Review: This review is long overdue. I've been getting my nails done here and not once have I had a unpleasant experience! The ladies are all very welcoming and sweet, and make sure I'm taken care of. I'm in and out in no time, they're fast yet on point!! Their prices are very affordable for the amazing services they provide . Jennifer and Jessica usually does my pedicure and gel and they do such an amazing job! I also am digging the new beach painting on the wall, it's perfect especially since the salon is located right by Encinitas beach! The salon is a lot quieter than usual, but I like it.. Nancy is the greatest. She always knows who I am and what I need when I call, and fits me in. If she's running a few minutes late (which I think has only happened once) she called to let me know so I didn't waste my time. It is the best deal in town, they do a great job and are friendly and accommodating. I've been referring friends to her for years and have had nothing but rave reviews. read more

Really good mani pedi! The massage was a good 15 minutes which is never the case and the massage chairs were updated and awesome! The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it's a little overpriced but not by much. $20 pedi and a $12 mani with a $1 charge of you want to use a credit card. I am completely satisfied with the service though and would go back next time I'm in town. read more

The salon is very well organized, and the decor has a very cute beachy theme. They now have sanitized clean new bags for each customer for the spa pedicure, which I really like. As someone who hardly ever has time to get her nails done, when I do I expect to really like my nails... While my pedicure was pure perfection my gel manicure was horrendous! Most of my nails were not painted on the sides, I had tons of extra gel all over my fingers AND two of my nails were jagged... My friends nails came out great but I think it was the talent/interest in my manicurist that resulted in disappointing nails.. With how many nails places are in the area I can't see myself going back to a place where I have to apply more polish and still file my nails when I get home :.( read more

This has to be one of the worst nail jobs I've ever had. To start, the woman sanded my nails down and put the sander straight on my skin! Ouch! The file job is all crooked and looks horrible, and the gel polish, she only put on one coat, and it's see through. I could have done this myself and it would not have cost $35 before tip. I think this place may have transferred ownership. I didn't recognize anyone there and they've made some changes to the interior. Among other things the quality of my gel manicure was super poor. My cuticles are really red and were bleeding on some nails and they had to do three heavy coats to get the polish even. At the very end the woman wasn't paying attention and put a matte top coat on so it completely changed the color. I didn't have time to stay and have her fix it, plus I don't think my nails could have taken it. I sadly would not recommend this place to friends anymore with the recent changes, including a price increase from $25 to $33, so not worth it. read more

If you want amazing service I would highly recommend coming here! Came here on a Friday afternoon and it was very busy! Although I didn't make an appointment the wait wasn't too bad , about 10 minutes most. I like how they have clean new bags for every spa pedicure service now! They're very sanitary and organized. I witness my nail tech sanitizing her tools before she serviced me which was a plus :) i had a spa pedicure from Caitlin and a spa manicure from Tina and eyebrows waxed with Jen. Seriously love the ladies in this salon! They all do a GREAT job and the price is fair. Cheaper than most salons in Encinitas/Del Mar area. They keep the salon clean, and sanitized, have a great selection of nail polishes to choose from and very attentive. Had a great nail experience with Jessica and Bonnie, they are very sweet and made sure I was taken care of. Everyone here is very nice and accommodating, a real luxury experience at an affordable price. They are open to nail art as well and I love my flowers on my toes. I love how clean the salon is and the great service they always provide. Right when I walked in this morning I was greeted by the owner Jenny. It wasn't too busy this morning and I didn't make an appointment so I only had to wait about 5 minutes because they seem short staffed. Anyways, they have a huge selection of nail polish especially OPI! I decided to go with nude pink for my manicure and pedicure. Tina did my manicure and Theresa did my pedicure this time , usually I have Bonnie and Jessica do my mani and pedi but they were off today and I didn't call. Tina and Theresa did a good job still, and they were very sweet and welcoming. This salon is cheaper than other salons I've been to and its worth it. I have been looking for a good nail salon, and I haven't found one until today. I usually go to my usual spot but the wait was so long and I didn't have time to waste so I looked on my phone for different nail salons in San Diego, and chose this one by luck. Thankfully I came across this one, from now on this is my go-to store. The store was clean +1 star, they all greeted right when I walked in +1 star, not that long wait time +1 star and I was helped by Jenny. While I was watching her do my nails, I noticed how much she paid attention to detail and did exactly what I wanted, or maybe even better +2. She was very nice and patient. The only thing I regret is not finding about her soon enough! I highly recommend Jenny, I already got a lot of compliments about my nails. Came here last week for eyebrow waxing and Jennifer helped me right away. Jennifer did a wonderful job at arching and cleaning them just the way I wanted, I love them! Had some time left to spare before going into work so I decided to get a quick pedicure. The sweet lady who did my pedicure (i forgot her name) did an amazing job! She massaged them, exfoliated and lotioned them with such ease. I really like the massage chairs and the ambience , very calm and relaxing. After going to Cutee Nails for many years I have had some problems with ingrown toe nails and last visit they acted like they they were unwilling to fix my toenail by trimming of the edge. The talking that nobody understand but them became uncomfortable. They did trim off my nail but I will not go back to them. read more

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would... I came here for the first time today to get my nails done, and I'm not sure who exactly did my nails as she didn't give me her name, but these are absolutely 100% the worst nails I have ever had in my entire life. Shape is not at all what I asked for, the nails are extremely lumpy and completely different shapes from one another, half of my nails don't have nail polish on them on the sides, there Is lumps of acrylic stuck under my nail and none of the shapes match each other. While she was doing my nails I kindly asked her if she could change the shape to the shape that I had originally asked for and make the tips thinner to be a coffin shape and she said no! I have never in my life experienced service like that or experienced nails with quality as bad as these ones are... I will never ever return here ever in my life and if I could stop anybody else from going to this place I would! not only that but they completely lied to me about the price on the phone when I called to make an appointment they said a new set of acrylics was $37 and at the end it miraculously ended up being $47 the price is not the problem it is the complete disregard for making sure that they accurately tell their potential customers the prices and things that they need to know about their nails before the appointment. you could not pay me any amount of money in the world to return to this place. and on a other note, The entire time during my appointment she was sitting and talking and laughing with her friend and looking through pictures on her friends phone and not at all actually paying attention to her job read more

Went in to get my acrylic nails taken off and to get a regular manicure. Bonnie was who greeted me and who did my nails. She insisted on ripping the fake nails off with the tool they use to remove cuticles, with out soaking or filing the nails down first. This of course was painful and ripping more of the natural nail off than necessary. I suggested soaking my nails with a cotton ball soaked with acetone, wrapping them in tin foil then filing them down after they had soaked for some time. She seemed annoyed at my in put and told me they wouldn't come off that way (but it's the only way other nails salons have taken off my acrylics). She only ended up wrapping one of my hands with the acetone and tin foil and presided to rip the nails off on the other hands. I was making it clear how uncomfortable this was making but, she didn't seem to care what so ever. As she started with the manicure after my acrylics were off she got a phone call and stayed on the phone the entire time. The whole job was careless and I was cut several times in the process. I will not be returning to this place and do not recommend it to anyone. read more

This nail salon is clean, affordable and they do a great job! They take their time and do not rush so you end up with great nails! Their gel polish is done correctly so it stays on for a LONG time and doesn't start peeling up like others. As for nail design, they can pretty much do it all. I went to this salon a few weeks ago. When I got there, I told them that I had dip polish on and that to get it off you need to soak it just like gel polish. Regardless, they continued to just rip the polish off, which ripped off layers of my nails with it. They gave me a horrible gel manicure as well. Now my nails keep breaking because they are so thin. All the nail technicians were very friendly, however my gel manicure didn't even last a week! The gel manicures at my regular nail salon last up to three weeks. Do not waste your money if you're looking for a high, quality manicure. This certainly is not the place. If you want cheap, that will last a few days, come here. read more
