Saw UPS dude with his truck right outside my house. Sounded like he was unloading my package (about 100lbs) about to be dropped off. Dude then just drove off without delivering the package. Checked UPS tracking only to be notified that a delivery was attempted and that will try again tomorrow. I get it. The package is heavy and you don't want to carry it to my doorstep. Doesn't mean you can drive off and fake your delivery attempt. The package was time sensitive as well! Avoid avoid!!! read more

They are 3 days late delivering my shipment as of today 10/19. I've called customer service twice to fix the problem . First they get my address wrong which is their fault because i checked my shipping info and everything was correct & being shipped is a recurring subscription. Customer service DIDNT apologize on their behalf either. UPDATE.. customer service lady at the hub was very nice , i was inform to either wait again for delivery or pick up my shipment. Apparently the driver that was suppose to deliver my package has gotten many complaints about attempting to deliver & not actually trying . UPS sucks. I called to get my package left on my porch or left at a location and their "customer service" tells me they can't help me, I have to download their app in order to change the status. What exactly is the point of a customer service line?! The reason I had to call in the first place is because they always tried to deliver the package (3 times) at 3pm. If we're not home at 3pm the first time, probably not going to be the next week or the week after either. So now I have to pick it up from a location, there's NONE in Modesto and only one in Ceres, AND that location IS CLOSED ON THE WEEKEND. Guess what UPS? When people aren't home during the week to get their delivery, the weekend is probably the best time for them to be able to pick up their packages. Common sense it seems. Also they're only open to pick up packages between 8:30pm and 9pm. 30 mins?! Seriously bad customer service. I also had to call them 2 weeks ago for a work related shipment, and unlike Fed-Ex, they won't even contact the driver or leave a note on the packages tracking for you. Use USPS or Fed-Ex, you'll be better off and have less headaches. read more

I've been trying to get a return label delivered for a package for 2 WEEKS! They tell me I can't pick it up and it has to be delivered to me but then nobody ever delivers it. They have promised me it will be picked up (insert following date) multiple times and nothing. They can't ever transfer me to a supervisor because they are always "unavailable". They put me on hold for 10 minutes at a time and come back with no new information. I am ready to give up on my $50 return item because of UPS. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! No way around this because I didn't choose to use UPS the company who I'm returning the $75 item to chose UPS pick up and it is costing me $25 in return shipping hence the item is now only worth $50 return to me at this point. Trying to navigate where customers are supposed to go is a little challenging but not enough so to take away any stars and have any kind of negative experience. The customer service representatives were the best. They were so funny, very helpful, and made the trip there very quick while offering the best of the best customer service. I had this one customer service representative that had me in tears from laughing so hard by the time I left. Great experience and I will definitely be visiting them again soon. I paid for next day air last Thursday August 6th and was scheduled to receive no later than 9:00 P.M. Friday the 7th. Got a B.S. update at 3:51 P.M. on the 7th that it was delayed one extra business day. Beings the weekend was not considered as a business day was informed that it would be Monday the 10th. UPS just came by with a different package but not the next day air. These humanoids are a joke, I know there are major drug issues in this area but could at least one straight person actually Fulfill shipping obligations. They hardly work and do not answer phones and their stupid online assistant is inadequate and incompetent. If I could give 0 stars I would. I am so frustrated I can barely find the words to write a review . I sent a package to my mom. I got a notification stated it was delivered with a signature. Truck never arrived at delivery address. I called in to try to see what was going on. UPS states they are not responsible for signed packages. "It was delivered" . Obviously it is your fault that your driver delivered it somewhere else and it was not signed by me or my mother. Next package was to be delivered today my mother has been waiting outside to catch the driver to ensure her package is delivered successfully(which is bullshit). Today, I got saddled with a lazy UPS driver.  He failed to read.  His notation was that there wasn't an apartment number.  After nearly an hour, he was in the area...LITERALLY ACROSS THE STREET, and "offered" to let me come to him to get my package.  I asked if I would send my husband.  I was told it would be the drivers choice as to weather or not he gave the package to my husband. THEIR driver makes a mistake, and isn't required to fix it in the same day....with him LITTERALLY ACROSS THE STREET. Your drivers have too much power if they are allowed to not read the labels, skip a drop, and then demand where they meet to give the package. Was supposed to get my package on Friday, but then was delayed till Monday. I decided to see if I can switch to pickup so I'd be able to just pick it up Saturday instead of waiting. The automated phone service said I can pick it up today still, or even tomorrow. I decided to pick today and it said they'd call me to confirm. They never called so I called them and the lady said that they are closed Saturday and Sunday. Called because the new access point program is very wonky and keep sending my packages back to Ceres and not admitting to it or informing me. I called Ceres and they were very polite and accommodating. Now I am waiting to see if they do call me back on this matter because even though it stated they tried final delivery at 5 pm that is not true!!! The latest fiasco was a cooler with $1500 in medicine left by UPS out near the street, but scanned as delivered. They are liar and lazy. A couple of weeks ago waited for my new cell phones to arrive. I intact was up at 6 am and stayed home all days to not miss this package it was a Friday. I tracked the package several time and it said in transit. By 6 pm I called UPS they after checking the mobile tracking site that stated the delivery was attempted, I was told the driver was there no one was home. I had them contact this location which then told me I couldn't pick it up until Monday and no further attempts to redeliver would be made because my driver was so courteous he came back and attempted a 2nd delivery on the same day, never leaving a notification that he had showed up. When I called I got a disgruntled employee that hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor, the other calls were not more courteous. I am writing today as I am waiting for the next excuse from UPS as to why my books for school didn't show up even though I paid for next day air to get a jump start. read more

It's nearly Christmas, and I have to ship gifts to another state, but they will probably be late thanks to ups. I just received my package a week late. I tried to have it delivered about 3 times this past week, But no matter how detailed my instructions were, they seemed to think my address didn't exist. There's really no need for instructions anyway. I live on a main highway. I googled my own address and there it was, clear as day, big numbers on not only the house, but the mailbox across the street. Every other shipping company has been delivering packages with no problems at all. A couple different women at this location made promises to tell the driver that my address is good, look it up, and just deliver the Damn thing already, and 2 days later, it hadn't been touched. They're lazy! I read the other reviews, and there's no doubt that it all boils down to lazy employees! They should be ashamed of themselves. Called today to find a package that was supposed to be delivered today but it said "exception" online so curious as to why I hadn't received it I called this center and the guy who answered was infuriatingly RUDE. I was so nice and wasn't angry, just curious as to what it meant. I've never been treated like that by someone who was supposed to be helping me!! I could only assume he secretly works for fedex because he most definitely didn't want to help keep business for UPS. worst attitude and least helpful person I've ever spoken with. I had a perishable item I had to pick up because they were going to deliver it by end of day. They seriously need to be nice to ppl seem so miserable at this UPS in Ceres. i would give Ceres,CA UPS a big fat 0 if I could. They have lousy excuses for some employees. I am not faulting all employees, only those who have lied about me, not being available for delivery. This has happened to me with an Amazon delivery and a Walmart.com delivery, which still has not arrived. I called their (800) 742-5877 numbers and complained, the customer service representative was rude, to the point of making me the villain and the UPS driver the victim. I am really fed up with the Ceres UPS center, and will order nothing else online till Ceres, CA UPS Drivers learn Customer Service is a valuable tool, one they certainly need to train their drivers in. In speaking with Amazon, Walmart.com and Walmart Corporate I expect them to fully excoriate UPS for their lackadaisical attitude and this morning I called the UPS local number (209) 531-2380 to complain about the actions of the driver on July 12, 2016. We will see how that works this time around, since this is the 2nd time I have had to call Ceres UPS. I am forwarding these comments to Walmart.com and Amazon to show, this is not a mistake but a recurring problem. Requesting they use this in their negotiations with whatever company delivers the products ordered from whatever company.
