He was patient as we took our time understanding the different options (wood type, tilt or no tilt, llover sizes etc). He explained all the price options to us as well. Worked with us on pricing and was always patient and made the time to answer our questions as they came up. We decided to get plantain shutters for the entire house and went with the premium wood option (the most expensive wood). Installation day came and I was disappointed with all the imperfections on the corners of the shutters. However, they scheduled a follow up appointment and fixed everything. Terrible Company. I know Covid is having its toll on companies but communication should never be compromised with a customer. I originally scheduled an appoint back in July. After an hour had gone by and no one showed up I called the office and learned someone had contracted COVID and their whole staff had to quarantine. A month later I called to schedule an appointment and the sales rep (SAM?) showed up without his brochures. He came back the next night and left his samples at my doorstep. Didn't explain features or colors just told me to go through it and choose what I wanted. Shame on me, I should have walked away but there price was significantly lower than the other bids and I went with the low price. NEVER AGAIN! After I placed the order they said it would take 3-4 weeks for install. Well 5 weeks went by and I didn't hear anything. I called the Sales rep several times and he told me he couldn't help me and for me to call the office. I called the office almost every day and no answer. I had already placed a $1,000.00 deposit and was calling to find out what the status was of my install. When I finally got a hold of someone the receptionist said she was out sick so she couldn't answer the phone. She gave me the managers cell and he said they were delayed 4-5 weeks on install due to COVID. He offered to install temporary blinds that were no more than toiler paper. At this point the best thing to do was to say goodbye. When I called to cancel they said that I would not receive my full deposit. I am still waiting on someone from the office to call me back about my deposit. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! read more

I'm not quite sure what happened to this company, but it completely went downhill from my previous experience. Their overall communication was very poor, which is extremely frustrating when it results in moving around my work schedules to accommodate. They (Sam - sales) initially committed to visit my home and provided a quote last Friday, July 31st at 11:00 am. Friday came and there was no communication shared that they were running late. I called around 12:30 pm (1 1/2 hours later) to follow up on the appointment and the person I spoke with said he would follow up with their sales team for an update. At 2:30 pm, I still did not hear from anyone so I called again and spoke to Brian, who was very apologetic and assured me they would reschedule for the following week. August 4th came (4 days later) and no one followed up so I called again. Spoke to Brian around 10:30 am (I had to refresh his memory because he doesn't even recall our past conversation on having to reschedule my appointment) and was informed that one of their sales will contact me that day and that he would follow up with me later within a few hours to ensure someone contacted me. August 5th: Received a call from Sam (sales) who apologized 5 days later from having to missed his original appointment on July 31st. He offered me a few open spots for August 6th or August 7th anytime after 10 am. I confirmed August 6 at 10:30 am as my rescheduled appointment. August 6th: Received a call from Sam at 12:20 pm (10:30 am appointment, close to 2 hours late) and came up with another excuse why he missed the appointment again (yet didn't care enough to call prior 10:00 am that he was running behind). He then said that another sales rep (Oscar) will come later this afternoon to provide me with the quote. I then replied and said "Do not bother coming because I've already contacted another shutter company." End of conversation. Lesson Learned: This company installed all my downstairs shutters and some of my bedroom upstairs in the past. I was initially pleased with their service and that's the reason I did not even bother calling anyone else to complete my entire upstairs (12 more windows to complete). My terrible experience comes solely from the poor customer service & communication skills. It's unfortunate that they are not accountable on their word because they are very skilled at the work they do. This vendor doesn't seem to care about their company's integrity, credibility to customer service. They over commit and under deliver. Sleazy sales folks like them are the ones tainting other sales people that are truly genuine in their jobs. They are not the only shutters in town and I know there are others out there that are able and willing to do their very best in providing home owners obtain a "Memorable Customer Experience!" They were honest about delivery delays prior to my order. Three blinds in our living room broke. My shutters are awesome and beautiful. I had mine shutters stained and the color came out awesome. They will provide you with three samples of stained woods to choose from before they stained them. This review is solely based on customer service experience & responsiveness. I have yet to have my shutters installed so I cannot speak to the quality of the shutters. I reached out to Sam (Sales Rep) on FB to inquire about the shutters. I specifically asked about the installation time and I was quoted 2 to 3 weeks. I compared prices and found other comprable companies but chose to go with Premier Shutters because they quoted 2 to 3 weeks as opposed to 3-4 weeks I got from others. Sam came to the house to do measurements and paid the deposit. In the receipt, I was quoted 3 to 4 weeks for installation. I reached out to Sam when the 4 weeks were almost up because no one had reached out to me to confirm installation. He then increased the time to 3 to 5 weeks. I called the office today and they increased that time to 6 weeks, and it is still pending. They can't even guarantee the intallatioin in the 6th week. I find this highly unprofessional. I could have undertood a minor delay of a few days, but twice as long as I was originally quoted is unacceptable. I really hope the quality of the shutters and installation really makes up for this deficiency. I will update my review once my shutters are installed. read more

Anyone else who is selling shutters is just a middleman that adds their markup. I am extremely happy with my new shutters. Took about 4 weeks from purchase to install. Very poor customer service!~ After gathering price quotes for shutters from various companies, they did provide the best price. However I have made several attempts to contact someone to come out and take measurements so that I can place an order. No one ever called me back after leaving several voicemail messages. After the 6th attempt I was finally able to get an appointment for this week. On the day/time of appointment, no one showed up. I called to let them know this and I was told their technician called out sick. Well if that is the case why hasn't anyone from Premium Shutters call me to let me know this? The rep did say they can send someone out later in the day, but at this point with their service along with requesting a 50% down payment in cash or pay an additional 3% for credit card transaction, I no longer trust this company with my money or business. They do not seem reliable with my money and time (took time off work to allow them access to my home). 5 no-call backs to my previous messages left and a no call/no show appointment = no business!
