    DSB is terrible. The owner attempted to provide me with HVAC equipment of lower quality than what…read morewas purchased. They have been very difficult to get a hold of over the phone, and have been late and missed scheduled appointments. They have been disorganized and inefficient in the installation. It took them many, many months to get the work completed. To their credit, the actual quality of the installation seems ok, and the building inspector gave the installation a passing grade once it was complete; however, there are many other HVAC contractors in the area, and I would definitely go with one of them if I got a re-do. If you do go with DSB, do not pay more than half of the price until the equipment is fully installed and operational. If I need any warranty work done in the future, I will request that the furnace vendor find me a different contractor, as the experience of working "with" DSB was completely unacceptable.

    Our water heater was nearing the end of its life so we began the task of collecting quotes. We…read morealways try to give our money to hard working local businesses when possible, so thought we'd see what B&B had to offer. My husband stopped by their office one afternoon on his way home from work. The receptionist told him that the owner is the one who does the quotes and he's only there in the mornings but said she'd give him our info. and have him call us. That was about a month ago, not a peep. Anyone who has ever had a water heater installed knows that the majority of plumbers charge a flat fee for their labor charge rather than their normal hourly rate, and it's a ridiculously excessive amount for a just a couple hours work, around $1000-1200 on all of the quotes we were given. So after the company pays their technician for the two hours of work, the rest of that $1000-1200 is pure profit in the company's pocket. Apparently B&B has so much work that they can afford to turn down a fast & easy $1000 profit. Good for them, I guess, but maybe then it's time to remove the "aw shucks" story about their humble beginnings, the company's growth and how committed they are still to this day, despite their huge success, to providing potential clients a "superior level of skill, craftsmanship, technical ability and communication". Clearly, that statement is no longer accurate if they don't even have the professionalism or common courtesy to give a quick call just to say that they appreciate the inquiry but are currently so busy they can't help us out at this time. First impressions are critical and because of this experience we will never consider them again for anything. Good old Godwin Plumbing took care of us and in only four days' time from first point of contact to completion of the job.

From start to finish the process was wonderful…read more Todd came out within hours of calling to get a quote to upgrade our furnace and add AC to our home. Our furnace was over 20 years old functioning but a bit of a head scratcher. Additionally we needed to upgrade our electrical panel. Grapids was able to subcontract that for us too. Tyler and Eric came out the very next day (bright and early) and spent the day reconstruction our HVAC system. Prior to their arrival we decided to add a humidifier to the unit. The office was seemlessly able to add that to our work order. Todd swang back out to check in on the progress and make sure we were happy. Throughout the day several members of Grapid came through to bring supplies and check in. The stars of the show were definitely Tyler and Eric who worked until after 7pm to complete the HVAC job. They worked well together and I could overhear them as I graded papers upstairs. They treated each other with respect and humor. It was so refreshing to have work done in our home by such wonderful people. They even took the time to FaceTime with my husband who was at work to show the final product and answer all of his questions. Without hesitation I will recommend Grapids (specifically Todd, Tyler and Eric) to anyone! I came back to add we had quotes from three different companies and Grapid was under the others AND included upgrading our electrical panel with one of their subcontractors.
