This CVS is decent sized and a nice supplement for personal care items you might not find at Magruders next door. The store is kept fairly well stocked and organized. And the few times I couldn't find something, the staff was helpful in assisting me. I stopped using this pharmacy a few years ago however after they messed up my 3rd Rx in a row. I just don't need the headache. Friends have scripts filled here with no issue so apparently I must have that mystical cloud hanging over me. read more

I just left this store, and I have to state that Shift Supervisor- Pinky- should NOT be in an supervisory role. Her condescending tone and attitude in her approach made it obvious that she DID NOT want to assist the cashier nor me! The customers ARE the job! This cvs photo department lost photos that were important to me that I had taken on a trip. We dropped off 2 digital cameras and both were lost. Eventually got the photos for one camera but the others were never retrieved. We called and spoke to a manager who said they would help but they ended up never calling back. The person at the photo department shrugged off the fact that "cvs loses photo orders all the time". After calling over 4 times and showing up 3 times to check if the photos arrived to no luck, we sadly gave up. Do not use the photo department here if you'd like to ever see your photos! read more

Every time I need to pick up a medicine from this CVS I encountered trouble. The pharmacist either says we did not receive the fax from your provider or the fax takes two days to arrive. I will definitely change away from this pharmacy. read more

This CVS pharmacy is getting ridiculous!. They don't fill prescriptions when the doctor calls them in so you have to wait in line just to be told it was not called in or you have to wait 20+ minutes to for them to get filled. This has never been an issue even during Covid. I suggest finding a different pharmacy if you want better service. read more

The absolute worst pharmacy I've ever encountered. NO ONE answers the phone there. A fax was automated from them to us and to get clarification/instructions per fax to call is a JOKE! I needed a medicine for a major procedure on a FRI, I went on TUE to pick it up, was told that it was not ready but that it will be there on WED by 2PM, I even received a text confirmation. I checked on the link, status confirmed that it would be ready by 6PM, I called to ask if I could pick it up a bit earlier because I could only get a ride until 4PM, was told that the medicine did not arrive. I asked why was I not told sooner, he offered no explanation or apology. I asked if i could get it at another CVS, he told me that no CVS in the NOVA area had it and proceeded to hang up on me. I was not rude to him at all, never raised my voice or said anything that would call for such poor customer service. My doctor's office had to go to the trouble of finding the medication for me somewhere else. I would avoid this pharmacy at all cost. read more

I went in to get my first vaccine with no appointment (as the website said they take walk-ins) but the pharmacy staff refused because they were "to busy" even though no one was in the store. So I went online to make an appointment but of course the website didn't work. And long story short, I tried for 30 minutes to book an appointment only for them to finally tell me "they have no availability and promptly told us off. Never going there ever again. read more

This store regularly violates HIPPA they ask me from 10 feet away to speak and spell my name and birthday (8 times in 45 mins!!!) then yell the name of which medication I'm picking up to the 15+ people waiting in a 5-8 foot TINY area. The medication is never ready when it's supposed to be you find this out AFTER waiting 35 minutes STANDING IN LINE, they tell you to wait 45-1 hour for it then it's still not ready. The lines are always horrible. This pharmacy is run very poorly and without any management. I feel like their corporate office should know how bad this place is run. Find another pharmacy there are plenty out there. read more

Find another pharmacy to go to sure this is close to the doctors building but waiting two hours for medication just isn't worth it. Medication isn't done when promised and the wait way too long. Just to ask about your meds is a 20-30 min wait with one person at the register they call for back up and no ones shows. Seeing as I no longer smoke since quitting, should say that if CVS does not sell tobacco products any longer bad I can't comment upon cigarette prices at CVS stores. Overall I haven't been here in quite some time. But the retail side of the store is extremely friendly and help when you need to find something. It's not a gigantic CVS store but adequately supplied. I don't use Pharmacy services at this store, therefore I just don't think it's appropriate for me to comment on that either as far as therapies used that require prescription drugs, however I recall in cold season when I had a bad case of congestion and my head felt pretty awful, they were very helpful and getting an appropriate behind the counter medicine, as far as the pharmacy. As we know CVS has decided to discontinue the sale of tobacco products as a retail chain drug store. Therefore I felt there was a need to update here. read more

I used to go to this pharmacy a lot and the Ethiopian pharmacist was always extremely helpful, efficient and even remembered me by name a while after I stopped going. This is located right behind my apartment building, so it's extremely convenient. Even though it's in the same strip as a much cheaper Aldi grocery store, i opt to come here because the cashiers at Aldi are rude, but the staff here at CVS are exceptionally wonderful. So many of the reps at the registers go out of their way to be friendly & make the experience of shopping here a pleasure. Very polite & helpful. I'm always greeted with a smile & "good to see you again" & get asked how I am, etc & leave smiling. read more
