There are Daiso products in Mesa! Whatttttt? Today was the day this shop opened up and I just happened to be at the shopping center!! So yes, I definitely had to stop in! They were still putting merchandise out so some shelves still looked a bit empty. I loved going to Daiso when I lived back in Korea. There were days I could spend hours looking around. It was definitely the same case here. Ahhh it brought back so many memories. They have snacks, small trinkets, cold drinks, dog items, office supplies, cute souvenirs, and all mostly for a $1.50!!!!! (Some items I overheard the employee say were priced differently) My favorite is always the beauty section, as I tend to find interesting beauty items that actually work. They also sell beauty items that you will not find elsewhere and are good! The employees were nice and everything was organized. I can't wait to come back once it's more stocked. I'm excited to see what other goodies they will have out. Oh and I will definitely have to come back soon for that cute panda cutting board! read more

Affordable stuff and very cute items! Not a lot of stuff to choose from but I love their snacks, food, ice cream & some facial/hair tie items as well. When you need your Daiso fix, Cutie is the answer! A nice selection of $1.50 Daiso items without going to Daiso (in California). There's a nice selection of cute Asian dishes, stationery, snacks, beauty items, etc...maybe things you didn't know you needed for $1.50. Much better than a regular Dollar store. The Mesa location is open in the afternoon, they have another location in North Phoenix. Mesa is much larger than the one on Cave Creek. Mesa location is not too far from the Asian District in Mesa. Okay- so I'm from California and I gatta say Daiso is something I'm addicted to. If you don't know what Daiso is, Google it real quick! I'm a weirdo and just watch people's Hauls or have my sister FaceTime me when she's there. I then found Cutie. They don't have all the stuff and variety you'd find at Daiso, they don't have these cute bread sponges I stock up on back home in Cali or a lot of make up, but honestly it's still amazing. I'm going to be dumping so much cash here somehow it's ridiculous -_- They have an aisle for Japanese snacks and drinks, pet stuff, car stuff, arts and crafts, hair accessories, socks and masks, baskets and containers, kitchen supplies, etc etc. it's amazing. read more

As a F.O.C (Fan of Cutie), I appreciate they have opened a second store in the East Valley. For those unfamiliar with Cutie, they offer a curated selection of Daiso products that they offer at at a set price of $1.50 per item plus some other Japanese frozen food products that typically are priced at $1. While other reviewers have commented on the increase in size compared to the original shop in North Phoenix (great staff), I think they are burying the lead, this store is 3-4x larger, in fact they even have room for rolling shopping carts. The Daiso products are both practical such as drain clearing tools, there are plenty of whimsical classical cute (kawaii) products. read more

I have lived down the street from this shop for over a year and just found it this week. I absolutely love it! I've been going to Asiana market and the new H Mart for ban-Chan bowls and other cooking dishes and gadgets. Cutie has those things for less than half the price!! I will be back soon! I'm not sure if the hours are limited due to COVID, or if they are always this way, but it made the store pretty packed. They are trying social distancing in the store, but some of the customers did not even attempt to follow the rules. Regardless of the current health crisis, this store is very cute and amazing for anyone who is a dollar store junkie and also enjoys a new variety of items! I can see myself coming here for something specific, or just popping in to browse. read more

Omg! I love love LOVE cutie. It's kind of a drive for me, but so worth it. From craft stamps for only a $1 to full block Pads and locked magnetic stuff! I mean they have do many goodies here. Outdoor stuff, hair accessories! Everything, you name it. Fun snacks and drinks to try to! I never go after 4pm and never on the weekends due to how packed it gets. Inventory is low recently sometimes because so many people have found out about the store, nothing wrong with that of course! Eveyone there is super sweet and helpful. It's a great place with such cute daiso product. Great variety of product and organized well. The short side is very small shop. There is VERY limited parking and we had to park a few lots over. They also check your ID if you are paying with card so be prepared for that. Seems a little old fashion in my opinion and sucked for people like me that just brought their card but left ID in the car that's parked is a different lot and wanted me to run out, but it was easier to have a friend pay. Also, no social distancing placed. The placard on door said they limit the people intake but just walking in the store was packed. They didn't even have carts since there were so many people. They have weird hours and close at two so try to show up early and keep that in mind! Great product but could not handle amount of the people it attracted. read more

Love this place! Super cheap Japanese connivence store. Very similar to Daiso. Everything is only $1.50! I've been to their first location which was in Cave Creek. I'm glad they expanded and built this second location in Mesa. This store is definitely bigger and carries more stuff. They everything from kitchen, bathroom, toys, makeup, and etc! The people who work here are so genuine and nice. I was able to buy a lot of things for only $12.50 total! The location is in an isolated plaza but not hard miss. If I ever move in my own place and need some kitchen stuff, I'll be sure to come here first! read more

the girl with black hair (don't even care to learn her name) has been so rude the past two times my family and I have visited. The first time I went to pay and asked if they had tap because I can literally see the machine lighting up to take Apple Pay. She rudely said no, loudly and I went to get my little brothers card to pay as I forgot mine and she demanded to see an id (very rudely) after I explain my brother doesn't have an id or I she refused to sell to us. We are from out of town so I had my mother send me a picture of my id and she still refused to take it even though my brother and I have the same last name and he misplaced his id. She eventually took it after causing a big fuss. I left my items in bags at the front because that's a rule they have and went to find my family who were still browsing and she followed me around maybe to see if I was stealing? anyways we left with $200 worth of items. We recently went back and she was there but did not interact with us. The other worker there at the time was so nice I wish I got her name but I was telling my boyfriend they don't take tap and take out your id and card and the nice cashier was so confused and said "we do take tap and we don't check ids" I was so baffled while the girl who was giving us this horrid treatment was literally standing right behind her eavesdropping. I am still so baffled by this treatment. It's literally a dollar store. After spending another $200 and overall spending around $1000 at that store I will not be coming back. Our first three visits or so were great but these last two were HORRENDOUS. I am really not the type to take my time to write negative reviews but i highly encourage y'all to find better international stores. Miniso has a better selection and I will be checking out the other cutie hopefully they are not as mean or discriminative. read more

Amazing selection of Japanese Daiso products! They have everything from office supplies, beauty products, keychains, and kitchen wares. Everything is $1.50 and extremely cute. If you like Japanese style items and "kawaii" accessories, Cutie is perfect. There is another Cutie located on Cave Creek rd and Greenway (?) in north Phoenix and this one has a much bigger selection and in general is a better store. It is larger and less cramped. If you visit, you might end up spending $40 despite the cheap prices on everything. ;) read more

Wonderful little discount/dollar shop filled with Disney goods, home goods, trinkets, pet accessories, and stationery, as well as authentic Asian snacks/foods/drinks! Plenty of cold drinks you can take to go and enjoy on your way home. Also available in the refrigerated section are fresh noodles and buns, and other yummy snacks! Employees were very helpful and friendly with questions I had about some of their drinks. They also have Clorox, sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes for sale! i'm really happy there's a daiso-stocked store in the valley!!!! i wish they had some more products like the pastel paper/stationary pads, and more of the little packs of plastic treat/giftbags, but overall there's a nice selection compared to daiso stores in california. they were playing japanese music too which is fun. no returns or exchanges but everything is only $1.50 so you aren't paying too much anyways. the register girls were really nice and friendly while checking out. read more
