theres a particular usps staff lady with short hair (robin) who is extremely rude and obviously doesn't like her job. Among other things, Robin is too old to be acting immature, childish, not being able to work with others, and not being able to take accountability for her actions. It's been multiple times that Robin has thrown away my packages and has not given me a valid reason for it. What she does give me instead is unprovoked attitude, and a tone mocking my questions and concerns. When I went in to ask about my mail Robin called me over and immediately rolled her eyes and fixed her dentures to say "How many times do I have to tell you, I don't have your mail. If you don't like the way things work here, go back to where you came from" I was appalled and astounded at how the manager did not react to hearing that? Is this something normal that she always does? At her BIG age does management not educate or train her anymore? Robin also makes up so many lies for the reason she had to throw away my packages. Why throw them away when you can have it sent back to the sender?? Is there any management in this establishment? The rudest staff I have ever met. They don't generate labels when it's their job. You have to hand write it. Robin is probably the worst one of them all. Constantly being nasty to other customers around her and even her own colleagues. If they were in another line of business they would be fire on the spot because of how they act and treat others. I went to drop off a prepaid box and a very rude lady with short brown hair told me that was not possible. I finally convinced her to at least try and scan the label. The scan was successful and she said oh no one has ever done this before. She continued to be very rude. I will take my business somewhere else. And, I know that the loss of business for her will not matter. read more

Won't answer phone when there is a problem with the community mail boxes. Replace the box and don't keys won't work.

We moved here a couple weeks ago and the staff has been so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Kim and Robin were the first we met and they've been so sweet to my kids and me. Literally the worst post office I have ever encountered and robin is the most unprofessional employee I have ever had an Interaction with. When I opened my post office box I placed the names of every person who would be receiving mail at that address. They stated that everyone over 18 would need to come in with their ID to complete the process. Well today one of the people I authorized went in and she was told I had to be present. I called the post office and was assisted by Robin and was told they require that because they need to make sure o authorized it. I then proceeded to state that I thought I authorized that when I filled out the form and signed it and placed the names on there. She did a loud annoyed sigh and stated to call back once her boss was in. Now I'm worried that any mail coming in my daughter's name that's a minor will get sent back because apparently the form I signed in person is not sufficient. Also the other day I went to get mail and our mailbox was closed due to previous owners going in to close box. So I had to wait till next business day to go in person to have it reopened. They have no idea what's going on there and employees are extremely rude. I'm forced to use that post office because my street is not allowed a mailbox according to them. read more

No lines! Yes...no lines. It is worth the drive to go into Hughson or Empire to their post offices to expeditiously mail anything. Full services as found in any other post office and very nice people happy to take care of you. Want to go main stream? Go to the Modesto post offices where there will be 4 - 8 windows with only two manned, maybe three at any one time and get to meet a lot of people who are waiting in line with you. The little POs are just more accommodating and faster. read more

Lost my package once again.. said they had help working in the back and could have put in someones elses box. That does me no good. Whoever got my package will not return it its been 2 days now. I Lost something that I can not replace and was told i would get a call from supervisor but not sure when.STILL NO CALL. Im not very happy right now. So am i getting reimbursed for lost package? The only reason I am giving this place 1 star is because of Robin the employee, who is absolutely unprofessional and rude. I have had numerous encounters with this woman, she has zero customer service, like really? You work a wonderful, easy, great paying job, THE LEAST THING YOU COULD DO IS BE POLITE. I love the town of Hughson, but I hate the post office! A good part of the town does not get mail delivery so we have to get a Po Box. I have had the same Po Box for four years and they have sent back my TID bill, bank statements, credit card bills, and checks!! Now this has happened at least two-three times a year that I found out about and this last months we haven't even gotten one bill just junk mail. When we talked to the employees their answer is "I don't know what happened your name is on the box" we have now left them and went and paid for a box at one of their competitors and also I have written a complaint to the post master general (And the government wonders why the mail is a failing business). Good luck to you if you want to get a box from them. read more

I would give this review zero stars if possible. My parents were waiting for a delivery that required a signature. They tracked it online and knew when it would be arriving. My mom saw the mail carrier get out of the truck and head to the front door. She headed to the front door to meet the carrier and receive her package (she has an amputated leg and is in a wheel chair so she headed to the door as soon as she saw the vehicle arrive knowing she would need the extra time to get to the door). The mail carrier never knocked on the door or rang the door bell. My mom opened the door within seconds of the mail carrier getting out of the truck and all that was there was a piece of paper saying delivery was "attempted" and to pick up the package at the post office. This mail carrier had no intention of ever delivering that package! The paper stating that they attempted delivery was already filled out and ready to put on my parents door! When my dad drove down to the post office to retrieve the package, they could not give it to him because the mail carrier had it on the truck! I later went down to complain and insist they complete the delivery TODAY 7/5/17. The clerk took down my information and my parents information and referred me to his supervisor who will not be in until tomorrow. He agreed to have the item delivered today after the mail carriers shift was complete. It is now after 6:30 pm and still no package and no phone call to me or my parents. The service in this little town of Hughson is horrible. I am constantly getting other people's mail. Including receiving prescription medications for a person who lives on the next street over! Something needs to be done. This should not keep happening. I will be filing a formal complaint. read more
