I had shutters installed May of 2019. They were ordered March of 2019 and there was a delay which I was given a $75 credit for. After the shutters were installed there was an issue with the shutter over the kitchen sink. I messaged Christopher regarding that and he replied "Ricky, Didn't want to bother if you're sleeping. Call me when you can. Later is ok. My manufacturer has to remake the kitchen shutter. They made it wrong. I apologize for that. The other issue I can take a look at or my installer can stop by. How do they look besides those 2 issues. Thank you, Chris" Two months went by and I got another message about the delay and that they would be ready in a few weeks. I messaged several more times and just never got any replies anymore. Once the company installed, they essentially stopped caring. Won't use or recommend again. Customer service always goes along way and I'm very disappointed. The shutters look nice, but now due an error the kitchen shutter is not able to be opened as I would have liked it to. We had a challenging shutter project in our home, essentially using shutters to fill two large wall openings between our office and our great room. Despite a small glitch in installation, the job was finished far beyond our expectations and we're thrilled with the results. Hi, I really am disappointed with Chris at Lighthouse Shutters. I was going to write a great review for him and his company after our most recent order was installed. The first orders went okay with them except for lack of communication, he never responded to my messages and would rarely call back. The "Third" order was made Aug 2020 which I was expecting some delays due to Covid19 was told would be installed by Christmas for sure. After multiple calls of trying to find out when the install would take place I'm told in mid December that he's "Chris" is going to have refund our deposit because "issues ". Well its March 1st tomorrow and haven't heard from him or received a dime of our deposit back.. it's kinda sad, we really thought Chris was a standup guy.. read more

I ordered custom wood shutters from Lighthouse Shutters. I live in an older home in Canyon Lake and I have a couple non-standard arched windows that I needed shutters for. I was worried that custom wood shutters for my odd shaped windows would cost me a fortune, but actually the price was very reasonable. The owner Kyle came over to my house to provide an estimate and explain the process to me. He said that the arched windows would not be a problem, and he could easily order shutters to fit. I ended up ordering window coverings for all the windows in my house because I wanted them all to match, and the samples looked really nice. The window coverings were installed a couple weeks ago and they look GREAT! I can't stop looking at my windows now. My husband and I love them. Working with Kyle was great too because he would frequently email me updates about the status of my shutters, so I was never left wondering what happened after I put my deposit down. read more
