What a waste of money. it cost us $600 to just open the pool. What this Jackass did was just take the cover off, plug the filter in and left my yard with a swamp. We then had to still purchase the chemicals .....do not do business with this Jerk. We hired another pool company that did the job for less than $200 and we now have a crystal clear pool. read more

I'm surprised there are no other reviews. I've been using Tony at Different Strokes since we are here, I'm also surprised I never did a review....I'm a baaaaaaaad Yelper. Tony and his crew are professional, on time and knowledgeable. Not only do they open and close my pool, but we had a serious problem that involved the structure under the liner. Tony figured out how to resolve the problem in the most effective way. Not inexpensive, but totally resolved the problem. He had to dig out the vermiculite, place reinforced steel and pour concrete and then reline the pool. What a great job! read more

They operate like a real true mom and pop shop. They conduct themselves in a very well mannered way. They are always extremely helpful and are very knowledgeable for each and every issue you come forth to them. As far as there pool supplies from Pool toys to the tiniest most important pump/filter part they usually have it right in the back in stock and if not them will make sure they have it for you as quick as they can get it to them. The store inside seams and looks to be well organized following some sort of organization/stocking system they have routed into their daily operation. Thank you guys....and gals for the professionalism and great attitudes towards myself and also how I noticed with any customer who had been in there looking for help at the time I was. Fantastic place to go for any pool/spa products/parts/questions and advice. They are not like some other places that started off like them but then grew big and totally fell off from customer service.(The employees that are the same at those places still are very good very smart and very nice. I was given Tony's phone number by a friend when I thought I needed a new liner for my above the ground pool. Tony arrived as scheduled to look at the pool and told me he wouldn't recommend a new liner as the pool was rusted and could be unsafe. i appreciated his honesty and after receiving an estimate from him i decided to replace the pool with a new above the ground pool. Tony called me to set up the work date and his crew arrived exactly as stated and the job took the amount of days I was quoted. The guys kept me informed of the progress of the work, they cleaned up all the boxes etc. from my yard and did a great job on the installation! I have been doing business with Different Strokes for more than 12 years. Tony and his crew are both friendly & professional. The pool opening & closing are performed with the utmost respect for my pool and property, done both carefully and neatly. Different Strokes came to the rescue as the pool company I was using at the time was called on to find a leak somewhere in the filter pipes located underground or under the cement pool deck. After 6 calls they sent 2 inexperienced young workers with a very large sledge hammer to start breaking up my concrete deck to look for the leak. I stopped them and proceeded to look for a pool company with expertise in this kind of problem. I found Different Stokes and they sent 2 techs who first pressurized the system and located the leak. They carefully dug up and repaired the leaking pipe in a flower bed with minimal disruption. They then re-pressurized the system finding a second leak under the concrete deck. Rather than break up a large expanse of concrete deck they found an alternate route for the pipe with 95% of the run outside the pool area and easily dug underground. The small piece that required to be run under the concrete was done neatly & efficiently with a concrete saw (not a sledge hammer) leaving s simple and neat deck repair job. I would highly recommend them for your pool maintenance and especially for diagnosing and repairing problems. read more
