They are a little busy in the winter, but I'm sure it's because of the wonderful snowbird.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been trying to get a prescription for my mom for about 7…read moredays. Finally on the day they are supposed to have the medication in stock, and she's received a message that the prescription is ready to be picked up. We go thru the drive-thru, it's about 3:00pm, waiting in line for 20 to 30 minutes just to get to the window where they told us that we don't have the prescription ready to but if you come back, it will be ready for you at 6:15pm. I said I will be back by 6:30pm. I am again waiting in the drive thru at about 6:20pm, waiting again for 20 to 30 minutes just to get to the window and they tell us, you have to come inside the store and be sitting in one of the chairs before we can even fill this prescription for you. Why? It's not a controlled substance or anything, Nope, it's just their policy. Why didn't someone tell me this when I tried to pick it up earlier in the day? I am super frustrated by this point, I go into the store, and of course there are about 4 people in line. Finally, after not helping 2 of the customers in front of me, (I will explain that in a moment), they tell me they don't have it in stock and they can only give me 5 days worth, Or I can wait until the 13th when they should receive it. I asked how much the copay would be for the 5 days or can I wait to pay for the whole thing on the 13th but still take the 5 days supply now, All of sudden they had enough to fill 30 days. To get this prescription filled cost me almost 2 hours of time today. Back to the 2 customers in front of me. I overheard the one lady tell the customer that because February only has 28 days in that why her prescription is short 2 days until she is able to get it refilled. Huh? What about the months that have 31 days in them, they don't give you 31 days of medication. The other customer was sent over by another Walgreens because they didn't have what she needed in stock, this is about 7:00pm, they told her she needs to contact her Doctor's office and have them discontinue the Prescription at the first Walgreens and have them send a new prescription to this Walgreens. I have never seen such a poorly run Pharmacy. I am looking to switch all of my Mom's medications to another pharmacy not Walgreens related.

This pharmacy is lucky they are so close to my house, but I am losing patience. The pharmacy is not…read moregreat. I can't even tell you how many times they have not had my prescription and blamed it on my doctor. My doctor and his office are super reliable, it has never been their fault. More than once I have made appointments when CVS has told me a refill has been "physician denied" and when I get to my appointment the doctor has record of approving the refill to this particular pharmacy. Now I just call my doc to confirm. Another thing is that when my daughter or I pick up her birth control prescription, the pharmacy worker loudly says, "The BIRTH CONTROL?" That is extremely rude. It is more than one pharmacist. They don't know if my daughter is using that to control births, or maybe regulate her cycle, or if she has endometriosis. I feel like they shout it to express disapproval, and that is a violation of privacy. The store part, on the other hand, is really good. The cashiers are friendly and helpful, and the store always looks tidy. They could use more training in the passport photo area, because we were rejected for the photo from this location. Lots of good cosmetics deals. Just be wary of the pharmacy. Too bad the original pharm manager, Matt, is gone. It was a great place until they replaced him.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD TAKE ANY STIMULANT MEDICATION for learning…read moredisabilities, attention disorders, etc. Never have I felt so put down by a pharmacist (small frame and build- guy with black hair). LOOK. If my doctor sent a prescription, then OBVIOUSLY it is authorized. He tried to give me some sorry about not being able to fill it because I did not have any 'history' established there, and that I picked up a different stimulant medication 21 days ago. Though I just had a conversation with MY DOCTOR that by law, ANY change in dosage or medication, they are REQUIRED to fill the medication. No if and or buts about it. I said I had just moved from California but I've been using CVS so I told him he is more than happy to look at that 'history'. And he replied: "nothing about being happy to do so. This is what has to happen." never did he say "this is our policy" which I would have at least been a bit more open eared. Though I have never had issues like this and I have been taking stimulant medication for 5+ years at varying dosages and medication types. Honestly, pharmacists need to know their place. They are NOT DOCTORS. So ridiculous.
