A few hiccups along the way (blasting music at 3am from their truck parked in my driveway, I stepped on on of their roofing nails (ouch!), and this oddity in the upper rain gutter where it unnecessarily slants making it look horrible. I realize gutters need to slope to drain water, but this one is extreme and looks stupid). Would I recommend these guys? Maybe. Update: Clear Vision finally sent a crew out to fix the small section of rain gutter with the unusual slant. So kudos to them for following up albeit weeks later. (BTW, I also asked for a bid to paint my house : they provided a dollar quote but didn't send anyone to talk to me about what I needs or what service they would provide. To say the least, they didn't paint my house.)

I am a person who takes my time gathering information and educating myself before making any huge…read moredecisions because, as a widow, I find I have more time than money and I need to know that I am making the right decision. Over the last few years, I have known I needed to get a new roof, yet the funds weren't there. I had several roofing companies come out to my home for bids over a span of 4 years. 0ne company only did a satellite inspection of my roof, others came and inspected my attic, yet never went onto my roof, and 3 performed a full in person inspection in my attic and on my roof. I ended up choosing Roof and Nails for many reasons. David was my sales representative and first contact with this company, and he was very thorough in his inspection and in helping me understand all the steps this company would take in providing a great quality roof. Other companies also thoroughly explained the process, yet I feel Roof & Nails provides great quality, more protection, at an affordable rate. Through this entire process and before getting my new roof , I have watched how neighbors on both sides and across the street have received new roofs, yet they weren't given the superior quality I ended up getting and they paid the same or more for a 20 yr roof than my now 50 year roof. The material was dropped off on a Thursday and work started a few days later. At this point, Johnathan was my contact person for this project. Communication was great and he took care of everything. Johnathan has a professional crew who are great, hardworking and respectful. They also cleaned up very well afterwards. I have documented pictures of each step in putting together my roof. They even permanently added four OSHA compliant safety lifeline anchors for any future roof-related workers to use. None of my neighbors received these anchors with their new roofs. Last, yet not least, I feel I have come to know David and Johnathan better as individuals. They are good, honest, and down-to-earth family guys. I can't say that of all the companies I interacted with. This is something I considered when choosing a company. How are they as people, how do they treat their employees? This fact may not be important to others, yet It's important to me. I am confident I made the best choice in hiring Roof & Nail Company to take care of my roofing needs. They gave me a superior quality roof at a fair, not overinflated, price. This comes just in time for the rainy season. I'm ready!! There's a weight off my shoulders. I would have rated them 10+ stars if I could. This review is my heartfelt thanks to each and every person who took part in this job. Thank you!!!

The price was about right, they came out quickly and finished the job in about 4 days. The PM said everything was cleaned and the crew left. After the 2nd pass by the crew, I took my magnet bar again and found another 20+ nails. I called the PM again, they sent someone again and I thought it was done. 3 months later I just stepped on a half inch roofing nail, and had to get a tetanus shot because of the laziness / low quality clean up.

Pricing of the project was very reasonable; I think it was the second-lowest quote we got, but Sawtooth's materials and warranty were better. Jose and his crew did a great job. During the job, every day's end-of-day cleanup was great. The end result looks beautiful, and we're very happy with the way everything went. The high end materials and awesome warranty also add to the satisfaction of a job well done. One hiccup: 2 fascia boards with some minor dry-rot at their ends were supposed to be replaced before the installation of new gutters (new gutters were part of the project). Somehow that fell through the cracks, and the gutters went up over the 2 boards. Darrin quickly took ownership of the issue, and did a great job of repairing/rebuilding the corner where the problem was. Very satisfied with the response to the issue! Suggestion to Sawtooth: if new gutters are in the project, they need to be included in the project scope all the way to the end. That includes final inspection and invoicing. The QA inspection by Nick should have been done AFTER the gutters were installed, not before. The inspection should include both the roof and the gutters, not just the roof. The final invoice should be emailed AFTER the gutters are installed, and all issues are settled.

Leaks observed in the following winter season after install that were never repaired or resolved. Even though it was under warranty in the contract. We also had issues with their exterior painting subcontractor who was very hostile towards our concerns of painting in the winter (cold temps and rain- we wanted to wait until spring. We insisted which drove him into a fit). The bigger issue was with the roof leak however and after contacting the Viktor the owner he offered to pay for the repairs (We had to hire another roofing company to come and fix, and also hire a mold mitigation company to remove mold). He never paid after over many months of notice. These problems are often resolved in legal mitigation with a contractors bonding company, however we discovered he had been recently sued by someone else for over $16k which drained their bond. Thankfully the other roofing company did a solid job of fixing the leak issues and mold mitigation company also did a perfect job removing mold so there is happy ending to the roof. However, do your homework on Washington labor and industries website https://secure.lni.wa.gov/ before hiring this company, or for any contractor for that matter. As of now their license is suspended, but yet they still advertise. Be careful out there!

I hired Viktor with Provision Remodeling to hang new cement board siding on my home and remove the…read moredrywall infested LP siding which was failing and original to our home. We went through him for exterior paint as well, which he insisted on using Sherwin Williams for, as they are considered the best quality. In the process of having our home looked over to see what projects we could afford to do, we had an unpleasant surprise in finding out the previous home owners...who replaced the roof themselves...laid the roof shingles incorrectly and therefore we had swelling and imminent failure. I received quotes from four exterior siding companies, as well as six roofing companies. I could have gone with two separate companies but Viktor won my business for two reasons. He was competitive with the siding and roofing companies I was seriously considering and he was very communicative. He answered so many questions. We have never had major home repairs done. We both had family and friends pepper us with horror stories of companies giving them a reasonable price and then tacking on thousands in charges at the end. I probably drove him a little nutty with all my concerns before we agreed to sign the contract. Then, after we signed, we added on work we hadn't realized needed to be done as well. For one, I thought the rubber trim wood around garage doors was part of the siding. It is not. Ours was in need of replacement. Our exterior outlets were outdated and out of code, as they were original to the house...twenty-five years ago. We asked for our bathroom exhaust fans to be replaced, which were accessed via the attic and that led to finding out our master bath vent was never even hooked up...just a fan box buried in insulation. That answered why we kept having motors burn out every two to three years. There was trim replacement which was unplanned for as well. There were a couple of delays, but Viktor was always responsive and reassuring when those happened and the work was not only done but done so well I've had multiple people, in the neighborhood, comment on the quality of the final job. His employees are friendly and patient with my curious George mind...asking about every little thing, as I just never stop asking how things work. He even went above and beyond. I ordered a new sliding patio door from a door company he works with all the time and when they were not communicative, Viktor followed up with them to find out what was going on. The additional charges for the work added after contract signing was very reasonable. I am fully confident in my recommendation of Viktor and his team. They are perfectionists, professional, patient, communicative, and friendly. I am very happy I chose to give Provision Remodeling my business and would do so again.
