Saw UPS dude with his truck right outside my house. Sounded like he was unloading my package (about 100lbs) about to be dropped off. Dude then just drove off without delivering the package. Checked UPS tracking only to be notified that a delivery was attempted and that will try again tomorrow. I get it. The package is heavy and you don't want to carry it to my doorstep. Doesn't mean you can drive off and fake your delivery attempt. The package was time sensitive as well! Avoid avoid!!! read more

I am very satisfied with UPS. When it comes to shipping packages there really is no other choice. The drivers are super friendly and the company works hard to get all your needs met. read more

They are 3 days late delivering my shipment as of today 10/19. I've called customer service twice to fix the problem . First they get my address wrong which is their fault because i checked my shipping info and everything was correct & being shipped is a recurring subscription. Customer service DIDNT apologize on their behalf either. UPDATE.. customer service lady at the hub was very nice , i was inform to either wait again for delivery or pick up my shipment. Apparently the driver that was suppose to deliver my package has gotten many complaints about attempting to deliver & not actually trying . Upon getting there the UPS guys directed me & ask if i needed help carrying my box but overall picking up my package was a better experience then waiting to get it . read more

UPS sucks. I called to get my package left on my porch or left at a location and their "customer service" tells me they can't help me, I have to download their app in order to change the status. What exactly is the point of a customer service line?! The reason I had to call in the first place is because they always tried to deliver the package (3 times) at 3pm. If we're not home at 3pm the first time, probably not going to be the next week or the week after either. So now I have to pick it up from a location, there's NONE in Modesto and only one in Ceres, AND that location IS CLOSED ON THE WEEKEND. Guess what UPS? When people aren't home during the week to get their delivery, the weekend is probably the best time for them to be able to pick up their packages. Common sense it seems. Also they're only open to pick up packages between 8:30pm and 9pm. 30 mins?! Seriously bad customer service. I also had to call them 2 weeks ago for a work related shipment, and unlike Fed-Ex, they won't even contact the driver or leave a note on the packages tracking for you. Use USPS or Fed-Ex, you'll be better off and have less headaches. read more

I've been trying to get a return label delivered for a package for 2 WEEKS! They tell me I can't pick it up and it has to be delivered to me but then nobody ever delivers it. They have promised me it will be picked up (insert following date) multiple times and nothing. They can't ever transfer me to a supervisor because they are always "unavailable". They put me on hold for 10 minutes at a time and come back with no new information. I am ready to give up on my $50 return item because of UPS. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! No way around this because I didn't choose to use UPS the company who I'm returning the $75 item to chose UPS pick up and it is costing me $25 in return shipping hence the item is now only worth $50 return to me at this point. FRUSTRATING! read more

I just wish I could give 0 stars, my packages have supposed to be on truck for delivery for two days. Still no delivery tomorrow will be day 3 in town with no delivery read more

Trying to navigate where customers are supposed to go is a little challenging but not enough so to take away any stars and have any kind of negative experience. The customer service representatives were the best. They were so funny, very helpful, and made the trip there very quick while offering the best of the best customer service. I had this one customer service representative that had me in tears from laughing so hard by the time I left. Great experience and I will definitely be visiting them again soon. Unfortunately I was unable to get his name. read more

Horrible service, do not i repeat do not go through them use FedEx or someone ells, their customer service is rude they don't deliver on time and honestly they really don't care. Hardly ever use yelp so that should let you know how bad it is... stay away from this shipping method read more

Had made a scheduled pick up for a package I missed earlier in the day. So was Great! I paid for next day air last Thursday August 6th and was scheduled to receive no later than 9:00 P.M. Friday the 7th. Got a B.S. update at 3:51 P.M. on the 7th that it was delayed one extra business day. Beings the weekend was not considered as a business day was informed that it would be Monday the 10th. UPS just came by with a different package but not the next day air. These humanoids are a joke, I know there are major drug issues in this area but could at least one straight person actually Fulfill shipping obligations. They hardly work and do not answer phones and their stupid online assistant is inadequate and incompetent. Can not wait for UPS to put Fed Ex out of business and then for Amazon delivery to be fully realized and put these fools out of business. One star because they do not afford you to post a lower rating. read more

Today, I got saddled with a lazy UPS driver.  He failed to read.  His notation was that there wasn't an apartment number.  After nearly an hour, he was in the area...LITERALLY ACROSS THE STREET, and "offered" to let me come to him to get my package.  I asked if I would send my husband.  I was told it would be the drivers choice as to weather or not he gave the package to my husband. THEIR driver makes a mistake, and isn't required to fix it in the same day....with him LITTERALLY ACROSS THE STREET. Your drivers have too much power if they are allowed to not read the labels, skip a drop, and then demand where they meet to give the package. If this is how they treat summer customers, I pity Christmas customers. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am so frustrated I can barely find the words to write a review . I sent a package to my mom. I got a notification stated it was delivered with a signature. Truck never arrived at delivery address. I called in to try to see what was going on. UPS states they are not responsible for signed packages. "It was delivered" . Obviously it is your fault that your driver delivered it somewhere else and it was not signed by me or my mother. Next package was to be delivered today my mother has been waiting outside to catch the driver to ensure her package is delivered successfully(which is bullshit). It is not my moms responsibility to ensure your drivers do their job correctly, Its their JOB to not continuously F everything up for everyone else. Mom calls me when driver arrives. Driver states that he delivered her package somewhere else but doesn't remember what space it was. Awesome , right? Don't you love spending money on invisible things ??? All it takes is looking at the package and the space number , if they match . That is the address you deliver too. Confused ? No space number? DON'T DELIVER IT !!!!! Don't give people my shit that I pay for ... FOR FREE!!!!! Thank you UPS for ONCE again being a huge disappointment and headache!!!!(: read more

Package said out for delivery. Waited all day basically in front of the door for it. Around 8pm I checked the tracking and it said attempted but failed. There's was no attempt! This is not the first time it happened. I wish I didn't have to deal with them. Worst company ever!! read more

Called because the new access point program is very wonky and keep sending my packages back to Ceres and not admitting to it or informing me. I called Ceres and they were very polite and accommodating. Now I am waiting to see if they do call me back on this matter because even though it stated they tried final delivery at 5 pm that is not true!!! They want me to pick it up there now and I am unable to drive. So let see if my five star rating drops to a one. The employee today there in Ceres was amazing. She was super employee. Ten stars. She went over beyond her job description read more

Package to be delivered Friday, July 1. UPS posted on line attempted delivery. I was near the front door all day. No truck, no note, no delivery attempt. Why would the UPS lie? Lazy? Too busy and wanted to go home? Who knows. The USPS and other competitors are looking better. read more

Gorillas and Dunces seem to deliver to us. Too many tales to tell, but we request FedEx or USPS whenever we need something delivered. The latest fiasco was a cooler with $1500 in medicine left by UPS out near the street, but scanned as delivered. This place is horrible my damm driver tries to leave my packages across town at a ups store when I clearly pay for shipping to my home. They are liar and lazy. A couple of weeks ago waited for my new cell phones to arrive. I intact was up at 6 am and stayed home all days to not miss this package it was a Friday. I tracked the package several time and it said in transit. By 6 pm I called UPS they after checking the mobile tracking site that stated the delivery was attempted, I was told the driver was there no one was home. I had them contact this location which then told me I couldn't pick it up until Monday and no further attempts to redeliver would be made because my driver was so courteous he came back and attempted a 2nd delivery on the same day, never leaving a notification that he had showed up. When I called I got a disgruntled employee that hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor, the other calls were not more courteous. I am writing today as I am waiting for the next excuse from UPS as to why my books for school didn't show up even though I paid for next day air to get a jump start. read more

It's nearly Christmas, and I have to ship gifts to another state, but they will probably be late thanks to ups. I just received my package a week late. I tried to have it delivered about 3 times this past week, But no matter how detailed my instructions were, they seemed to think my address didn't exist. There's really no need for instructions anyway. I live on a main highway. I googled my own address and there it was, clear as day, big numbers on not only the house, but the mailbox across the street. Every other shipping company has been delivering packages with no problems at all. A couple different women at this location made promises to tell the driver that my address is good, look it up, and just deliver the Damn thing already, and 2 days later, it hadn't been touched. They're lazy! I read the other reviews, and there's no doubt that it all boils down to lazy employees! They should be ashamed of themselves. I will never ship through ups, and I will never order anything that is shipped through ups ever again. Thanks for causing me stress this holiday season ups! read more

Called today to find a package that was supposed to be delivered today but it said "exception" online so curious as to why I hadn't received it I called this center and the guy who answered was infuriatingly RUDE. I was so nice and wasn't angry, just curious as to what it meant. I've never been treated like that by someone who was supposed to be helping me!! I could only assume he secretly works for fedex because he most definitely didn't want to help keep business for UPS. worst attitude and least helpful person I've ever spoken with. I called back because he was such an awful person and got a woman who was extremely nice and very helpful. I still will never go to or endorse this UPS ever. wow so I had ordered a package via amazon prime... 2 day shipping supposedly.... it should have arrived on the fourth of the month as of 8pm it has been late 2 days now both amazon and ups have given themselves an extra 4 days extended delivery time just for the hell of it i suppose. As i can get no answers as to why the package is late from ups or amazon just that it is... and they have as long as they want to deliver it despite there guaranteed delivery date which is now changed to the 8th with the caveat that should said parcel be later than the 8th i can reorder a replacement or get a refund on the 9th.So professional from these 2 huge companies to just leave there customers in the lurch like this oh where is my package? I do not know maybe its sitting roadside somewhere... thrown out the back of a truck for all I know since the last update received was on day 1 of shipping. This is where i would give u.p.s no stars if possible sadly I cannot. read more

Was supposed to get my package on Friday, but then was delayed till Monday. I decided to see if I can switch to pickup so I'd be able to just pick it up Saturday instead of waiting. The automated phone service said I can pick it up today still, or even tomorrow. I decided to pick today and it said they'd call me to confirm. They never called so I called them and the lady said that they are closed Saturday and Sunday. Pretty annoying that it said I could pick it up today, ups needs to change their automated phone system. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I will not use UPS if at all possible. There are no words to describe how frustrating it is that I waited over a month for a package to be shipped, only to have UPS decide that they will send it back to the shipper because the little tags the presumably stuck to my door fell off and I found them 1 day too late. when I did find them, there was no information written and no direct phone number to the care center, just the 1-800 number to corporate. read more

Seriously what is wrong with UPS?? I was supposed to have a package delivered a few days ago, heard a faint knock on the door and by the time i went to answer a few seconds later..Gone. Left a note saying they would attempt again next day. Umm ok.. next day rolls around i leave the signed note on door just in case they leave before i get to door a few feet away. Nobody slows up. Check tracking and they said they left it at a drop off point 15 mins away that i have to go get. Great... so a package that i should've received on Thursday i now have to wait till this place is open on Monday to go get. Ugh... I was also supposed to have received a package from amazon on Saturday too from them. Nothing.. i get an email saying they attempted delivery. Haha ok so no note on door, apartment gate is broken and wide open so that's not an issue, and both my husband and i were Home all day... attempted delivery hah bunch of BS read more

i would give Ceres,CA UPS a big fat 0 if I could. They have lousy excuses for some employees. I am not faulting all employees, only those who have lied about me, not being available for delivery. This has happened to me with an Amazon delivery and a Walmart.com delivery, which still has not arrived. I called their (800) 742-5877 numbers and complained, the customer service representative was rude, to the point of making me the villain and the UPS driver the victim. I am really fed up with the Ceres UPS center, and will order nothing else online till Ceres, CA UPS Drivers learn Customer Service is a valuable tool, one they certainly need to train their drivers in. In speaking with Amazon, Walmart.com and Walmart Corporate I expect them to fully excoriate UPS for their lackadaisical attitude and this morning I called the UPS local number (209) 531-2380 to complain about the actions of the driver on July 12, 2016. We will see how that works this time around, since this is the 2nd time I have had to call Ceres UPS. I am forwarding these comments to Walmart.com and Amazon to show, this is not a mistake but a recurring problem. Requesting they use this in their negotiations with whatever company delivers the products ordered from whatever company. I appreciate all those who had the courage and fortitude to complete reviews, UPS Ceres needs to know how customers are treated by Ceres, CA UPS. read more
