do not even bother walking in there. Everyone that works here is nice, I always get greeted when I walk in and greeted at the pharmacy. The line can be long sometimes but they always apologize for it. read more

Always have a good experience here, the pharmacist are very nice and the cashiers are always helpful. The store is always clean and hardly ever busy. Huge parking lot but I hate the right turn only sign from the exit off of El Monte avenue so stupid. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Spare change - Drugstores Near Me - Arcadia, California

go to this CVS as only one close to my home. give them a goodrx discount slip price $29.86 so expect to pay that price. go to pickup ear drops but price has changed. they now want $99.xx for it. told guy that's retail price and i gave him the goodrx slip to keep (went into trash. so he get head pharmacist and they lower it to $39.79 so stuck with having to pay that price. get home and call goodrx and they state price is $29.86 and woman "states they do not have to honor the goodrx price" so this CVS will take advantage of customers when they can. i will now see if i can find another pharmacy that will support goodrx and support that store as 188 Las tunas drive Arcadia is "not on customers side" buy somewhere else. USE THIS STORE ONLY IF LAST PLACE THAT WILL HONOR PROGRAMS LIKE GOODRX. Pretty ghetto CVS in the less desirable area of Arcadia. The store stock is sloppy and often out of stock. Clearly not the shining corporate store example. Good thing is pharmacy wait is less than most due to foot volume and they have drive through. read more

Used the drive-thru pharmacy and was told that it would take 30 minutes to get my prescription ready, but 15 minutes if I come inside the store. Huh?!? This not the first time this happened to me at this location. read more

Last year anthem blue cross changed from Walgreens to CVS and it has been on ongoing experience in new levels of bad customer service. Millions of customers got forced into this shift. It completely overloaded Cvs but no doubt they gave a great deal to Anthem at the expense of all the subscribers. read more

I ordered my Christmas cards and it said that my cards were ready for pick up on the app. I came to the store to pick them up and of course they didn't have them. I waited 4 days to pick them up. I had my purchase number, the lady looked it up and couldn't find it. She kept questioning me if I was certain it was that store. I showed her my phone with all the info and nothing. I get that there could have been an error, but it happened last Christmas too. I don't know why I went there again this year. She told me to resend the order but my discount promotion doesn't apply anymore so I have to pay full price. Insane. Then she started ringing up for my purchases and asked if I needed a bag, i hesitated but then said no thanks and she literally had already scanned the 10 cent bag and said,"oh I already scanned. Just keep" at this point I was so bothered and just wanted to leave this CVS and looked at her and just paid and left. So disappointed with this CVS. read more

I probably have been getting my medications from this drug store for about the last 15 years. I have never had a bad experience. Matthew and his team do a great job. On several occasions they have gone the extra mile for me. Matthew and Jason are so professional. CVS is lucky to have them both. But there is one person that stands out. Her name is Diana. If you ever need that personalized help. Ask for her. I can not tell you how many times she has helped me with Ins. questions on my medications. And getting back to me very quickly. Always resolving what ever it was I needed. I highly recommend this Pharmacy to anyone. read more

I was very disappointed with the way I was treated today at CVS. One of the workers, Margaret, after she had scanned all of my items, said to me, "do you need anything else, after you have wiped out our store?" And then she chuckled. I wonder what was so funny. The fact that I got four bags of items for my sons birthday party? Was this funny? Along with a small 12 pack of water? Was this too much for her to scan? Was I bothering her somehow and actually making her be involved with her job? I will never understand people and their lack of customer service. By the way, Margaret, when you're bagging someone's items, you don't have to stuff every item you can into a bag, they're only $.10 each, the purpose of the bag is to be able to actually hold it comfortably....the way you pack bags leaves no room for the customer to actually grab the handle. I'm very disappointed with my visit today. Next time if you don't want customers to actually buy items, please put a sign on the door indicating that there is a limit of 10 items or something like that. Very sorry if I bothered you with my $120 purchase. read more

This CVS pharmacy is really tops! I had an experience going to the other CVS on Las Tunas and Baldwin Ave a year ago or so- and was looking for a cold medicine - I spoke with 2 people there, and was told that whatever they have should be on the shelves - and I should just go look for it. Frustrated, I ended up just leaving -I then went to this CVS since it was close by- the lady cashier was so helpful - she even helped me send a coupon I have on my phone to my CVS card so I could use it that night. I decided to send this review now, because I saw this same cashier last night and she was cheerfully greeting people as they enter and exit the door even while helping customers at the register. Friendly staff. Disappointed with wait time. They tell me 15 minutes so I go browse around make up area, 5 minutes later they call my name, my meds ready for pick up. I thought I have 15 minutes to do my window shopping, now I don't have an excuse. Ample parking. read more

Im a long time customer now. I've always received great customer service, until today.The employee at the counter (female, 5'5-5'8, 45-55 yrs, blonde short boy hair cut, and wears greens pencil eyeliner) asked for my email so I could save $3 on a product I was buying in the future.I asked her how?she said well I just need ur email. I was sort of interested but she decided not to explainable process and said "well its a simple yes or no answer, so ok then nevermind". She had a very condescending undertone.
