I am not joking when I say that I called nearly a dozen different pool and spa companies to repair…read moremy leaking hot tub. Pacific Pool & Spa was the only company who was actually able to come out and repair my spa. Many companies simply do not repair tubs and only open or winterize at the beginning/end of the season. Other places would only repair a tub that they specifically sold you. Some would not come because I didn't know the brand of my tub (it's an older spa and it came with my home). I was so happy when Pacific Pool & Spa said they would be able to help me. My hot tub was leaking badly (imagine a 400/500 gallon tub leaking out in about 45 minutes). I was worried how extensive the damage was and how much the repairs would be. I sent some photos of the spa to Julie and Roy and they assured me that not only would they get the job done, but also that most likely the issue was not a major problem. Because of their busy schedule, I had to wait ~6-8 weeks before their team was able to come to my home, but it was totally worth it. Once the men arrived it only took them about an hour to find the problem (a seriously cracked elbow joint) and then another hour to repair the issue and put the panels back on the tub. A few hundred dollars later and my tub is good as new and ready for the summer! Big thanks to Julie and Roy for helping me out. I hope we won't have any more issues in the future, but if we do I will know where to turn!

Before finding Fabio, I had worked with two other pool companies that were either unable to identify the source of the leak, recommended services which were not needed, or were simply unprofessional throughout the process. It was frustrating, so it was a huge relief to finally find someone who knew exactly what he was doing. Fabio identified the problem, explained the repair in detail, and answered every question I had along the way - and I had a lot. He arrived on time and got right to work. The repair was extensive, as shown from the photos, as it involved excavating the concrete around the pool to replace the old skimmer with a brand-new one, as well as digging a trench all the way to the pool equipment to replace the old plumbing with new rigid lines. Throughout the entire project, his workmanship was outstanding. Fabio was patient, honest, personable, and never made me feel rushed despite the many questions I had. He also shared several great recommendations for future pool maintenance, which I really appreciated. Once the repair was complete, he also took the time to thoroughly vacuum and clean the pool so it was ready to be used. I appreciated that extra level of care. His pricing was very fair, especially considering the amount of labor involved and the quality of the finished result. After my experience with other companies, I can say Fabio is the real deal. I'm already looking forward to having him back for some additional upgrades I have planned for my pool and would recommend Fabio and Poolminator. An easy five stars!
