Fellow Yelpers stop your searching, this is the company you want to help pick and install your chosen window coverings. I had 14 windows, completely naked, that needed blinds/shades. I searched yelp, saw this company as the first pick, and gave the number a call. Initially I got a voicemail - so I left a message. Jim called back not long after. We arranged for him to come out and show me what he could for me later that week. Jim showed up on time for our appointment and well prepared. He had thick books of samples of EVERYTHING. Very well prepared. We discussed what I was looking for/what would look best and while he provided his professional opinion on what would look good he also listened and supported everything I wanted as the customer. Then we walked through the house and looked at each window. Jim is very detail oriented and meticulously measured and re-measured. I had an old set of blinds that were on one window that I was replacing that had been installed wrong/was barely hanging on - and even though he did not have to do so Jim took the time and tried to fix this issue as he stated he was afraid it would fall off and possibly injure one of my kids. Additionally I had just had new windows installed and the framing on my main living room windows had not been completed yet....Jim could have just guessed the measurements based off the other windows but was very straightforward in saying that we should wait for the framing to be done before measuring for the blinds there. I guess that's impressive to me because that meant he had to take more time out on an additional day to again come out and measure instead of just playing on my ignorance and using the measurements from what he could see on that initial appointment. The window fixtures are custom made and so it took a couple weeks to make but in the meantime we were supplied with these paper like temporary coverings for the window that Jim placed before leaving. My husband and I are both shift workers and sleep during the day - Jim was able to provide temporary black out coverings that made our bedroom super dark. Very thoughtful. When the blinds were done another man came to install them - a subcontractor hired by this company to do installation. I hate to admit I forgot the mans name but he was very nice and got the job done. He made sure to test all fixtures to make sure they opened and closed prior to leaving. He also made sure to show me each final result as well and made sure to clean up after himself. If I ever had to get more window fixtures I would not hesitate to use this company again. And I would without a doubt recommend to family, friends, and Yelpers!! read more

Here I am writing another review. Jim is the best! He so so kind, easy to communicate with, is very detailed, and sees to it you are taken care of after the installation of your blinds. He called me a few days after my blinds were installed to be sure I was happy with them/to be sure everything was ok. He wanted to be sure the blinds were ok, too, because he would be going on vacation. I told him everything was good to go. That next day or so, my cat had gotten up into the blind at night and the safety cord had come loose. I panicked because I wanted the blind to go down and not have them open at night. Jim had gotten my email; and, immediately told me he had already left and was up state for vacation. I told him I thought that; but, I just wanted to know if he had left yet for sure. Anyways, he communicated with me. I had remembered what we had talked about; and, I stuck all the cords, patiently, back into the safety round thing and snapped it back together. I told him that. He told me to keep the blinds down for now; and, when he got home he would immediately set up an appointment and come out to my house to be sure everything was ok. He was true to his word. He just came out today; and, he checked it all out . Then he added some rubber bands so that it would hold it together better and not come out as easily, if the cats did that again.
