When we contacted them, Dave was quick to respond and set up the appointment for an estimate. The day of the scheduled estimate he kept us updated to his arrival and came as scheduled. He explained the process and the various products we could choose from. He had samples for us an explained what options might work best considering our weather conditions etc. He presented us an estimate with no pressure for what we chose. The choice was simple and we signed the contract. He made us aware of the timeline etc which was not as issue. As per Dave's meeting and contract we were contacted about a week before installation and asked if a given day would fit our schedule. The day before the scheduled installation we were texted a reminder. The morning of the installation we were called about 30 minutes before the scheduled time of arrival. They arrived right on time. Wade and his guys (Edgar and Sean) went right to work. They were professional and extremely courteous as well as personable. They wore "booties" and had no problem with our friendly dogs. First, the installation team left without addressing the cracks/damage to my windowsill. They obviously saw the damage but did not mention it or let me know that someone would be scheduled to come back and fix it. I had to call the company myself and send pictures before they sent someone out. When they came back, all they did was sand down the damaged area and fill it in. I am also very disappointed with the fit of the shutters. I was told afterward that the shutters are not custom-sized and that the gap around them is "industry standard" because of the sizing of new-build windows. The gap is large enough that you can actually see the screws, which makes the shutters look like they were not properly sized for the window. What makes this even more disappointing is that their website advertises "custom shutters" and describes their shutters as having a "perfect fit." Someone came to my home to measure my windows before I purchased them, so I was under the impression that the shutters would be custom measured and ordered specifically for my windows. I was also told that I would have to wait weeks for the shutters because they needed to be ordered in the correct size. The final result does not look or feel like a custom, perfect-fit installation. When someone finally came out to address the damaged windowsill, I was also told that if I wanted to cover the large gap, I should purchase a weather stripping product from Amazon and install it myself. I was very surprised that after spending $1,500 on two windows, I was being directed to purchase something myself to make the shutters look properly finished. Had I known beforehand that there would be a noticeable gap, visible screws, and that I would essentially need to add my own weather stripping to make the installation look finished, I would have purchased from a different company. I spent approximately $1,500 on shutters for just two windows, so I expected a much better fit and finish. I understand that some clearance may be necessary for installation, but the large gap and visible screws are not what I expected from a company advertising custom shutters and a perfect fit. Overall, while the customer service was pleasant, I am extremely disappointed with the final product and the way the installation issues were handled. I wish the expectations regarding sizing, gaps, and installation had been made clear before I made the purchase.

As with any order, it's always important to verify your products, make, color, and design decisions as it's easy for installer or customer to miss something. Frank is always excellent with scheduling follow-up, you reach a real person by phone or text and I would readily recommend Harmony. I didn't know if it was the motor or what. So naturally I reached out back to harmony for help. I called Caesar's number and it went to voicemail. He states in his voicemail that he won't listen to messages so he asks that you text him instead. So that's exactly what I did. He has yet to respond to me and that was about 2 weeks ago. So yes, the customer service will be great until they get your money and then they're done with you. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Find someone or a company that cares about their customers even after the fact that they received payment.
